    "Gotcha-Rick".
Not unusual to hear bassist F Chopper Koga compared to Flea from the RHCP.
    Not a bad thing.
She's the only member that doesn't really sing, although she does some screaming.
There's also a side project called DOLL$BOXX (Doll's Box) which consisted of the Gacharic Spin musicians along with Fuki (from Unlucky Morpheus, etc) as the lead singer.

“Ga-cha-ri-ku-Su-pi-n”. “Ga-cha-pin” for short. They’ve been around for 14 years in various configurations. The band was founded by bassist F-CHOPPER KOGA and blue-haired drummer HANA.
The song is about rejecting the pressures, restrictions, and expectations Japanese society places on young women.

I've heard them pronounce the group name as Ga Cha REEK Speen... LOL. How ever it's pronounced, no one can deny these ladies are VERY talented. I love Hana, on drums... but she also plays keyboards and guitar. And if I am not mistaken, she is the oldest in the group at I think I read 36...

I can't help but dance every time I listen to this song. It's just so damn funky. This band is unbelievable in their talent. I absolutely love Hana. Her ability to play drums, sing and now play guitar (she shreds btw) is on another level. Now that you've found this gem you need to check out the video for "I wish I" or the live performance of "Tamashii". They will blow your mind. And also, check out Doll$Boxx, a Gacharic Spin side project collab featuring Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus on vocals. Absolutely insane.

    おめでとう!君も今日からガッチャマンの仲間だ。
Conglutinations, you are a member of Gatchaman. They nickname their male fans "Gatchaman" a Japanese Anime Hero.
They officially said Gacharic-Spin means A high-speed SPIN sound created by 4 GACHA-GACHA musicians.
GACHA is one of the Japanese mimetic onomatopoeias, usually used as GACHA- GACHA. It means that the collision of hard objects, the loud noises when it occurs, or messy, chaotic, disorderly situations. GACHARIC is a new Japanese English word that they created by combining this Japanese word GACHA with the English suffix RIC. Of course, it is not found in either the Japanese dictionary or the English dictionary.

Great reaction, the band’s name btw is pronounced as gotcha-rick spin and the name came from gachapon it’s like a vending machine with toys and you don’t know what you’ll get which translates to the bands music, which you don’t know what you’ll get,as they play a variety of styles of rock.Check out the mv of “I Wish l” from the same self titled album as MindSet and get your mind blown.

Great reaction...one thing I'll say about Gacharic Spin, especially as you dig deeper into their catalog, is they are easily the most unique and inventive band out there. Try and stick a label on them, and within a week they'll have moved somewhere else, and they always handle that chosen direction with skill and relentless energy. Such an amazing group.

The keyboardist does sing. She will do a solo bit here and there, but mostly it's backing. However, I think she has the best voice in the band.

It feels a bit like Suicidal Tendencies side project Infectious Grooves. That bass, to me, has the power Rob Trujillo had in Infectious. In any case this band is awesome. There's so much talent coming out of Japan, its insane! Female talent. I wish we encouraged you girls with the music clubs they have in Japanese schools. Has anyone else noticed with these female bands the first thing we're awed by is the musical talent. Sexualizing the girls isn't needed to grab your attention. No azzes and tiddies hanging out. If anything they promote a "cute" image and even if it sexy, its a tasteful sexy that's still is second to the music. I wish my young girls would look up to these girls instead of a Nicki Minaj or Cardi B. Now I have nothing against those 2 artist. They are talented and successful in their own right. I just don't feel its an appropriate image for a pre-teen trying to find her confidence and self worth).
