Dustin Reid I have a pretty extended family of doctors, they share stories and seriously, Ruby Noir is right, caring about the individual that you are operating on in the OR is very distracting and can cause a SHIT TON of problems. Also, if the doctors stopped bantering, most of the time that means something unexpected and hard to deal with suddenly appears, and they need to be extra focus. Always wish your doctor(s) have a good chat and plenty of bantering in the OR during your operation, that means everything went so smooth and they can just relax.

I'm no doctor but I've studied martial arts my entire life. I've been a fighter and a professional gamer. You could say that I've pretty much spent my whole life mastering this topic. This is something that is deceptively simple and yet, very difficult to explain. People tend to think of meditation as this strange, abstract concept but it's actually something everyone does on a regular basis. The first and, probably the most important step to good focus is to remove yourself from the situation. When fighting or gaming you don't wanna be thinking about what a loss will cost you or how hurt you're going to be. Likewise if you're doing surgery to literally save a person's life thinking about that topic would destroy your concentration. So you focus on the task at hand and forget about life's concerns. At the same time you don't wanna focus TOO much or you risk kind of hypnotizing yourself. Sound is the best way to do both of these things. Personally I've always found music distracting. I like white noise and simple conversation but, I could see music working fine for other people. I didn't wanna write a friggin book here but, again, it's a simple concept that is difficult to explain. :)
@Dustin Reid when your surgeons are relaxed and having a good chatter that means everything is going well. If you want docs in dead silence or distress, go ahead.

I think you are going to be disappointed when you learn that actual surgeons do listen to music, chat about the kids with the nurses,... that's how they survive long ass surgeries. Oh and sometimes they even go out for a sandwich or coffee. So yeah, music trivia might not seem so bad right?
That only further highlights how much of a douche Strange is being when he tells the guy in the adjoining room to cover his watch because the ticking is too loud though right?
Everyone is different. Although I've never had someone's life in my hands in that way, in some of the most difficult and horrible situations I've had in my life, I've needed that light hardheartedness in the midst of it all just to get me through it. Also on a completely unrelated note, I've had a relatively minor surgery (not dealing with major organs, no real risk of death or anything life altering) and it STILL took 4 hours. Can't imagine how exhausting it would be to perform a high risk surgery that takes that long (some take longer!). I say the surgeon can do whatever they want as long as it helps them, and me, through it.
Doctor here. Practiced in 3 different continents. Surgeons not only play music, but also curse like a sailor while operating (sometimes they forget the patient is only knocked out from the waist down and can hear everything), and when they're closing they order food to eat after the procedure is done. TL;DR: If you do the same thing for years, it becomes second nature and you can multitask while doing a good job.

