Honestly, if you consider Cursed Child canon (which i dont), Albus is literally a terrible son. Harry was incredibly mis-characterized, too. The Harry from the original series wouldn't act as he did in Cursed Child.
Don't name your kids after high-profile wizards (when you're already a 'Potter') and get rid of the sorting house system, that would fix a lot of problems...
Fair comment, but Harry literally puts the intensity of his childhood into Albus. We jump from Battle of Hogwarts to Off to School & D & M it’s “either Gryffindor or Slytherin & off you”

Pretty awful how everyone failed him, with that name and being sorted into that house... The housing system in particular has caused so much trouble, they should just get rid of it.

Molly has a granddaughter named after her. I believe it was Percy's kid. Also, Molly and Arthur Weasley have a very big family with a bunch of sons to remember them and carry on their legacy and their name: James, Lily, Sirius, Dumbledore, and Snape only had Harry to remember them and pass on their legacy.
It's really disappointing because Luna lovegood in the books. If I remember correctly, did do a lot for Harry but in the movies they made her role subpar. They made her roll like a very very minor character with very little rolls in the actual films which is disappointing because I really wish you would have had more screen time because she helped Harry to understand certain things during one of the darkest parts of his life after losing serious black because she had lost somebody as well. She was able to help Harry with those emotions and understanding the creatures that help pull the carriages is pretty much the only thing I can remember in the movies, but I know she did so much more in the books
Did J.K. describes how the potter siblings got along while at school? I mean like when they saw each other was it normal like at home, or was it awkward due to the different houses? I can image that it could be pretty uncomfortable at times, especially if other Gryffindors or Slytherins are around.
I would like to read a short centering each Weasley cousin's first year at Hogwarts. I love to find out who got sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff.
I have just recently started reading the HP books My friend and I have been planning a trip to Scotland and he told me there was HP tour but every one had to have read the books , so I picked them up in used book store. I’m on the third book now One thing I have always wondered is if James Potter had any relatives that could have taken Harry in so he could have been be brought up in the wizarding world Did James Potter parents become un alive because of L V?
I've also wondered why Harry's only family is the Dursleys.I'm sure there are fan theories or tidbits on Pottermore, but it's insane how he's practically the last Potter. It may also be due to cultural differences in family structure; my Mexican family is about 200 strong on each side, not counting distant relatives (3rd cousins). It's insane to me that I would only have ONE aunt! It would have been nice for Harry to at least go to a distant relative or godparent that would actually love and nurture him.
They were elderly and got dragonpox and died. James was an only child and the only person that would have loved Harry was thought to have gotten Lily and James killed by Voldemort. The Dursleys are the only people that could keep Harry safe. Idk where in the books you are now but there’s a deeper reason he needed to stay with them.
Dumbledore, says that it was much better for Harry to grow up outside the Wizarding World, where he'd be uber famous, and come back to it when he was older, and presumably in a better mental state to handle the fame. Plus if I remember correctly the Dursleys, offered some kind of protection that Harry wouldn't have had in the Wizarding World. A protection that Petunia, was very much aware of. Dumbledore had sent her a letter explaining it, and warning her about what could happen. I forget which book 📖 it's in but at one point Dumbledore warns Petunia to "Remember my last" at a point where Vernon really wanted to kick Harry out. I wish they would have kept it in the movies.
Too bad "The Cursed Child" story is cannon. I was reading it and I don't like it especially when it comes to Harry's behavior. And the fact that when Cedric is saved he becomes a DE for losing a tournament. What crap. I am sure there have been evil Hufflepuff Wizards and Witches but not Cedric, Cedric was a good guy and mature one. Overall this story is terrible.
I thoroughly agree. Its trash writing to come up with a way to cover for plot holes that semitrucks can drive through at full throttle. To me it will never be canan and even if JK personally told me it was I would laugh at her for days.
It has been said that Hufflepuff is the only Hogwarts house to have not produced a single known dark Wizard or Witch in The True Original Canon at least !
