How Belt Sizing Works

This video will show you how belts are measured so you can make sure you get the perfect fit. Belts have to be an exact size whereas trouser or jeans manufacturers sizes tend to vary. Especially around waist sizes 32" - 38". So hopefully this video will help you understand how they work and ensure you order the correct size belt.

So I measured my self and it’s coming to 31 but that can’t be right I’m a small guy and I’m getting a Moshino belt so the buckle is pretty big.

Hi,
If that is measured with a measuring tape then go for a medium. If that is the size jeans you wear then probably a large would be best.

My waist is comfortably about 38" but I wear comfortably a size 34 pant, 36 is too loose. What's up with that? So my belt size should be?

The whole point of this video is to show that pant size can't tell you belt size. You need to measure, as shown in the video you're commenting on.

Not 80cm full length no, that would be too small. You would want a belt with one of the holes 31" away from the buckle so a 28" - 32" size.