1. Every surgeon I've met does music trivia when they do surgery, it's kind of a thing. 2. As someone else mentioned and explained (almost correctly), the spinning watch drawer is to wind the mainspring of his watches as they were all mechanical time pieces. However! They were laying flat, so the rotor wouldn't actually spin and wouldn't charge the mainspring at all, that's the real sin. Real watch winders are usually upright, slanted at most.
Endgame spoilers: Actually some of the sins added here were answered in Endgame, like for instance why can't the sorcerers also protect against physical threats, in Endgame we see the Ancient One fight during the battle of New York. Also, the one about accepting anyone at Kamar Taj. The Ancient One already knew that Strange would be crucial, they didn't let him in just because he showed up at their door. They saw him coming
@@empressawesome1655 Spoiler for Endgame! (just to be sure) Well even in Endgame she is surprised about a decision from Dr Strange. Maybe what she sees are just possibilities and she lost faith in Dr. Strange? Or maybe she planned to do so to influence his psyche.
It's actually really sad. When Bruce Hulk was talking to the Ancient One she most definitely knew there were timelines where she lived... but none of them involved beating Thanos. She had to actively choose death for Dr. Strange to succeed based solely on the fact that, even though her death prevented her from seeing the future beyond her demise, Dr. Strange had a sliver's chance to defeat Thanos and save the universe.
I have to admit, this Wifi-Password-Joke had me laughing so hard when i first watched the movie. Like if you shared that experience. And comment if you have something interesting to comment on this.
@@slevinchannel7589 It probably would have, had I not seen it in the trailer like 4 times before seeing it in the actual movie. But yeah, it was pretty damn good. Just like mostly all of this movie imo.
2:53 Those are mechanical watches, which do not run on electricity. Hence in order for them to work they must be constantly worn so as to "charge" them. Since he can't wear 25 watches simultaneously, he decided to own a mechanical watch winding drawer. Those rotating watches are actually being wound for future use and maintenance
@Auristella zarate actually most proper watches as rolex, omega or other swiss watches are automatic, because it is the most accurate and reliable movement available, but also because of the history and mechanic beaut put into every automatic watch.
I sat in on a heart surgery as an intern a long time ago. The surgeon was blasting Nirvana the whole time. We were listening to Smells Like Teen Spirit and holding a dude's heart. It was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life.
This video is old and I’m not usually one to do this. HOWEVER! Those watches are all on spinning mechanisms on his drawer because they’re powered by a kinetic electricity system that stores power from movement when it’s worn and eliminates the need for a battery. They’re all on little spinning mechanisms because it’s doubtful he can wear them all often enough to keep them charged.
7:18 - Wait hold up no! No! That's the whole schtick with Dr. Strange. He has a completely eidetic memory, as soon as he sees a motion, he can replicate it forever. The only thing that troubled him was focusing his energy in the exact way to get the mystic arts to work, because he had never done that. Once he did it the first time, he, in the comics, was sorcerer supreme within months, because he only had to see each movement once, amd he could determine, based on the power of the spell, what amount of mystic power was required for it. The movie is not cheating, it is a central point of Dr. Strange as a character, and why The Ancient One not only know of his arrival years beforehand, but points out that Strange is the greatest Sorcerer Supreme that has ever lived, currently lives, and will ever live. 12:40 - yes, the cape is sentient and has the power to save Strange's life. But, while the cape is mystically bonded to him, it doesn't particularly *like* him. The cape can see into the potential multiverse, similar to Strange in Infinity War. The best description is that it's kind of lazy, and chooses its actions or inaction based on what will lead to Strange's survival, but ultimately require the least amount of intervention on its own part.
Well to be fair, when Dr. Strange has that an amazing memory, why did he say "Years of it" when talking about his medical studies? I mean he kinda only needs to read a few of the books and then watch some surgeons perform successfully. Shouldn't take too much longer than the few months he needed to learn his new powers.
@@Schilani Because he knows every facet of medicine. He doesnt just have a single specialization like surgery, oncology, etc. He's an expert in the entirety of medicine. Even with a perfectly eidetic memory, that's still gonna take a lot of time.
@@SquishyTheTitan Well okay, fair enough. Also you have to add the useless stuff he still filled his brain with, like memorizing weird dates concerning song releases.
I agree with u and also he became a sorcerer supreme in months because of the dormamu ive Come to bargain scene because he was coming from other timelines where he had more time to train thats why every time dormamu killed him his attacks and defences were stronger it was minutes in real life but years for strange
It would have been nice if they'd explained your first point in the actual movie itself. Because the fact that he becomes the Sorcerer Supreme in like 3 months flat bothered the SHIT out of me.
Dude, surgeons irl play music in the surgery theate (generally the choice of the lead surgeon) and the only time they turn it off is when the main part of the operation is about to commence.
The "watch drawer" is actually a watch winder it keeps the watches in motion. This is done because if an automatic watch is set aside without movement, it stops. Now is it vain to have one? Probably not, but is it necessary to have that many watches? Most definitely not.
Joey Sung Aren't watches generally used for tracking time? If the user wears one for a reason other than that like showing off and looking cool, then it's vain.
@blipbloop No, I think it's fair to say that they're mainly worn for fashion. For most people looking at their phone is easy enough, and they don't really need a watch. The fact that they tell the time... is more of an excuse to justify wearing a shiny metal bracelet. Nobody wears pocket squares because they're concerned about hygiene. Granted, I can see that some people might wear watches for utility (can't think of any reasons off the top of my head though)- but watches are still symbols of vanity, the way I see it.
BlipBloop Don't you know? Cellphones predate watches by decades. Plus it takes a greater amount of time to look at your wrist than to just pull your phone. Also remember, some places don't allow you to enter with watches, but of course you can use your phone always and anywhere. All in all, of course watches are vain since they serve absolutely no purpose.
9:54 he broke the mirror dimension so that she could see him. He then went back inside the mirror dimension so that they would be invisible to everyone. This is explained in the movie.
@@dracothewarrior4316 They are, I think Ethan wrote it slightly wrong but either way Strange is still using magic to poke out of one dimension/plane into the normal plane of reality so she can see him.
14:36 You removed two sins for the ending then added two sins for a joke about yourself immediately after and thought we wouldn't notice? Well you thought WONG!
2:51 that's a watch winder. It's used to keep watches running that rely on you moving around with them on your wrist to wind them. They are not just spinning cause they can for dramatic effect.
i am okay with CS sinning for petty things but this got me to dislike the video. i'm not gonna let them sin for a thing they couldn't be bothered to do a 5 seconds research without disliking a video.
Well, okay Padawan, but that's like saying a car moves because you turn the motor on. There's more to your commentary than that! Let me have pity on your sorry ass and explain: The watches (supposedly) all have automatic movements, which means a pendulum-like weight on the movements swings back-and-forth, with the aid of gravity, to wind the mainspring. The help of gravity is at a minimum if all the watches are turning horizontally. Those watches need to be stored in an upright (vertical) position. The movie's prop master would have done better to do deep research into the HOW automatic watch winders do what they do, and WHY they do it that way.
Many of these sins are easily explained by “The Ancient One knew that.” Like you wondering why they accepted Dr Strange. She already knew he would show up and that he was worthy of being trained. And Mordo being in the marketplace at a verryyy convenient time and place. He was told to be there. Also in sin seven The Ancient One is clearly seen exiting the mirror dimension. She’s not invisible. Everyone can see her there. Was this not common knowledge?
0:56 They are pure fiery energy that she shaped into tangible blades... I'm pretty damn sure they will do damage and NOT of the holographic kind. 1:33 Part of Strange's character profile (pre-accident) is that he doesn't commit to patients that he deems "incurable" or "risky", mostly because he knows that if said patients die or he cannot help them, his reputation will tank. So... if you do decide to get your head examined, I'm sure you'll be fine with him as your surgeon. 2:02 No. When in a stressful or intense situation, one's hearing abilities can increase. Much like if you are being hunted down by someone who is standing right next to your hiding place; you start to hear your heart pounding in your ears and every sound around you (the creak of their footsteps, the shuffling of clothes, etc.) is amplified. Hence, this scene. 6:17 You're definitely missing the point. 6:34 First rule of fight club, don't talk about about fight club. 7:06 How? And, no. 7:18 One of Strange's characteristics is that he is very intelligent, stubborn, and determined. He is what they would call a "prodigy"; he is someone who has immense talent for the mystic arts and this shows by how quickly he is able to learn them. Add in the fact that he is determined to learn them and he's stubborn to all hell and back... yeah, no surprises here. 8:09 ... I'll admit my favorite part at weddings, or one of them, is watching the groom panic before the bride comes down the isle... Does this make me a sadistic person? 8:22 Well, there are quite a few people who would already label Strange as an asshole, but the apple... what is it with you and apples? 12:47 It's not. But, I know what is... 13:43 Yeah, what is wong with you? 13:53 No, bad CinemaSins! Wrong universe. 13:59 And, there are. The effects don't happen right after turning back time.