@@stevenplyler6306 that's probably why they dirtied up Cedric, that and his actor suddenly becoming popular for being a blood sucker... I have a theory in regards to the birthday of James Sirius Potter. Take my theory with a grain of salt but hear me out. Before I get into my theory just to let you know this theory is quite a few dates. I know calendar dates can be a pain, but bear with me. First let's establish what we know, and what we can determine is James' age during the 19 Years Later Epilogue at the end of Deathly Hallows. We aren't given any solid information what year James is starting, but do know that the Epilogue takes place in the year 2017. However, thanks to a Twitter post from J. K. Rowling we know that James started Hogwarts in 2015. So this means that James was born sometime between September 1, 2003 and August 31, 2004. Okay we've been able to trim it down to a year. This is where things get more murky and theoretical. This is also where we turn to the career's of Harry and Ginny to narrow down his birthday even further, trust me you'll see where I'm going. Starting with Harry we know for a fact that the Boy Who Lived did not redo his seventh year during the 1998-1999 school year and instead became an Auror. Thanks to Professor McGonagall in the Order of the Phoenix we know Auror training takes three years. So that gets us from mid 1998 to mid 2001. We'll come back to Harry later. Ginny's path is what will be key here. As we know Ginny most likely did attend Hogwarts for her seventh year (she was a year behind Harry after all), so she most likely graduated from Hogwarts in 1999. While in her seventh year she was most likely scouted during her Quidditch matches and ended up joining the Holyhead Harpies. This is where things get tricky, we don't know the schedule for the British and Irish Quidditch League. But since the Quidditch World Cup seems to correlate with the FIFA world cup, it can be safe to assume the British and Irish Quidditch League correlates with the Premier League which runs from August to May. But since the Quidditch World Cup Final seems to take place a month after the FIFA World Cup lets say the British and Irish League starts and ends a month after the Premier League so that would be between September and June. Now I'm no expert when it comes to sports, and since I live in the US the Premier League is most certainly not on my radar, so someone who does know how the Premier League works can tell me if I'm wrong here. Anyway if my assumption is true, after Ginny graduates in June of 1999, she would've been drafted by the Holyhead Harpies and start training with them before the season starts in September. At this point she'd most likely be a reserve player much like her predecessor Oliver Wood for the 1999-2000 Quidditch Season. For the 2000-2001 season Ginny is put on the main team as she is shown to be an MVP the few times she substituted in a few games the previous season, and that is without mentioning her skills during practices. So she plays the 2000-2001 season, at the end of this season Harry completes his Auror training, and is starting to get into a regular routine. So it is my prediction that at the end of the season Harry proposes to Ginny, in mid 2001 sometime after the final match. The 2001-2002 season runs its course, but this year is different as the Holyhead Harpies win the League Championship this year thanks to Ginny being the MVP again. In between the seasons Harry and Ginny have their wedding and officially get married. I don't have a solid date for when this happens, so fight amongst yourselves. The 2002-2003 season is the first season Ginny plays as Ginny Potter instead of Ginny Weasley, and she successfully shuts down critics saying "she only got a spot because she is Harry Potter's lover" as the Harpies once again win the League. And it is at this point is when I personally believe James was conceived. Again an exact date of when Harry and Ginny had their "fun" is murky, but my guess is it happens after their victory. Now I think it is safe to say Harry and Ginny did not plan to become parents at this time. As Harry was still a junior Auror and may not have been home as often, and Ginny's career had not even come close to cruising altitude. Also on a side note, at this point Ginny may have been a shoe in for a spot on the English National Team. But in any case Ginny becomes pregnant in late June or early July of 2003. Moving ahead roughly 40 weeks we come to late March of 2004. Okay we've narrowed it down to about a month. But there is one factor that remains and that is Rowling's aptitude for having symmetry in her writing. Since Rowling is a sucker for symmetry I'm going to proclaim that James Sirius Potter was born on March 27, 2004 exactly 44 years after the birth of his grandfather. If you've read for this long, thank you for reading. I'm sorry for the length, but I was trying to tighten as many loose ends as I could. Hopefully I didn't bore you to death.
Have never and never will consider the Cursed Child canon. Was a poor read, doesn't fit with the story and is full of plotholes because it was literally just shoehorned in.
Cursed Child is 100% fan fiction for me. I don't consider it canon. I really doubt Harry's 2nd son would have been sorted into Slytherin mainly because Harry revealed how he was sorted.
Lily's middle name didn't come from Luna it was a reference to lupin because if Edward Remus "Teddy" Lupin had a kid harry didn't want to take his father's name if so, and the Luna came from the lunar moon.
