Honestly my main issue with this entire thing, and him wielding it later, is his character arc just does nothing to set that up in a believable way. He starts off with good intentions and some mild character flaws and fine, if you really want to he can move it a little in AoU, but his character development is just a steady spiral downwards in terms of making stupid, selfish decisions and becoming more arrogant and self-centered as Phase 2 and 3 go on. I just don’t see how anything there moves him anything but further away from “worthiness“, whatever the standard. So it just feels absurd and forced to have him be able to wield the hammer later on.

That said, it is a little silly that Cap can't get a place. Though it's possible that a) he doesn't actually get paid all that much and b) coming back from the dead has fucking his credit rating. Shit like that is unmercifully consequential.
Oh, and throw in the likely hike in insurance costs for having an Avenger (likely to attract vengeful enemies and whatever) crashing in the building and it stops being a matter of _just_ money. Can't pay enough rent to be worth that kind of risk.

The Hulk Buster armour is not his default armour coz its inefficient against anyone except Hulk. It sacrifices Mobility, Speed and Agility just to enhance Strength. The whole purpose of the armour is to defeat Hulk (which it did in this movie). But for Alien Invasions and cosmic threats, Iron Man's standard armours are way more useful. I mean just look at the Wakanda battle in Infinity War, the War Machine armour probably killed 10-20 times more enemies than the Hulk Buster did

So now Hulk is just a pure rage monster running around. And he gets stronger the madder he gets and thus was eventually able to lift Mjolnir.

People that swear up and down that Cap was only "half worthy" in that AoU scene and that's why it only moved a tiny bit. And that he was only "half worthy" becuase he was keeping the secret from Tony about Bucky killing his parents. All I could do was shake my head and laugh. For starters, Cap keeping that secret, for his LIFELONG best friend who he's known for literally 100 years and only killed Tony's parents becuase he was being brainwashed by Hydra, would NOT make him unworthy to weild Mjolnir. He barely knew Tony, and from what Cap could see, he was an arrogant and pompous blowhard. Of course he'd choose to defend Bucky. And second, your worth and value doesn't come from wether or not you have any secrets. I highly doubt that Thor has been 100% honest with every single person in his life. I garuntee Thor himself has a secret or two. Doesn't make Thor unworthy to use the hammer. And third, you're absolutely right. Caps power did not come from the serum that made him a super soldier. He could have lifted Mjolnir even back when he was puny, skinny, weak Steve Roger's before the serum. Becuase he has ALWAYS been pure of heart and noble. Cap didn't lift it out of respect for Thor and not having any interest in showing off in front of everyone. He's just that humble. Joss Whedon AND the Russo Brothers have both confirmed this. He was always worthy.

There isn’t one sin removed for how badass ultron is. He’s got some pretty damn chilling lines and incredible character building

Darius Peyton Yea. Magneto would have checkmated Ultron so hard that honestly he would have been begging for the punishment to stop. I could see it now, he would be causing Ultron to smack himself over and over, and Magneto would be like "quit hitting yourself, why are you hitting yourself?" Just continually hitting himself until it was just wires and broken metal. But then again that was no ordinary metal, the punishment would last forever i think.

I thought that bit was a little funny. I also totally missed that Vision handed Thor's hammer to him. It was the only the audience's laughter that made me realize how funny that was. I'm not always the most observant, but I like that bit of the hammer measuring contest. :p
I think the steve could move the hammer.. Thats why he was able to budge it(u cant budge.. U can either move it or not.. U cant be ALMOST worthy).. Maybe he realised this and intentionally didnt do it so as to not cause discontentment

Always found it funny that Ultron built his robots with a heart, as though it needed internal mechanical organs.
Some of these "sins" are just cinemasins forgetting parts of the movie I swear 🤔 Most of it is explained or heavily implied. Not everything has to be handed to the viewer like a baby 😂

Maybe it's a specified magnet. And yes, it's okay for me to employ a non-existent magnet. This is after all, a non-existent metal.
+Cameron Worgan, If the Ultron-bots were magnetic, then they could have all been easily defeated by an giant magnet. Only Iron, Nickel, Cobalt, and Gadolinium are affected by magnetism, so Ultron probably just used Aluminum or Titanium. Cap's sheild, on the other hand, probably has a steel plate bolted to the back specifically for his magnet-gloves.
I'm a little mad that he didn't mention how awesome Ultron's first lines were

They sin jokes and sin the movie for missing an opportunity for a joke. They can do whatever they want
Captain America has electromagnets on one of his gloves which enables him to the "call back his shield".
Then I guess the sin would be: why didn't he use that before
MrTomyCJ Because Tony Stark obviously hadn't made the magnets for Cap before Age of Ultron.
The big question is how aren't other objects attracted to it, too? I mean, he recalled his shield while it was lodged inside a robot, and even if it was unrealistically light, the same magnetic force would affect some other things. Let's say Iron Man's suit is too heavy to budge, somehow. Hawkeye's arrows, if shot nearby, would be largely interrupted, probably to the point of just sticking to the magnet.
Actually, I'd like to see that in Avengers Infinity War, with Cap using the arrow to defend himself in some way.