That's probably because you missed out on cinemasins. But also because cinema sins is the only one to say anything... I never really cared, regardless of eating a apple it doesnt make anyone look more evil. Just they're eating an apple... Which makes me wonder who really cares anyways?
After removing 2 sins for a great fight scene, he added 2 sins for not knowing what to say, but only did one ding. That is cinema sins in a nutshell 14:20
I mean, if I were the umpteenth movie that tries to pass off scenes barely linked to each other as "fate" without establishing "fate" as a strong presence in the movie, I probably wouldn't remind people about _Groundhog Day,_ a Harold Ramis rom-com that does what _Doctor Strange_ doesn't, where "fate" is the struggle of one character against an isolated hell until he arrives at what "fate" wants. Because _Doctor Strange_ wants to do all that with "magic exists", except "magic" in this movie is, secondarily, some moderately visually interesting effects sequences with no thematic weight, and the *_primary and overriding_* *definition of magic is* *_"swords and shields"_* ...which function like swords and shields in a wire-crew action movie.
That was literally an amazing scene in an other wise ok movie (IMO). But him saying about how creative it was is BS, cause not every hero has Dr. Strange's powers, so they can't do scenes like that more often. Superman and Hulk i.e, HAVE super strength, obviously, they are going to punch people. All the talk, I did really love that scene.
It was extremely creative on the writers' part. You have a character with near-limitless power, & they chose to have him troll the bad guy into submission. No, that exact scenario wouldn't have worked with any other character, but every character has some way you can flip what the audience expects to happen.
i mean strange just annoyed him into giving in, that was kind of weak way to get out of it in my opinion. why would a being like that get tired of killing strange over and over? you'd think they'd enjoy it
@@bossshun9 But Shuma Gorath hasn't be introduced in the MCU yet. Or are you talking about ep 1 of What if? I strongly doubt if it was Shuma because he seemed too weak there.
2:55 The spinning watches are in something called a winder. Automatic watches are wound by the motion of the wearer, but if you have a collection and want to keep them all running on time, you put them in a winding machine that keeps them moving, adding mechanical energy to the watch mechanism. But yeah, rich as blech.
The winding mechanism on watches only work if they are on vertical or leaning, turning them on horizontal position that slow will do nothing to wind the watches.
I think that the implication of why Christine could only see Strange in his astral form sometimes is that he entered the mirror dimension in the astral plane and used it to put his astral form in the physical plane, which you can see from the fragments around his waist when he was appearing to help Christine save his life
In response to the music trivia during surgery. I worked with a spine surgeon who would regularly blast death metal in the operating room. It was a treat watching a guy hammer cadaver bone into someone's neck while hearing the screams of what I would call...a cookie monster? Worked with an ortho doc that, no shit, had his surgical tech reach into his back pocket to get his iphone out so he could google the specs on the gamma nail he was inserting into someone's femur. The rep from the company that provided the nail was thrown out for not knowing those numbers. There's a reason other than pain that you're put to sleep during surgery.
I was in clinicals with the death metal surgeon. The other event, unfortunately, happened at the hospital I work at. That second surgeon was let go, for a string of policy breaches. Surgeons are hit or miss anywhere you go.

