    Before being a superstar DJ: 95% producers fans 5% non-producer fans

    I struggle with the frequency of my posts because I struggle to find the content to actually post since I’m not at the level were I’m going to events and so on. What would be a good schedule for posting content on each platform? I’ve tried to find other accounts similar to my own for inspiration but haven’t found any so far

    Interesting tips. As a beginner, you don't really need to concern yourself with any of this though. Once you have developed your craft however, you'll have to really pay attention to your fan base and how you can continue to grow as they said in the video. I've learned that myself the hard way. I've had to appeal to regular fans and a particular crowd working in a duo project, and now am learning how to appeal to more production oriented fans as I make tutorials and projects on youtube under a different alias. C'est la vie

    Really got me thinking about where to go from here. I like talking nerdy with other producers🤷‍♂️. Thanks for the insights! You guys rock

    These advice are really effective, because I have a following on Soundcloud, but also Instagram and Twitter. I post my artwork there along with music. Thank you for always helping future producers and DJ's.

    I been making music for over 10 years and i decided that i am changing my career and these are my reasonings.
    So first i been getting my health back i was over weight about 400 pounds and was depressed lots the weight down to 260 and still going, after a while i noticed when i was making music i was just doing it to be cool and get attention i mean i loved it and everything and still make it just for fun.
    I found that the industry is way to saturated and none of it is unique and everyone is trying to do the same thing and end uo being fake about it.
    I find you either have to kiss ass to get a gig or pay your way into certain things. I like music don't get me wrong but im not making it a career decided not to.
    I decided to go back to school to become a nutritionist to work in a hospital and help people with thier helath and weight issues and get to there goals through life style changes.
    For me i was always like i wish i can do that * but now with health related things i am actually doing it and its something i am passionate about because i have expirence in it and i believe has been a great service to me and others.
    To me the music industry is fake and you have to have money to get anywere and you can even be yourself and be truthful.
    To me id rather help people and be myself and do what i am passionate about instead of being a fake person that has alot of ego and is never humblein taking the time for others.
    Good luck and glad you are enjoying sucks that the industry is like that and is shitty its not all cracked up to be. Ill still perform if i had the chance but i am not ever again going to chase people or kiss ass anymore. Doing it for me and if something comes up then great but if it doesn't ? Well ill still be doing something i enjoy

      The first reason "to be cool"
      I m persuing ut bcoz I can't spend a day without opening my PC and doing some music stuff.
      Dude hard work pays off , you really don't need to "kiss ass" or whatever you talking about...
      I would rather die with making music, than to live without making music!

    • @bishtt
      @bishtt 3 роки тому

      Your first reason is totally wrong... Of course you can't make it if you want to do it for looking " cool"

    Thank you for usefull tips :) I have a question: what label is the best for beginners?

    • @questiontheunknwn
      @questiontheunknwn 5 років тому +2

      David Loud you really don’t need a label if you are a beginner(or in general tbh), just focus on making music and growing your brand on social media and just upload as much as possible. Hope that helps and good luck! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

      3 years is *short* for music. like, really really short. if you have been able to go from 0 to big label within 3 years, you're a fcking god. it takes a loooong long time.
