This video focused on women because they stereotypically care about fashion more. Most of these tips are gender-neutral, like horizontal stripes. They also said wear nongendered clothing, which you could interpret to mean that. This video had all women for whatever reason, so that wasn't mentioned.

Plenty of people have said no to horizontal stripes( on plus size women at least), plenty of people don't count leggings as pants( just go to any high school in America, and chances are that the school bans them and doesn't consider them appropriate), same thing for bra straps(apparently, showing your bra straps is inappropriate and sexual, idk), again, plenty of people think overalls are childish.

Wider stripes do make you look bigger. I think the pinstripes are fine. I've avoided horizontal stripes for a long time but just the last year or so I've been buying tops with thin, closely spaces horizontal stripes and it looks fine because from a distance it doesn't look that stripey..

Actually, horizontal stripes hug the figure and help to smooth out any lumps and bumps. Why do you think so many women's clothes have horizontal stripes? Vertical stripes are a lot 'worse' as they show lumps and bumps and make one look shorter.

I am still against double denim in general...I think it only worked on this example because the shirt was not really denim, it was very light wash chambray. So it didn't look too matchy matchy.

If you're a head above everyone, it's only natural that you'd draw attention. Of course it's not something to feel self-conscious about, no matter what your height is, it's a part of who you are and eventually you need to accept that. For some people who aren't confident or were bullied as children, it can be difficult to accept. (Sorry for the long winded comment)

Technically that's not really contouring because contouring is accentuating your facial structure with a warm or cool toned color so it's essentially just putting shimmer in your cheekbones but I bet it looks bomb!!

To be honest most of these really DO look bad. Heels on a tall girl is fine, bra straps showing can be part of your look, who ever said white isn't for all seasons, double denim has been in for a couple of years now, and only your grandma would care about the gold-silver jewellery rule.