Gotta love how CInemaSins sins the movie for "playing fast and loose with the rules" in the whole astral-projection-fight-sequence. Did they not notice that Strange was OUTSIDE of the astral dimension to talk to his girlfriend, and INSIDE to fight the guy?
actually, the butterfly is the only thing that make sense in all these, there's a well known eastern story about a student fall asleep while cooking dinner, in his dream he turns into a butterfly and live through the whole life as that beautiful creature, when he waked up, the dinner wasn't even cooked through yet, so he get confused whether he is a human living in a butterfly's dream, or a butterfly living in a human's life, when strange try to understand the world in another angle, that butterfly is the perfect item for some zen ideas.
2017:*it opens the door to the marvel cinematic multiverse* 2020:*Wanda vision, doctors strange and the multiverse of madness, spider verse* This dude just predicted the damn future
The watches were spinning because they may have been kinetic watches also known as automatic watches if you don't move a kinetic watch enough it will stop telling time considering he had so many watches he probably couldn't wear them all in enough time for them to keep going so the spinning cases just makes everything much more convenient.
The whole Dr/Mr Strange thing is something I found quite funny because in some countries, when a doctor specialises and becomes a surgeon, his/her title usually isn't Dr anymore, it reverts back to Mr/Mrs. So depending on where you are, the Ancient one would have been quite right to call the surgeon Mr

