Sweet...a wonderful childrens church project. Also something I can share with my goddaughter and can use for just a little special touch on my gifts. Thanks for sharing.
You always make my heart sing eith joy when you show us how go make precious things. Love the Angels.
This is the earliest video I see, making folded wired ribbon angels. They are so beautiful.
These are super cute! We do a memorial service every christmas for local mothers who have lost a child. We always give out little keepsakes to each mom. I usually make these keepsakes. This would be perfect to make this year. Thanks for sharing!
carlynicoleYT Awwww! This would be perfect Carlynicole! You could make them in pretty blues and pinks.I'm so glad I could help you out with this craft idea! :o)
As a mother who has lost a child (he was 25, but still my child) I think your giving them as keepsakes is a wonderful and touching idea.
That is a beautiful ministry! God bless you
Oh my yes. Wonderful idea. They lost sweet little angels and giving them these angels is a very thoughtful way to help remember their angels.
This angel is ADORABLE!! I want to make many of these. They would look great anywhere; on the tree, a gift package or wreath. She is so sweet. Thank you for sharing this DIY with us.
Thank you so much for showing how to make an angel. i made some after watching the video and taped it on gift boxes, instead of a bow
I’ve just found your Chanel and I absolutely love your ideas! You explain everything so well and you don’t go so fast like some people do. I’m 68 years old and love the way you explain everything to us. You are an awesome teacher!! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas!
Paper ones would also be adorable attached to a gift
Those are the prettiest little ribbon angels I've ever seen.
I have some ribbon that I was trying to think what to do with. It would make into angels
Awww! Thank you for taking the time to post such a sweet comment! That's one of the reasons I love this project so much...they are so versatile! I think the Christmas ones are my favorite because you can find such beautiful ribbon during that season. Thanks again for watching my videos! Blessings!
YOU ARE AN "ANGEL" to share your talent with us. I love your project and all the others' did also by their comments. Thank you again. You are a love!
These precious angels are beautiful, I will be making some and putting them in a altered keepsake box for my mom for mothers day, I would like to give them to her for her birthday in December but I don't think I could wait that long 😊. I know she is gonna just love them. Please let me say you are an excellent teacher! Thank you
+m malone Awww! Thank you so much Sweetie! I appreciate all your kind words! :o)
we make fruit baskets with homemade goodies for our shut ins at church and we will make these to tie on with the candy canes on the outside of the baskets. Love the idea. thanks
Pt 2 :)--You can then bend the "halo" part down at a 90 degree angle and use the two long "tails" to glue it to the back of your project. The tinsel stem gives the glue a little something extra to "grab" onto so it will hold better on your project. I've used this on lots of projects. For a larger angel you can use the entire stem--even sliding lightweight beads onto the stem before twisting--just as long as they don't get too heavy and weight down the stem. Thanks for the tutorial!
I made many angels I used gold tinsel pipe cleaner wrapped around my little finger for the halo then a spot of glue to hold in place Thank you for he directions
Ангелочки красивые очень! Спасибо за идею! Мы таких раньше делали из бумаги! Их можно сделать очень быстро! А тут такое затянутое видео…
Hi, I've made 3 so far and I used a twist tie & the wired part we cut off the dress to make a halo 😇. I also used, for the head, the round glass beads that are used in vases. I will hash tag you when I post them. Thanks for sharing this 👍🏾🙃
Just a darling little angel, I am gonna to make it, thank you for showing how to do
Love this little angel thanks for sharing .
You are more than welcome! Thank you for watching my videos! :o)
I used the ring pull off a bottle of Ribena. It was glued on with my glue gun. I used glitter glue sticks which really did set it off. I love how you explain and teach. I adore glitter any time of the year but especially Christmas time. God Bless and happy crafting. x
Very Pretty Angel, Personally I would of made a bow with streamers hanging flowing in the breeze. But yours is very pretty.Thank you for your wonderful ideas.
+paperroses352 Kaufman Thank you for watching! Your idea sounds pretty too! :o)
Add a tiny rubber band painted gold as a halo. If you brush the halo with tacky glue, it will be firm. Second choice is thin wire halo attached by securing a wire on the back riching up to the head area for the halo circle.
