What is Dharma? A Debate on ethical dilemmas

The Mahabharat spawns more questions than answers. What is the ideal interplay between thought and action, taking and giving self-love and sacrifice? How can we tell right from wrong? What can we do to bring out the best in ourselves, and to live a life with purpose and meaning, not just one fuelled by ego and material needs?
Sanatan Dharma, often referred to as eternal or universal truth, embodies the essence of adaptability. It recognizes that the world is in a constant state of flux, and adherence to rigid dogma can lead to stagnation and irrelevance. Instead, Sanatan Dharma encourages individuals to uphold moral and ethical principles while remaining flexible in their approach to life's challenges.
So, I ask you, What is your Dharma?
The Sanskrit word for India is Bharat. The meaning of Bharat is actually fascinating. It comes from the root word 'Bha' which means light. This makes Bharatiya mean the one who pursues light. The light in this case would mean the pursuit of truth, knowledge, and personal enlightenment. A society built on this idea will inevitably be a rich society, not only materialistically but also culturally. ⁣Let us honor our cultural identity, celebrate our heritage, and embark on a journey to spiritual enlightenment, always seeking the truth and never compromising our spirit. Making us worthy of the name “Bharat.”⁣