@2:05 No. Strange is in the middle of removing a bullet from a man’s brain, a procedure which if done wrong could easily kill or permanently incapacitate him. The tension in the room is high, so high that everyone in the room is electing to remain silent, so silent that you could hear a pen drop, ergo Strange hears the watch ticking and has trouble concentrating as a result. It has nothing to do with Strange’s hearing.
he also gets stabbed in the chest and the incident was so damaging it was fatal and he technically died... he then gets stitched up and goes about fist fighting for the rest of the movie with no time to actually heal from a gapping whole in his chest.
I forget who said it, but someone mentioned that the watch ticking reminded strange that no matter what he did or how many people he saved, with time he will be forgotten
John Marston have you ever heard all the heart monitors and other monitors in an O.R? You could hear a pen drop, but it's no louder then the room itself. Maybe a little startling cause it's a sound that shouldn't be. But not louder

Endgame spoilers:
Actually some of the sins added here were answered in Endgame, like for instance why can't the sorcerers also protect against physical threats, in Endgame we see the Ancient One fight during the battle of New York.
Also, the one about accepting anyone at Kamar Taj. The Ancient One already knew that Strange would be crucial, they didn't let him in just because he showed up at their door. They saw him coming

The "watch drawer" is actually a watch winder it keeps the watches in motion. This is done because if an automatic watch is set aside without movement, it stops. Now is it vain to have one? Probably not, but is it necessary to have that many watches? Most definitely not.
ThatGuyIDK Well rich people can have as many cars as they want why not watches
I feel like any sort of watch is vain. It's for fashion. Doubly true if you have multiple watches.

Let me have pity on your sorry ass and explain:
The watches (supposedly) all have automatic movements, which means a pendulum-like weight on the movements swings back-and-forth, with the aid of gravity, to wind the mainspring.

But then it's still a plot hole if he does not wonder about it.

Add in the fact that he is determined to learn them and he's stubborn to all hell and back... yeah, no surprises here.

That was literally an amazing scene in an other wise ok movie (IMO). Superman and Hulk i.e, HAVE super strength, obviously, they are going to punch people. All the talk, I did really love that scene.
It was extremely creative on the writers' part. You have a character with near-limitless power, & they chose to have him troll the bad guy into submission. TheRandomness ._. I just typed that becuaee I was going to rant but lil kids have the right idea
Christian Faux woooosh
Still can't believe that Strange's super expensive sports car didn't have bluetooth.
Lamborghini huracan's DO in fact have bluetooth connectivity. The movie just failed to use it....
Meron so Cinemasins should add a sin for Strange not using it

I see what you did there.
EcchiRevenge have a reply you !
We all see what he did there, it wasn't exactly subtle.
The watches were spinning because they may have been kinetic watches also known as automatic watches if you don't move a kinetic watch enough it will stop telling time considering he had so many watches he probably couldn't wear them all in enough time for them to keep going so the spinning cases just makes everything much more convenient.
I literally paused the video to look for this comment.. yes..exactly! You would be great a cinemasins!
In other words, a watch winder.
@@anthonyshehata685 me too!

DING
The whole Dr/Mr Strange thing is something I found quite funny because in some countries, when a doctor specialises and becomes a surgeon, his/her title usually isn't Dr anymore, it reverts back to Mr/Mrs. So depending on where you are, the Ancient one would have been quite right to call the surgeon Mr
K: How long have you been at Kamar--Taj, mister...?
S: Doctor.
K: Mr. Doctor?
S: It's Strange.
K: Maybe. Who am I to judge?
It's possible Strange does have a doctorate's though, so he'd still be a doctor in that sense
I was going to comment that. A lot of doctors who become surgeons take pride in not being doctors anymore.
Kaitren why
That MCU multiverse prediction at 6:22 was spot on.