Great storytelling, but I'm still not happy about The storyline of the Cursed Child. I hope after a while, we can see a new and better storyline, OR an alternate Reality where things changed enough to get our attention. ;-)
What could have been a wonderful continuation of the Potter's story, became a mess with The Cursed Child's play. It should have been a book that would have given JK room to imagine and grow. Instead, it became a straight jacket without room for any of the story to breathe. JK sold herself out for commercialization.
Only thing is, those things regarding Albus NEVER happened. Those things contradict EVERY-FLIPPING-THING established, ESPECIALLY the Time Turners and Voldemort
I can’t wait for Harry Potter and the cursed Child to come out. I saw the play in New York that was really cool but I can’t believe that two of Harry’s sons was placed in Slytherin which both boys should be in Gryffindor since their dad Harry Potter was in Gryffindor and so was the mom Jenny
James Potter II and Fred Weasley II: James Sirius Potter, Fred George Weasley, and a third friend (to keep James and Fred in check) are the next generation of Gryffindor pranksters and troublemakers who are in the same year together, thereby being successors to the Marauders and the Weasley Twins and continuing their legacy. This also means that James II and Fred II live up to their namesakes pretty well.
Albus didn't become popular with that face? I mean come on! That blue eyes is killing me. Plus, he went to Slytherin house. 😁 and besides, I believe there would be so many people named after superhero's names.
The similarities between Harry's generation and his children's generation, from my point of view Harry - Teddy: Both war orphans, both sons of marauders, both are welcomed in by the Weasley’s, both fall in love with Weasley girls, the improvement is that unlike Harry , Teddy grows up loved and has a godfather around to help raise him. Ron - James II: The one parallel that is probably canon since Ginny remarks on the similarities between uncle and nephew James II is also very close to Teddy, even willing to give up his room so he could live at their house, this is similar to Harry and Ron’s friendship Ginny - Lily II , she begged her father to go to Hogwarts early just like Ginny did And finally Neville - Albus: Many say that Albus is like Harry because of the green eyes, but Albus is worried about his father’s legacy much like how Neville was anxious about living up to his auror parents, the very fact that Albus’s godfather is Neville could be a subtle hint, plus Harry likes James II’s humour, Albus seems uptight, even when Harry was Albus’s age he had a sense of humour and was very sarcastic.
Theory all well and good, but the big flaw is that even though we only see James & Lily briefly, and there’s a bit more detail in this video, it still falls into the “Gryffindor V Slytherin” trap! 🙄. This happens with Ron & Hermione’s kids too, but would it have killed the writers to sort Rose into Ravenclaw, as Ron said at the train “Make sure you beat him (Scorpius) in every test, thank Goodness you inherited your mothers brains Rosie”. There was also the fact that the Sorting Hat considered Hermione’s for Ravenclaw. And for balance, Hugo into Hufflepuff? This constant deep foreboding ONLY Gryffindor v Slytherin” is getting OLD. Their parents might not have told them, but Hogwarts had FOUR (4) school houses. Even Hagrid mentioned Hufflepuff to Harry in Diagon Alley
This is why you should never name a child after people you admired because it leads to Children thinking they can be just like what their named after. That’s a lot of pressure.
"Hey Harry, can we call our child Fred after my brother who died during the war-" "Nonono we will call him Albus Severus after our headmaster and the teacher that bullied us for 6 years straight"
Cursed Child will just never be canon to me. Rowling didn’t write it herself and it’s nothing more than a horrible fan fiction that had no thought put into it whatsoever. Any serious fan could spot a million problems with it. So disappointing.
@@brysontipton1893 no that is not the case when an author writes a book it is important for that book and story to be consistent and unchanging it is unfair to expect people to follow information outside of the book in order to get the full story if you do that it's not a book anymore it's a page in a multimedia empire I would rather see them as the books I read not the monster of economics that they have become
If I'm not mistaken, albus met Valdies daughter and she manipulated him somehow going back in time to stop certain events that would allow keep valdie from being killed. However this failed
Sorry mate you got Lily Luna Potter's description wrong. Luna does not stand for Luna Lovegood. Why would someone name their kid on a person who is still alive? Luna is for Lupin. His Marauder name was Moony which in turn means Moon or also Luna. Lot of people make this mistake and when a reputed channel does it looks really bad.
