i’ve never had children and at 45 I don’t plan to have any yet i just watched an hour long video reviewing baby items and loved every minute of it . The way she smiles when she looks at you is absolute magic. you are so blessed.
The nail buff is definitely something I find new parents feel better using because they’re so afraid of the paper-light nails, but once you’re a seasoned mom there’s no need for it and we’re comfortable just using clippers 😂
Thank you for sharing. My youngest is 19 so some of the items were not available then but I know have 2 grandsons so you gave me some great ideas. I really think I need to check out the diaper cream and the ointment you shared. I love seeing Violet and how she observes everything. ❤
Thank you for posting this video. It's enjoyable, entertaining, and informative. This Alaska life is my favorite videos to watch. I enjoy watching your family grow.
I was a young mother that would have come in as a super comfortable wrap for me my son is 53 years old my other son is 37 times have certainly changed I'm so happy for you that you have a healthy sweet Violet God bless you and Mark and all your boys
OMG!!!!!!! The tip of Luna’s tail just started wiggling across the bottom of the tv screen and scared me to death…I thought it was something in my room 😮 (need I say what?!!!)
These videos make my day, whatever subject you talk about is full of information and plus we get to see our smiling Violet, just a great way to start my day❤
It's nice she has big brother who Love her so much. It was nice you showed all the baby stuff that you liked and didn't like . My youngest child is 36 now my youngest grandson is 22 . Right now I don't need any baby supplies. I hope one day I will have great grandbabies. I would love to be holding a baby again. . Thank You for sharing all the great information with us Prayers 🙏 and Love 💜 From Ginger
Hi Lauren, loving the long video , and the very knowledgeable information for someone thats having a new little baby ❤..Violet is so beautiful, She's looking more and more like Everett everyday . Thanks for another video . Your one of my favorite UA-camr . Love sent from Kentucky ❤❤
Listen, I am 76 years old, and I loved 🥰 this video.!! I had my first little one when I was just 19. You wouldn’t believe what we all didn’t have from your wonderful video. We still survived, but I do remember that there were so many things that we thought were amazing that we couldn’t get either, because they were so expensive. I just really enjoy and love ❤️ your videos. As I have said in your past videos, I admire you , Mark and your whole family. I know things go on off camera, but your boys are so sweet with baby Violet, and Violet is such a good girl on film. So happy. You can’t get babies 👶🏻 to be so happy on camera, but Violet is an exception. I loved the pumping part. I couldn’t get my 1st one to breast feed 😳😱 for the world! You have helped many young women today. ❤️
Love these ideas when I may have grandchildren someday. Like you, I purchased a dresser with a changing pad on top instead of wasting money on a changing table. I still use the dresser.
I just love watching the boys with Violet. It is so obvious how much they love and adore her, and she them. Even when she's not been happy I've noticed they can go to her and make faces, jump around, or pick her up, and the next thing is Violet laughing. It really warms my heart every time I see their interactions with her, especially since it's not because they have to but because they want to. Lauren, you and Mark are truly such amazing parents, and watching the boys interact with Violet and with each other, makes just how amazing very apparent. Seeing all of you doing things together, whether it is cooking, cleaning, camping, taking a walk or hike, or fishing, is really awesome to see. Unfortunately, it seems like the majority of children today do nothing outside. Instead they spend any free time holed in their rooms on some electronic device. I absolutely love your videos, and really look forward to them.
I wish they would have had that cradle cap product when I had one of my girls! Hers was terrible and took forever to get rid of. I'm done having children, but this will be helpful when/if my girls decide to have kids in the future.
Hey Lauren 👋 may I say, Miss Violet is growing sooo fast and nice to see her hair is coming in dark. She is also becoming very vocal. She is indeed a precious little princess. Big hugs to you all and God Bless 😘🤗🎀🐾
Will you be doing a Q&A for you and baby Violet ? my question would be if you had to use only one adjective for each of your children as a baby what would it be? my mom did this with her 7 kids, we laughed.... quiet, sassy, crabby etc.
I love that idea. I could answer that in a heartbeat about my daughter as a baby "miserable" thankfully she grew up and grew out of that but it lasted a very long time 😂
I’m so glad you have a link or it listed. Because my grandson is 4, he’s autistic and still in pull-ups. That’s one thing that’s been really hard to get him to go potty. And he has several different skin issues at times.
I wish I could have been a mother. With my niece, we used a bulb aspirator, little blue rubber thing with a long tip, to remove the congestion. Some of these items weren’t around back then but seem very useful! I am certain these great recommendations will help many. I was a classics major in college and Ceres is the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Demeter, agriculture, motherhood, etc. You pronounce it like SEER-ease.
I love seeing these from seasoned moms vs first time moms. I love love your impupt especially on the pumps. I used the Medela pump and go as well. I have also used the Lansino Descreet Douo brest pumps and I really think the strength is comparable to my Medela. Not all hands free pumps are created equally and I have heard that the momcozy ones aren't the greatest. Also Milk Moms online is amazing for milk information and helping with what your insurance covers as far as pumps, milk bags, and post partum recovery items.