He sins the lack of a mask then sins the presence of a mask in the lack of a mask
Cinemasins wants to have its cake and eat it then have a portrait of the cake made and eat that.
The sin counter also goes from 11 to 13 to 13 again
Oh. My. Word. None of that made sense. Please stop.

Yeah, it's like, this channel is somehow not a beep-boop logic puzzle to solve but a lot of breezy walks back through movies with some hobbyist nitpicking and some jokes.
How could that be possible?
I must be lying. *Solve the robo-logic puzzle and save the world from this UA-cam channel!* *_Hundreds to low thousands of virtual likes await!_*

The title should be "Everything WONG With Dr. Strange In 15 Minutes Or Less".
Nah. The Wong in the video itself was enough.
Because, you know, two Wongs don't make a right.
Cyberrante2 you deserve a sin
This comment thread is just Wong.
I feel like I just took a Wong turn.
Give yourself 5 sins!
It has nothing to do with Strange’s hearing.
he also gets stabbed in the chest and the incident was so damaging it was fatal and he technically died... he then gets stitched up and goes about fist fighting for the rest of the movie with no time to actually heal from a gapping whole in his chest.
you obviously have never been in the or
I forget who said it, but someone mentioned that the watch ticking reminded strange that no matter what he did or how many people he saved, with time he will be forgotten
John Marston it shows how steady his hands were once and how bad they got
John Marston have you ever heard all the heart monitors and other monitors in an O.R? You could hear a pen drop, but it's no louder then the room itself. Maybe a little startling cause it's a sound that shouldn't be. But not louder
The fact you said "the multiverse" 4 years Spider-Man NWH shows how much you really like Marvel
WELL actUally strange is able to learn faster because of his photographic memory. Having photographic memory makes learning new things 1000x easier.
Terrance Shaw then why am I failing math
Lugia Catster I don’t know....? random person online....??
Also because he learned Astral projection so he could study while sleeping
Wait... if you had that, you could also feel bored while sleeping, or you could have fun while sleeping, so it could either make your life way better or way worse. Wait... he passed through a wall and is still able to read and grab a book while sleeping? Can he choose when to make his hand solid? Add this to the list of sins!
Can confirm. Having an eidetic memory makes studying a lot easier.
I can't believe you didn't call this video "Everything Strange With Doctor Strange".
LittleKaraChan alternatively, Everything WONG with Doctor Strange
LittleKaraChan everything strange with dr. wrong?
That would be a sin.