And just how stupid are you? JK Rowling has already made it clear that Luna is for Luna Lovegood and not Remus Lupin. Harry wanted to save Remus's name for when Teddy has kids of his own. Lily Luna's middle name is for Luna Lovegood and the stupidity of people like you who think it's for Lupin is incredible!
Not quite sure when he was born? WHAT? As a mother I know every minute when my son came out of my body. This is weird. LMAO Ablus was worried that he would be sorted into Slytherin and was told by Harry, it would be in consideration if he wanted to be sorted into Gryffindor. Now I am worried.
As much as Albus Severus Potter is a good name but i would have like it if Harry named his second son Albus Cedric Potter because if you have forgetton Cedric also died and i think if Cedric hadn't died then Harry would make the DADA happen this also means he wouldn't teach them in the first place
Unpopular view but James II was a version of Harry had Harry grew up with Lily & James, Albus is really nothing like Harry, Harry at 11 stood up to Dudley, Harry was humorous, sarcastic, rebellious etc, Albus is a do over of Neville
The house system has cause nothing but problems and should have been done away with. And the kids should have simply been divided buy gender then year. Thus two of the House are to be for the girls and the other two for the boys. And the the heads of each dorm house is the same gender as the students housed in it. Female for females and males for males. Plus the school needs a strong policy and code of conducts with the consequences spelled out for when they are broken. For one they need zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying. On top of a policy of zero tolerance towards prejudice and bigotry with a big one being racism.
I heard it was based on actual British prep schools that have a system of designating houses for the students, which I presume is where Rowling got inspiration from.
I’m really annoyed that ppl hate cruse child. Jk has said it is Canon However she didn’t have much say in it. If she did it would have been way better. Honestly, if you consider Cursed Child canon (which i dont), Albus is literally a terrible son. Harry was incredibly mis-characterized, too. The Harry from the original series wouldn't act as he did in Cursed Child.
Couldn't agree more
Don't name your kids after high-profile wizards (when you're already a 'Potter') and get rid of the sorting house system, that would fix a lot of problems...
What YOU consider canon isn't of consideration lol
@@1800mexicanotrue but it’s all make believe of someone’s imagination
Fair comment, but Harry literally puts the intensity of his childhood into Albus. We jump from Battle of Hogwarts to Off to School & D & M it’s “either Gryffindor or Slytherin & off you”
they should make a harry potter series about the lives of harry's and his friend's kids like who became head teacher
I feel like G. Norman's books that continue the story of James, Albus and Lily. It may be different then this but I really enjoyed the books.
I love every one of your videos. And your voice is so nice!
Thank you so much!
I wish that they make albus the next hero vs his brother who end up being influences by dark wizard. This will show that not all Slytherin are villains & all of Gryffindor are heroes. Help woke most of Harry Potter fan based
Poor Albus, can't even imagine what that's like.
Pretty awful how everyone failed him, with that name and being sorted into that house... The housing system in particular has caused so much trouble, they should just get rid of it.
Very much! I so much pity and sympathize with him.

He's just spoiled and can't handle anything, Harry tolerated worse things than that and never complained while Albus crying for being Harry Potter's son.
Always bothered me that none of Harry and Ginny’s kids had the names Arthur or Molly?
Molly was one of Percy's girls.
Molly and arthur have 6 sons while lily, james , sirius , snape and dumbledore don’t have anyone to remember them except harry
I personally liked Cursed Child. Though I still haven’t seen the play(lack of funds to do so)
It's really disappointing because Luna lovegood in the books.
The fact Harry’s kids are nearly grown up makes me feel so old
I love that in another world, the Potter’s and all those who were apart of their story, are still out there.
I really love your Harry Potter videos on your theories and other videos
I would like to read a short centering each Weasley cousin's first year at Hogwarts. I love to find out who got sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff.
I like how he used the background from hogworts legacy Even though the game doesn’t come out until the Holidays
I would befriend Albus. He reminds me of myself.
I really really love hermione for some reason
Albus’ initials spelled ASP….a very poisonous snake.

@@philippschwarz4539 Huh?
A possible clue that he would indeed end up in Slytherin.
I think I wanna go and read the books now. Are these stories late in the life of Harry Potter in the books?
@@dirkbsilver9260 Yes brother you are 100 % correct.