SIGA Well, magnets only have so much range. So when his shield fell off the truck, the shield was much too far to retrieve. That's my guess, anyway.

... and while she was doing it, she wasnt performing her mission, guarding the doohickey. She's like a cat, she always runs after the laser pointer. Otherwise she'd be _almost_ as OPd as Capt Marvel; look how she almost shredded Thanos in "Avengers: the six-hour movie you have to pay to see twice to see it once".

2:20 - Nope, you can ignore the tv show. Winter Soldier already showed that Hydra had infiltrated SHIELD, so they had access to anything SHIELD had.

4:11 - Iron Man 2 showed us that "Drones are bad" yet Tony created JARVIS - Did he have the hubris to think he's the only one who can make AI? Or the humility to make drones that are easily defeated non-militant?

7:26 - Clearly does not understand how Iron Man works. Hulkbuster is big, slow, and can't fly. Sometimes it's more than you need when you need speed, maneuverability, agility and flexibility. That's why he invented a suit that comes to him in pieces.
7:46 - Hulk just wants to be left alone, just because he can't control his anger doesn't mean he wants to hurt people.
8:03 - Fury doesn't trust anyone. The fact that he has a secret second id for his busted up eyeball proves he can keep things off the books.
13:56 - Just cause they're easy to defeat one at a time, doesn't mean they can't do damage to you en masse.
14:18 - Hawkeye's humility recruits Scarlet Witch and *doesn't* create Ultron or turn him into a giant rage monster. He's ahead of a lot of the Avengers.

14:54 - They *DID* explain it. She has telekinesis and telepathy, which she's been using all movie!

"TV shows never impact the films" ...yeah well Age of Ultron certainly seems to make more sense if you watch Agents of SHIELD, so....sure there's no direct mentions of Coulson's team or what happened in the show, but there's an entire story arc in the show that sets up both the opening assault on Strucker's base & the existence of that new Helicarrier

@@Tkieron and no one does. The whole point is to expand and enhance the overall world/universe, and flesh out other characters & events beyond what you see in a 1.5-3 hour film. The MCU is entirely set up so every movie can be enjoyed as a standalone experience ( the only major exceptions being Infinity War & Endgame which are essentially 2 halves of a bigger story ) and the shows largely focus on smaller scale stories that may tie in to other events in a way. You get a bigger picture of the universe and characters if you watch it all but you can still enjoy any single movie without needing to watch every other movie and/or any shows.

So many of these are explained so clearly in this movie.
- SHIELD was in possession of Loki's sceptre. When Strucker was told he was a HYDRA agent, he said "technically I'm SHIELD" -- refering to the fact that HYDRA had infilitrated SHIELD. So clearly, Strucker was a higher-up in SHIELD who took possession of the Sceptre. But when Widow leaked all the info on SHIELD (including HYDRA), he bailed with the staff.
- Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver VOLUNTEERED to be experimented on by Strucker to avenge their parent's death at the hand of Stark's weaponry. It was said so in this movie.
- By this time, SHIELD no longer exists so the Avengers are not working for a government agency.
- Hulk tried to lift the hammer in the previous Avengers movie. He failed. It's not a matter of strength, but worthiness as determined by Odin.
- Cap's pulling back his shield using magnets. This was done earlier in the movie too
There's a bunch of sins that were skipped, though.
- Yeah just show JARVIS being killed by through projections representing them, as if it wasn't obvious enough from the dialog that JARVIS is getting destroyed
- Robot body just so happens to have a bit of hardware resembling a heart where a human heart would be
- Tony Stark, who during the events of Iron Man only had one (or two) major inventions (the arc reactor and a miniature of it), suddenly invents Nobel prize winning technology in all kinds of scientific disciplines twice per movie because it's convenient to the plot.

Some can perhaps be forgiven when you consider that you'd have to remember parts of previous movies. Why didn't Thor take Loki's scepter with him back to Asgard when the team defeated him in The Avengers? He took the Tesseract with him but not the scepter/ staff thing with the mind stone in it? SHIELD kept it? One of the things Thor kept preaching about in that movie was how the Tesseract was dangerous and shouldn't be left in the hands of humans but he forgets about the specter? Lol. A major sin and plot hole but I guess the events in this movie and Civil War wouldn't be possible. Smh.

