Wow really mind blowing Nature style planted aquarium Very good quality established plants All without no carbon dioxide emissions I am fond of this aquarium and this system.
On the glass. That is just simple green spot algae not BGA/Cyano. Cyano has more of a blueish color and has a slimy look to it. Beautiful tank though. 💚💚
I have not calculated the cost as there are many plants that are reused from scape to scape and some I buy new. Plus I have maintenance videos where I have depicted exactly how I change the water and what all tools I use for maintenance. ua-cam.com/video/Z7V3xHvE0kE/v-deo.html
Nope they don’t but there are a few plants that will need high light so they need to be placed nearer to light source plant like pinnatifida ( in my experience )
There are many sites that are selling woods online but you will have to search them on google as I am not sure of one specific website as I always like to personally select my hardscape
I’d be interested to know what your water quality is like. Do you use RO or straight from tap? How do you treat the water, if at all, regarding fertilizers and/or mineral salts?
I use RO water… I do not remineralise it… fertiliser used is Tropica Specialised Nutrition 4 ml ( 2 squirts ) after every weekly water change of 30 to 40%…
I don’t use liquid co2. Actually there is nothing like liquid co2. It’s basically an algaecide. If you actually want to add co2 than you should go for a proper co2 system or you can opt for a DIY co2.
All my fears have been answered in this video, thanks great job, great skills.

Yes it’s 2 feet size
Oh wow that’s a lot of kinds plants used! Wondering, where did you purchase them? And overall how much did this scape cost?
Also, a video or comment on your waterchanging equipment would be nice, like on how you refill the tank, how the siphon system works, etc
