  • Breastfeeding as a first time breastfeeding mom can often be hard work, but these AMAZING BREASTFEEDING FACTS will make you be glad you are doing everything you can to give your baby the MAGIC of MOTHER’S MILK! There are so many benefits of breastfeeding a newborn and young child but the breastfeeding challenges mamas encounter while feeding a newborn often hinder then from breastfeeding a baby as long as they wanted to. One of the ways to help mamas continue giving mothers milk to their baby is by sharing what the benefits of breastfeeding are (this video is FULL of them!), providing breastfeeding resources on how to breastfeed (have you checked out the whole breastfeeding playlist yet?!), breastfeeding education (the Postpartum Built To Birth Course!!), and help with breastfeeding along your specific journey (IBCLC or breastfeeding counselor!).
    As a nursing mom, simply having your own answers to why should you breastfeed and having your personal WHY is what motivates you to keep going when the going gets tough. Having a baby is hard work and that postpartum period is so sensitive. Whatever you choose, breastmilk or formula, be gracious and gentle with yourself. You’re doing the very best you can and your baby knows you love them endlessly!
    Check out more childbirth education and postpartum resources down below!

    Love this! All my babies were/will be exclusively breastfed. I nursed my first for a year, my second for 16 months, and I'm now 32 weeks pregnant with my third, my first baby boy. I'll nurse him into toddlerhood as well. Couldn't imagine feeding my babies any other way! Fed is best but breast is healthiest, the most nourishing, and so much more beneficial for both mama and baby.

      Sending you love and prayers! It’s NOT easy but so worth the investment in every way. And you know what, if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out! I always say breastfeeding with my little one was really really hard until it just wasn’t! However that happened? Ha. Practice makes better and spending the time to troubleshoot and see consultants is really worth all of the work 🤍

    So refreshing to hear a video full of truth on this subject. It’s such a controversial topic, but it really shouldn’t be. I had to stop nursing my 2nd child at 7 months because of low supply/work. I never fought the fight of “fed is best” because it’s not. “Fed” is the bare minimum. Breast milk is amazing!

    three of my children had to go to the hospital during their first 2 months of life due to flu or bronchiolitis. In the ward they were the only ones while we were there that were completely breastfed on demand. They were also the most mild in their illnesses and the only ones not needing tube feeding. Not a coincidence IMO

    • @qwnpngwn672
      @qwnpngwn672 3 роки тому +2

      That does sound excessive tbh. You can EBF on demand and your baby will set the schedule and regulate ur supply. In the hospital i was told "watch the baby not the clock". You can formula feed if u want to..but if you wanna ebf, you don't need formula at all.

    Aside from giving the baby a robust immune system, a healthy mind the other striking features I have noticed in those who were breastfed is good looks. A round face, a small concave nose, straight teeth and wide eyes are the most common in babies who were fed on mommy's elixir. So if you want your son to look like the angelic Paul Dano and your daughter to look like the cute Eliza Scanlen nurse away. They will thank you for it!!!

    I breast fed my oldest son for 23 months. He had never been sick. As soon as I stopped nursing him he caught a nasty stomach bug, followed by a sinus infection that led to a double ear infection... I felt absolutely horrible. But I was so pregnant with baby number two I could no longer nurse the other one. I now have a 4 day old baby who is nursing and doing great but my oldest who is now 2 years and 2 months old it jealous.

    I am 3 weeks PP, at two weeks PP I had a very scary medical experience. Over the course of four days I I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, started blood thinners, was diagnosed with gallstones that cause acute pancreatitis, and I had to have my gallbladder removed. I have been pumping and dumping since the 17th when I was admitted to the hospital because I am taking narcotics for the constant pain I am in. I’m trying to not take them so I can go back to breastfeeding as soon as I can but I am in a lot of pain still from my pancreas and my surgery. My milk production has slowed down to almost nothing, I am pumping every time my baby eats plus between feedings as well hoping that the extra stimulation with help me keep up my milk production but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m kind of having an emotional break down about not being able to nurse my baby. This is my third and last baby, and my whole pregnancy was a struggle. I was looking forward to after and being able to do all of the new mom things I loved doing with my first two babies post pregnancy, and I feel like these things are being taken away from me, including how I wanted to feed my baby. I know that a fed baby is a happy baby, and I’m so thankful that she hasn’t starved to death while I have been unable to nurse her, but I can’t help feeling the way I do.

They ask me do u wana go straight c section or try spatulas , i regret so much trying that i was 4 days exhausted n i feel terrible i did !!!!! I wouldn't recommend to anyone n i could feel it inside it felt rough on the baby !! Then i had e c section woch is really long to recover , i didn't know it was that bad but id do it anytime over using spatulas !!
