@@ikisolde1I tell folks too. We are a special group of people who absolutely adore Manchester Orchestra. It would be great to get a group together from STL to go to Atlanta during Thanksgiving to see their annual yearly concert called “The Stuffing”.
It was Thursday July 27, 2023 when they played here in STL. Coming on stage about 9:45pm, IT WAS STILL 96 DEGREES & 109 HEAT INDEX. My iPhone Pro Max recorded much of the concert but kept shutting down saying “temperature warning”. I was standing on the floor practically right in front of Andy. These guys really worked hard to give us a really really great concert despite the deadly heat and humidity. Thx for recording this!
@@davidfinch9 They have said on their Patreon that the Riot Fest 2019 set was one of their favorite festival shows ever. I've seen them many times between just Lolla and Riot alone. But their venue shows always knock me over.
Saw them in Buffalo last night and it was the best show of my life. Weird that there are comments about botching lyrics. Not fan behavior. Thank you for posting this!!!
Andy’s messed up the intro to the Gold multiple times I’ve seen them. Doesn’t matter. They still rule. The VIP section was incredibly huge and weird at that show! Day-yo😂
Hahahah DAY-YO! Dude the VIP was incredibly odd. Needless to say I was not a part of it, but I was right on the fence so I still had a great view! What happened with the medical emergency? A lot of people seemed to be over served 😬
@@katieishler2337 I’m not sure about the medical emergency. Did that happen during Jimmy Eat World? I bounced a little over half way through their set. Someone ‘collapsed’ about 3-4 songs into MO’s set when I saw them touring the last album in Toronto.
@@davidfinch9Many artists mess up while playing live concerts. That’s what makes that single event a “one of a kind” experience. I love all these songs on this recorded streams and usually end up watching it multiple times a week. Guess I’m a Manchester Orchestra junkie! We should start a STL MO club and all get together. We are all one of a kind following this group!
I feel he just improvised because it’s a show. The music itself to a lot of the songs they played was heavier and slightly different. Doesn’t need to be words for word and note for note
oh,so sad. I had followed for so long,and and was so hopeful. Seems the fans know more than the artist. Great lyrics, but failure of artists to reproduce it. I hope of they make it too my city, they have got better.
70's rock is great too, man.. But you have to expand your horizons. To call these guys talentless is insane, because there are plenty of bands to choose from who don't have it, but it ain't Manchester Orchestra!
I think music and the artistry that comes with it is a lot more than perceived “musical talent”. I love this band for their songs and how they make me feel. Just gotta straight up disagree that they aren’t talented though. Could say a lot of bands from the 70’s and 80’s all sound very similar. Manchester orchestra has their own sound, especially when comparing them to any modern bands. The silence, the gold, keel timing, angel of death, the moth, all so fucking good. Sorry you don’t like them

Easily the loudest and absolute coolest show I've been to in such a long time.
Saw them by accident at Riot Fest ages ago. I go whenever they are playing within 200 miles (often even further!)