“Or am I missing the point? I’m probably missing the point.”
Adds a sin anyway
The watches spin because they're charged by physical movement. If you leave them motionless in a drawer, they lose time.
But spinning in the same plane as the watch face doesn't do anything. Real world automatic watch winders spin somewhat randomly.
das deep
Ya learn something new everyday...
Well I would guess, change of motion is what charges those clocks.
That regular spinning would only provide a little bit of centrifugal force.
But hey - maybe that would be enough to keep them charged.
But still, why does he have so many watches?!
I think you should sin the fact that Dormammu "hungers for Earth most of all". What's so special about Earth? Because it has an Infinity Stone? So does Asgard. So does Xandar. Come to think of it, why don't those worlds have Sanctums guarding them the way Earth does?
PaperbackWizard It's where Stan Lee lives.
PaperbackWizard Just because they don't have sanctums doesn't mean they don't have their own means of defense.
PaperbackWizard Its just humanity's ego. We as a species like to feel special. So it's why Earth is always so important to sci-fi villains and why religions act like higher powers specifically made and watch out for mankind.
PaperbackWizard i think he wants it because of the sanctums, it's like a challenge.
PaperbackWizard because people are delicious
6:20 this aged so fucking well lmaoooo
Yep
*HEY!*
Rotating watch drawers exist.
They keep self-winding watches going so you don't have to wear them everyday.
it's more of a sin the Stephen has one than the drawer itself
Uh... no
I'm guessing you've never owned a mechanical watch before. Please don'f flaunt your ignorance by mindlessly disagreeing with the truth.
Thank you! My father used to have one and I recognized the drawer full of them immediately.
nemo Square See some people, who have money to spend, enjoy old fashioned, vintage things, like self winding watches. It's the same reason people like old cars and manuals. Better quality, better period. So why don't YOU not flaunt your stupidity AND ignorance and leave this comment alone.
The watches aren't spinning for the looks of it there spinning because that's how you keep them wound up
Actually I didn't know that. I hadn't even heard of a mechanical watch that keeps it's charge via wrist movements until scrolling through the comments section(yes, I have nothing better to do). So when I first watched the film, yeah I thought he was just being flashy lol. Well, granted those are status pieces to begin with so he IS being flashy, just not in the way my mind went.
Correct. My father had a similar device, though with only five watches in it, which were of considerably lower value than the ones in the film. Those watches have a little weight inside the casing that drives a generator when it spins around due to changing positions of the watch. My father got rid of that winding machine though, because he couldn't stand our mocking comment s about it any more.
Thats actually true
I love automatic watches. I own 3 currently and plan on getting more. I searched the comments, just to see if someone else pointed out the watch drawer.
That's fucking brilliant.

5:53 actually the ancient one saw in the future that strange is going to be one of the gratest sourcerers, she said it in endgame so thats why she takes him in
When he took two sins off for the Dormamu scene, and I agree it is a brilliant scene, why was the next sin worth two?
He's done this many times in the past, takes away sins just to hand them back immediately. It's just another cliche of the channel at this point.
Doctor Doom trolololololololololololol
BIGhappyG33 Because life is hard
Cole Tan. Yes it is. We should totally kill ourselves.
You oughtta know by now that his rating standards are completely arbitrary
Thanks to CinemaSins whenever I see someone in a movie eating an apple I call them an asshole ... no one ever understands the reference but I giggle to myself
You sound like quite the comedian.
I'm always going "Roll credits! Ding." When I hear the titledrop in movies, TV shows, or anything. Sucks when watching Buffy. Sicne that's her name. =x
The director said "let's have your character turn time back on the apple it'll make you look even more of an a"
2:49 - Google 'Watch Winder' - they wind up ''automatic'' watches thanks to motion.
10:00 - As you can see around him, he 'allows' himself to be seen - there's a special broken glass-like aura thingy around him and he's slightly less transparent than before, we're supposed to understand that's how he shifts from one plane to another so that his astral form is visible in our plane. That's why he also goes 'back' through the broken glass-like stuff before he becomes invisible to the girl again
Yup, i fully wish i had a turning watch mount for my automatic watches, makes a lot of sense.
Not when they are horizontal like that in his drawer. The winder should be moving watches that are in vertical position for the automatic watches to wind. Otherwise, the pendulum will not be moving much especially in that slow speed.
Let me tell you this: Stop explaining shit in cinema sins comments. They don't care. They just need sins.
yeah like 65% of all the sins in any given one of their videos are either lazy or unwarranted. People NEED these comments to show others how shambolic CinemaSins really is
8:27 what do you mean
They spent roughly 3 seconds talking about another marvel movie
Stan Lee's cameos did kinda have a story, he was a watcher informant, present to witness the important events of the MCU.
I still think he was secretly the One Above All though.
damn, spoken like a true Marvel Comics fan.
See... but then he broke the rules of being a Watcher, which is to watch but not intervene in that one Spiderman movie where he says. "The suit always fits, eventually."
But that would make more sense if that were true.
DigiVixen it would? Half the time he’s not even paying attention to what’s going on around him.
I preferred him in Mallrats.
Nah, he's the watcher