Still the writers likely chose a popular Hufflepuff from canan that they could drag through the mud so the audience will s team and cry in support of keeping the plot holes in place over forming their own fanans to fix it all.
There is so much more movies to make/explore then just the ones we already got xD
It was weird like adult Harry dressed like he was from the 40s. Just cause you get older doesn’t mean you lose your style haha.
Because he was wearing a suit? And you'd find styles do change
Styles come back. It's like a cycle. Like Ladder shades. Those were from the 1980s and they recently came back into fashion.
Oh Steampunk and Gothic Aristocrat stuff were originally from the Victorian era.
Chunky heals/Platform shoes were from the 1970s.
Great video. Cursed Child isn't that bad. Wouldn't it be hilarious if one of Dudleys kids had magic power. 🤣
Ooh yes please I'd want that
What if Vernon shot Hagrid in Philosopher's Stone and how would it affect the story going forward?
Hargrid would get very confused, bullets probably would just bounce. He is both a wizard and a giant after all
@@PolinaLee94 Not from a headshot. Vernon was aiming at his head.
It was a 410 bird shot people get faces blasted with them regularly... especially hunting with Vice Presidents. However it would have messed Hagred up and like as not got his giant side a screaming. It would have been ugly...
Man really counting curse child as cannon
Cursed Child is 100% fan fiction for me. I don't consider it canon. I really doubt Harry's 2nd son would have been sorted into Slytherin mainly because Harry revealed how he was sorted.
He could have decided he wanted to confront his fear, rather than avoid it.
Cursed Child was a really bad fan fiction, that’s what it amounted to
So, Lily is a 3rd year now.😁✨
Won't she been in her 4th year tho?
@@ButterflySimmer 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I'm sure we can say Ginny agreed with the names, but I find it so on the nose that the names don't have any personality from Ginny or her family.
Ginny looked a wee bit like Lily
Lily's middle name didn't come from Luna it was a reference to lupin because if Edward Remus "Teddy" Lupin had a kid harry didn't want to take his father's name if so, and the Luna came from the lunar moon.
Great storytelling, but I'm still not happy about The storyline of the Cursed Child. I hope after a while, we can see a new and better storyline, OR an alternate Reality where things changed enough to get our attention. ;-)
You should do a video in telling a better story of the sequal by keeping true to the characters
Someone already did that check out fixing the cursed child in UA-cam (there's 3 videos & they even turned it into a stage show 😲)
What could have been a wonderful continuation of the Potter's story, became a mess with The Cursed Child's play.
This is AMAZING!

The name is Krum, which is also the name of a medieval Bulgarian ruler, not crumb.
I like to think that luna stands for remus lupin cus luna means moon and remus his nickname was moony
The similarities between Harry's generation and his children's generation, from my point of view
Harry - Teddy: Both war orphans, both sons of marauders, both are welcomed in by the Weasley’s, both fall in love with Weasley girls, the improvement is that unlike Harry , Teddy grows up loved and has a godfather around to help raise him.
Ron - James II: The one parallel that is probably canon since Ginny remarks on the similarities between uncle and nephew James II is also very close to Teddy, even willing to give up his room so he could live at their house, this is similar to Harry and Ron’s friendship
Ginny - Lily II , she begged her father to go to Hogwarts early just like Ginny did
And finally
Neville - Albus: Many say that Albus is like Harry because of the green eyes, but Albus is worried about his father’s legacy much like how Neville was anxious about living up to his auror parents, the very fact that Albus’s godfather is Neville could be a subtle hint, plus Harry likes James II’s humour, Albus seems uptight, even when Harry was Albus’s age he had a sense of humour and was very sarcastic.
I never knew that there were anything else about Harry Potter
"Hey Harry, can we call our child Fred after my brother who died during the war-"

His Marauder name was Moony which in turn means Moon or also Luna. Lot of people make this mistake and when a reputed channel does it looks really bad.

Unpopular view but James II was a version of Harry had Harry grew up with Lily & James, Albus is really nothing like Harry, Harry at 11 stood up to Dudley, Harry was humorous, sarcastic, rebellious etc, Albus is a do over of Neville
Sucks Albus is now in Slytherin.
Splitting the genders has never worked in the school system!!
To remove the houses is a good thing, but not to seperate girls from boys... (would be better for non binary people...)
Super early for once!