Such an informative vlog! I’m not in the baby mode but still found it interesting! You’re a very prepared mom! Little ones take a lot of things…but it’s mostly for mom, right!🙏🏻💞🙏🏻💞
So many great products. Thank you for sharing this. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend are trying for their first baby. I'll keep these products in mind. As far as hooded baby bath towels, my youngest granddaughter had 2 that she used as security blankets.
💜Hi Lauren. Loved this. Thank you for sharing your opinion on these items. I am going to share with another family about the Tubby Todd to see if they have tried it. Their little girl has eczema pretty bad. Sending love, hugs 🤗 and prayers your way. Take care💜
Thank you for sharing! Its refreshing to see a more relatable mom talk about her loves and regrets with baby gear. I just had my first baby Sept. 18th and am figuring my way through all the needs and don'ts. My daughter came 5 weeks early so seeing opinions on gear for smaller babies was helpful.
She is going to be left handed, Yea!❤️ we had four children and two are left-handed into or right handed mom and dad are left-handed. You have a beautiful family and Violet is favoring her baby brother.
A very thoughtful video. Thank you for sharing. Violet has a healthy appetite. She's an absolute doll! She sure loves her brothers too. Miss Luna is very mindful of Violet now, so sweet. Really enjoyed watching this. You and your family have a wonderful day 😊. 💜from AR.
My daughter is expecting our first grandchild in 2 months so I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for taking your time to make it. Your family is so wonderful!❤
Hi Luna! Hugs to you. I wish you were around for my son. 34 now, I thought I am getting all the great stuff and use only the best. Reality was a hard slap. I would say that 90% was using simplified items and just basics. This video will really help a ton of new moms. Thanks for doing this. Hugs.
Grandma here. I bought the spatula for diaper cream.. the baby uses it to chew on as a teether! LOL we never used it for diaper cream. It's funny how each baby is different with bottles. We used playtex droppin's for most of the grandsons but one had reflux and wound up with Dr Browns wide neck glass bottles! I agree the graco pack n play was ehh. I won a 4 Mom's Breeze Go play yard. Loved it so much better. Wet bags are amazing we used Smartbottoms and Thirsties ones. Thank you for sharing this video! Violet is adorable and looks a lot like her brother Everett!
how long does it last the cooler and warmer? Lol. I am not a huge pumper but yes i did some but i will usually breastfeed and supplement the whole time. I did have a portable warmer that i used and just worked perfectly for my babies. You can just insert your regular baby bottle and plug it in! It works in the car too and plug it in, i think!!!
You are always so sweet and considerate to want to help out where you can. This is so useful to new moms to have the extra info and explination about these products. Miss Violet is definately well taken care of without forgetting yourself and what works for you. She looks like the happiest baby with that cute smiley face !! ♡
At 66 I am expecting my first grandchild, baby Charlotte. I took notes 😀. Thank you! Your family is just so wonderful, you and Mark are great parents to all your children.
Just luvvv watching your videos, my children are all grown and gone on with their own lives...breast fed them..sure of wish I had some of those handy items when they were babies...your family brings so much joy!😊
I still have lil tikes folding high chair it buckles to any chair n has tray or u can set on table or floor. I always did chair cause I was afraid of it tipping n made sure it was strapped we did us last summer on my lawn with my great niece my niece I want to feed her outside so I gave her blanket n the lil tikes n it sat perfectly n did not tip. it's like 34 years old I was given it for my son who is 35 now wow I've had that along time n have used with my grandkids n oh I still have actual high chair I bought for my 19yr old grandson lol itsin garage in blk trash bag . I still have 3 kids with no kids so I'll keep it . we have 19 grands n 3 great grands so nvr know when I'll need again, plus we have nieces n nephews have babies n wr can use when they visit
I was curious if you have been to Once Upon A Child thrift store 🤔🤔 Maybe you can take us there in one of you’re videos.🤔🙏 I seen it briefly on UA-cam.🤗🤗🤗
I’m seeing a lot of Everett in Violet’s face. Especially her eyes & smile. Before you know it she’ll be the “Sample Queen”.
That's so funny
@@lisasaracino4048 you know what I think Everett is the one I was thinking of but put Wesley
Lauren you have spoilt us with a movie length video! Always makes my day brighter seeing Violet's sweet smiles 💜
Violet looks like Everett, she's just so cute
Omg I have no reason to watch this 😂 I think watching you just makes me relaxed for some reason.
Same!!!!!!
I agree
Same..my kids are 21 & 23 😅 just love to learn about new baby trend
It’s great seeing Violet grow and become more animated and smiley. Kids grow so quickly!

Violet's smiles and laughs every time anyone looks at her, especially her family-- so endearing!

Plain old fashioned corn starch works great for diaper rash.

Added that wipe dispenser to my Amazon cart, thank you! Wipes are always drying out😮. Not just for babies😊. Love from Ohio.

Great video!!!
@susanworrell8141 she has had 5 pregnancy's and 6 babies
Right but she is a mom of 6@@reese0812
I think it's better left to her as to how to tell about her children, however she chooses to.

I thought someone was popping in to say hello lol.
I think I’ve heard the bath chair can be flipped over for bigger babies that can sit. Don’t quote me but I heard it on some tictok hack video ❤️

Another tip - some of the things are only used for a short time -if you have friends with babies - good idea to trade with them.
