Such a great little bike for the money. Cheaper than a Grom, off road capable out of the box, and probably can do 60 with a 200 lb rider aboard. Also, easy to tune with the carb.
I was also surprised how tall the seat was. I'm 6'1", so there aren't many bikes I can't flat foot, but I expected it to be very cramped. I was pleasantly surprised. You can also remove the footpeg rubbers and gain a smidge of leg room. A flatter seat and some taller bars or risers would make that even better.
@@aaronbehindbars I told a friend about this bike when it was announced and I thought it would be a good size for her to start. Maybe with a lowering link if that's an option.
It is a little taller than I thought too, and was very comfortable for me at 6’1”. I also have a 450RL and it is noticeably taller when you’re swinging your leg over
Love mine. Use it as a short commuter on nice days. Over 100mpg. FYI..the turn signals aren’t self canceling. $4087.40 OTD in Indianapolis area. The seat is a bit tall but at 5-8 I can still stand up one foot flat.
Honda on point with this bike introduction to the USA market at this price point! 👀 watch when Yamaha and Kawasaki come out with a 150cc street legal dirt bike soon 😄😆
For those of us on the west coast, I doubt we will get out of the dealership for much under $5000. It's really turned into a racket. At $5000, probably still makes sense to buy something else used. I do like the bike, though.
@jamesgreen1614 I didn't realize that the price was 1500$ different.. atleast what I see. 3k for honda $4500 for dr200 this is probably the best new vehicle at 3k. Even tu250x is 1k more
i bought one last week. only put about 30 miles on it as i still need to get my temp license. but its my first bike and im loving it.

I agree completely! I’ve been told it has 70mph in it, but not with me on this day at least
Did you add the kickstart to it or does it come with a kick start?
Love mine, had it just over a month now. I just got a camera for my helmet and I'll be posting ride videos in the next few days.
Enjoy!
How much was yours out the door?
@@ryankelly7273 $3499 total
I sat on one that our dealership has, seat height is taller than I imagined.
Then I test rode a 450RL and didn't hurt myself getting on it.

Thanks for the comment! They’re not self canceling?! Huh

Taxes and fees will always add to the price, but this is true with any bike
Even used bikes are selling same as msrp. Might as well get a brand new one
come to Ohio. got mine for $3517.
You can’t get this bike. Not enough available!
Seems to be an issue with Covid-era non-Japan built Honda’s
the dealership near me got 8 last friday. i bought one the same day and i went to pick it up Monday and mine was the only one left
Is this better than a dr200?
NO
