I think you guys should just move to Cambodia, you promote Cambodia better than the local government. Thank you for showing our country a lot of love, where as other foreigners mostly talk bad about us. Getting so much joy from watching your video. 😊😊😊
Don't temp us!!! 😁😁😁We love Cambodia so much!!! I could live their in a heart beat! We love making videos because everyone around us loves it and we all have so much fun! Just love it! 🥰🇰🇭 Have a great day!!

Fantastic job on describing the food flavor , I expect other people that never taste Cambodian food could imagine how the taste it like through your narratives, as we Cambodian know exactly how rich and flavorful and comforting our food are 😊, thank you for liking Cambodia . ❤

Hello from Melbourne Australia, Love the busy phnom penh city energy, Great Video guys, this video makes me miss cambodia so much ! ! My family and I were just in Cambodia 1 week ago. Keep up the good work :)
Awesome!!! Thats Fantastic and i hope you have an amazing 6 months!!! We are in Vietnam at the end of April 😁😁😁 You are going to have such a great time! We love all those countries and loved them!
When I was young, my friend and I used to go to a restaurant and order something really cheap with ice tea. We drank tea with sugar and lime for a couple hours chit chatting. They always had sugar and lime on the table. And the tea is free. They didn't like us that much. But they really didn't know what to say. They knew us. If you know Cambodia well, you know that there is a protection secret.
That is an awesome story! 🥰🥰🥰Unfortunately I don't know Cambodia well enough to know what a protection secret is😊I do love that they didn't kick out 2 kids just having a chat 😊Funny that they didn't quite know how to deal with the situation😂 I find it incredible how much care people show towards children in Cambodia. Obviously there is the horrific opposite side to that but when i see the way families and the community look after their kids it make me so happy😍Great story! Thank you!
@vintagefoodfarm each area of the city is controlled behind closed door by a group of youngsters who watch out for problems. This group may take monthly money or other things in return. I just discovered your channel and love it! 😊 I'm very happy to hear you're enjoying your visit to Cambodia, and Cambodia loves you! 😉😘 After watching this video, I'm itching to visit Cambodia soon, and next year seems too far! 😅 I can't wait!
Adding sugar to food is a western influence that has become a norm. Traditional food back in the 1990s-early 2000's were more savory and spicy. Nowadays, curries and soups (as well as other local dishes) are sweeter as they had to adjust for western taste buds throughout the years. A note on monks (from your other video) - you can give cash or food, just be sure not to touch/stand too close to monks (applies only to female). Love your videos!
hahaha!!😂😂😂 It is hilarious that your name is "Agentofkaos" and you are talking about being positive mind and happy go lucky!! 😁love it!🥰🥰🥰So glad you are enjoying the videos 😊Have a great day!!!
We are back now but I still have heaps of videos to put up 😊 you were right about that herb we were talking about in the countryside video! You were correct 💯 It was rice paddy herb 😁

Tim I see you went real Asian style, spoon and fork ...I just can't get it when I'm in Asia !!! I'm real English knife and fork for me!!from little I grew up knife and fork everyday!! I get you guys when you say no bread and eggs and bacon in the morning....my first trip to Asia China 2001..they gave me rice, duck and veggies in the morning for breakfast...I said sorry I can't do that... I was saved by the bell...a lady came in from Hong Kong and she had traveled around the world so she got me bread eggs and coffee...oh my word what an experience!! Debbie tell me why do they call the place a Russian market?? I must say there was a lot of great stuff at the Russian market !!!I had a great time watching the video thx Y'all !!
So happy you enjoyed the video!!! I would kill for rice, duck and veggies in the morning for breakfast!!! yummo! Hahahaha! Eggs are always safe 😊👍In the 1980's most of the goods there came from Russia and it was very popular among Russian expats in Phnom Penh as Russia was among very few countries that provided aids to Cambodia at that time. So the name is like a nick name. Its real name is Phsar Toul Tum Poung😁👍It is a really amazing market!!! We love it so much! The people are really nice and funny too! Have a great day in South Africa!!!😁
The green herb you were using with your noodle is called Ma-orm. It's a native rice Paddy herb. It is very highly value and love by Khmer people and it has a value in Khmer culture. 😊

Hi there :) What you refer to the fresh herb as, “Thai basil”, Cambodia is, “Gee-Krahome”, translations is “red basil”, you’d pronoun the “Gee” like when we refer to the music group called, the Bee Gees” 😁 You both are lovely, your UA-cam videos are informative, kind, fun, and helpful. Thank you for sharing your life with your viewers around the world. PS. The other herb in your beef curry noodles is Limnophila aromatica aka rice paddy herb :)

I’m a first generation Cambodian in Canada. Arrived here very young. I’m quite surprised when I hear about the sweetness in dishes in Cambodia and believe it when I see the amount they put in. I’m an older generation, all the khmer dishes I knew, can barely taste the sweetness. It’s use to balance/ round out some flavors. When I started going out for food, comparing to other SEA dishes, I found them sweet compared to all the Khmer dishes I grew up with. It was confusing to my taste buds. I think it’s a new thing.
Well............This is a whopper of an answer sorry 😁 We have had mixed experiences. Firstly they must have the botanical name on them. We have bought pepper back 3 times. First time no problem for ground or whole peppercorns. 2nd time they wouldn't let us bring in the pepper corns that were in grinders because they didn't have the botanical name in English. They did let us bring in the ground pepper (with the botanical name). This time we bought in whole peppercorns in grinders (some with botanical names and some without) and ground pepper without the botanical name😥 The Bio security guy said to us as long as they have the botanical name and they are in quality commercial packaging you can bring in both. It is defiantly risky because it is so inconsistent but they are pretty cheap so for us it is worth the risk. It is unbelievable pepper!!! Even the ground is very good if you get good quality. Make sure you taste test it first 😁bet that was as clear as mud 😊