I actually thought this film was really underrated, it's just as good as the first one (which only has increased geek value because of the fact it was the first proper team up film). Great set pieces, deeper characters, a solid script, granted Ultron could have been a tad more evil but aside from that it's still a pretty damn fun film.
Also c'mon Cinema Sins, you used to be good at finding actual flaws, but willingly ignoring information in the film to try and get a sin is just cheap. Sort it out.

It has flaws. But I wouldn't call it a bad movie. Frankly I thought both the Avengers movies were about equally enjoyable (first one's a little better, but not by a whole lot), but the first one was over-rated (when you get down to it the majority of the movie is centered on one long fight scene), while the second one is underrated (which I think boils down to a lot of people just being more willing to pick this one apart than the first.)
In other words. First one was very good and surprised us enough that we were less aware of the flaws. But since the second one was slightly less good, we were more willing to pick it apart and point out all its flaws than we were with the first one.

Even before Endgame, it was obvious how HYDRA got the Scepter. Obviously S.H.I.E.L.D. would have taken the Scepter after the first Avengers, and we know that HYDRA was within S.H.I.E.L.D. That sin was pointless.
best part of the film is when hulk jumps into the plane to attack Ultron, and with the tone of annoyance Ultron just says "oh for God's sake!"

Here's why the Avengers couldn't assemble until now:
Iron Man 3: Thor was restoring order to the Nine Realms which by Asgardian standards trumps Earth problems, Banner was trying to keep himself from Hulking out since he can still barely control himself without collateral damage, and when shit hit the fan Cap was on the other side of the country and would have to take a jet that would get there too late. Plus 50+ Iron Men were on hand.
Dark World: Stark was recovering from surgery to remove his heart shrapnel, again Banner refused to go green for bystanders' sakes, and shit hit the fan in England which would take Cap even longer to get there (not being able to fly seems to be Cap's Kryptonite).
Winter Soldier: Chalk it up to SHIELD being so incredibly compromised that the other Avengers had to hear about it on the news.
The HYDRA base was worth assembling for because they had Loki's staff. Last time it was in the wrong hands all it took was a few scientists to make New York into Thanos's bitch. Imagine what HYDRA would do with that kind of power.

Iron Man 3 had its own problems: Tony swore off all his work and then made Ultron, a direct contradiction to what he said earlier. No one reacted to or noticed Aldtrich Killian or the Mandarin's work.
Dark World: London is destroyed by Dark Elves, granted that is Thor's problem but still, you've got an intergalatic event and no one noticed.
Winter Soldier: intelligence problems, granted Thor couldn't intervene and Tony's attempt to hack SHIELD in Avengers failed because HYDRA stopped him. This was never explained but the plot holes fill themselves, I guess.
For all the things that can make Banner Hulk out and for all the things Black Widow had to do during the fall of SHIELD, Hulk suddenly learned how to calm down?
I can see your point but at the same time there were so many issues where they *should* have assembled, but as the films are focused on different characters that's left to the studios to fix. Personally, Dark World and Iron Man 3 could have been written so much better.
Any plot holes in this film or the others are fixed in Agents of SHIELD - supposedly. I can't stand the acting or writing of that series, anyways.
+David Coyle Doesn't stop War Machine from helping out though. Even if he's not considered part of the Avengers (Which I think he isn't) but, he likely has no reason NOT to be there to help. Especially in Winter Soldier as that was happening on U.S. soil.

2:00 If you think that it's creepy that actors who played husband and wife in one movie play brother and sister in a later movie, in one version of the Avengers comics, the characters that they are playing are brother and sister but also lovers.
Am I actually the only person who sees how much bullshit Quicksilver dying was? Here's a few of the reasons that death was stupid:
1. In the amount of time it took him to get hit by the bullets, he could have just picked up and moved Hawkeye and that kid out of the way.
2. He could have just knocked all of the bullets out of the air, OR, if his powers don't work like that, (which we have evidence to believe they do) he could have picked up something more bullet proof and used that to block the bullets

- Those were droids, not suits.
- Those are batons, not tazer knives.
- Hulkbuster is not the default armor because it is designed, obviously, to fight Hulk in case he goes out of control and it'is too big to access human sized facilities.
- "Movie suggest that even in Hulk mode, Banner is somehow able to see and feel sorrow for his terrible Hulk actions." It was shown in the first Avengers' film that Banner was able to control and be aware of what's happening around him during Hulk mode. This is not a surprise nor confusing.
- SHIELD was compromised but not all their assets.
