Love this! Thank you for the info. What would you suggest if I have both dark brown and blonde hair? I have a balayage with my natural dark brown top that slowly fades into blonde. How can I remove the red/orange tones from the brown without changing the tone of the blonde?

omg so glad I found you!! ugh please help! so I had used black for years then started using artic fox red then went back to black last year. Finally my hair started turning my natural color dark brown so i thought it was a good time to dye. My husband helped me apply permanent Tanzanite and it didn't work. I had slight purple on top of my head and that was it. This was about a month ago meanwhile i was washed couple times with laundry soap and not sure if it helped but my hair just looked patchy. Yesterday I used Colorfix and my hair is now brassy but I can't seem to find any info on what semi permanent colors I can use after the Colorfix brassy orange. So frustrating! I wanted a dark blue but at this point I will settle for a blue black. Can you please tell me how soon I can dye with using Overtone or any other semi permanent hair dye. I went from a light blonde balayage to brown and it looks green. I guess I need to use the pink! Omg ty! 🙂
I have been using Overtones and find it leaves my hair in great condition. My hair is about one third silver and two thirds very dark brown. First I used Expresso but the color was very red on my silver hair.so I put Extreme Silver over that and the result is great! Blends the silver and dark brown while killing the red. Hi Sam, thanks for your videos. Im desperate, and have a question for you if you don’t mind. My true color is medium brown, but, I’ve been coloring it regularly with Just 4 Men to cover the grey. Last Tuesday (a week ago) while I wasn’t paying attention, I added a permanent color (ION Color Brilliance Medium Brown) to Just 4 Men (Medium/Light Brown), and T14 with #20 developer, and my hair turned out with orange/red, and even pinkish tones. Would you please suggest how I can correct this with the products I have?
Products I have to work with are: Just 4 Men (Ash Brown), #20 developer, T14, and ION Color Brilliance Medium Brown and Light Brown. I also have a Blue conditioner, and I use color-saving shampoo. Thank you!

Can you mix two conditioners if you two colors you want to neutralize? I would like to neutralize orange and red so I would want to use blue and green.

Whoa this is amazing! I guess I need the green one because my highlights look pretty similar to how yours looked before you applied the conditioner.
Can you use this on a regrowth ? I dye my moms hair to cover her greys and It always comes out very warm on her roots.

Hello would love To use this product. I dye hair at home BUT now that I’m older the grey is IN. So now I have the brassy yucky look all thru out the roots! I have medium brown hair using ash. If I used the blue overtone conditioner… would that help? Someone was telling me about a neutral color to purchase to add to my existing hair dye I think 1/2 oz of each? I’m lost! Ion Color brilliance permanent hair color is good. For blonde highlights on dark brown hair I use HLG High lift golden blonde

Hiiii! Question: When you apply initially to dry hair, do you then shampoo and recondition with the toner/conditioner straight away? Or do you just shampoo it out and not condition with the toner again? ❤️🙏🏽❤️
Tere Mertz no shampoo! I just rinse it out. That’s why I make sure to apply it to clean dry hair.
I have a question! I want to bleach (just once) my dark brown hair and then tone it to get a blonde-ish color, should I use a purple toner or a the blue one?
Also, I am planning on using Bleach Please by Arctic Fox... would you recommend it?
@@ElDiariodeLau If your hair is quite dark brown and you just bleach it once, it'll probably lift to a light warm reddish brown or an orange shade. If it's more brown red, try the green Overtone. If it's more orange, try the blue Overtone (and a very dark blue shampoo first ideally.) Good luck!