So beautiful and elegant. Can't wait to start making them. I go to a Christmas cookie exchange and make the girls a little something. These are perfect!
Lila Chesniak I love cookie exchanges! :o) You're right....I think this would be perfect to bring! :o)
Gold tinsel pipe cleaners for the halo. Cut about 1 1/2 “ then make a circle and wrap the ends together, then hot glue it on top of the bell being careful not to clog the top of the bell to put your string in.
I was thinking the same thing - Use a pipe cleaner/chenille stem for the halo!!! 😉😉😉😍😍😍
Beautiful 😍! My only comment is...I would have used a silver bell & cording instead of the gold. For me, the silver bell/cording would match better with the BEAUTIFUL folded ribbon. Thank you for sharing! Great ornament! 👍
A tinsel pipe cleaner would work for a 😇 TFS. These are so cute!
For the halo maybe a sparkling pipe cleaner shaped in a circle and have the long part glued to the back. Or using a plastic ring and attach it on each side to the hanging string.
I don’t know if it’ll work because I’ve never made these, but I have a bunch of wired ribbon so I’ll try.
Angels need their Halo.Lov your vedio wish I could think 🤔 but For now AM happy for your video.
love that gold thread
THOSE TINY WHITE PEARL STRINGS, CUT about 2 inches, AND GLUED TOGETHER TO MAKE A RING, AND GLUE THE RING ON TOP THE HEAD. Cut to fit the head size. They may be the right size pearls...they come on a roll too... and make a nice halo for my angels. x0x
I'm going to make some of these tonight in red, silver, and gold. This is a cute and easy project. I will watch this again and craft it along with you. These would be for decorating a whole tree- an angel tree, with a large one at the top. Hey, try a small piece of gold chenille for the halo.
Glitter pipe cleaner maybe for a halo. Thanks for this it’s fabulous
Super pomysł, nareszcie wykorzystam wstążki, które od 2-3 lat przerzucam z kąta w kąt.
FANTASTIC!!!! Going to let my daughter make these for an upcoming craft show. She's super excited!
Thank you very much, Denise! Let me know how they sell. I've had quite a few messages from various ladies who told me they completely sold out at their craft shows and fund raisers. :o)
I dont have a stapler but i can take a couple stitches in there. Cool little angel...might have to make a garland with them. I like the ribbon you are using as its very ethereal..from the thin sheer fabric the ribbon is made of.. wow..very pretty Lori
I am definitely going to make these little angels for my tree and some for my little granddaughters who will love them. For the halo you could utilise the little hanger on top of the bell (head) and form your halo with wire and attach it to the head that way. I have done this before and it does work. I made a circle of wire, twisted it, cut off one of the 'legs' of the wire (heavy wire -not too thin) and left enough to attach to the head.. leave enough wire so that you can angle your halo over the head, a little dab of hot glue helps to keep it in place. Hope that works for you too. Thanks for your tutorial,I really enjoyed it.
Eileen Wightman Eileen, I really like your halo idea! Thank you so much for sharing! :o) God bless!
For the halo, you could use a piece of gold ribbon. Sweet project.
Adorable angel. Loved I! Thanks for sharing.
We made these over 35 years ago but there was no wired ribbon then. We pressed the ribbon. Also used gold or silver pipe cleans for halo. You can glue a pin on the back and pin on you coat or sweater. Lots of fun.
This little angel is just gorgeous! I am going to make one for this year's Christmas decorations! Thanks so much for sharing. I love your projects. I watch your videos multiple times each, so I can see how to make some really neat stuff! Love them. Have a blessed day.
Love those sweet angels. Thanks for sharing. Hugs and Blessings Jeanne
Too sweet. Thanks for sharing your amazing talents.
Lovely. They'd also look nice on a string with a fairy light behind each one
I'm just now seeing this. I love it. I was looking for something to make to give too all the church members. Now, just to get my great nieces to help me. Thank you so much
WOW! Beautiful! And seems so EZ I can even do it. Thank you!
Personally, for a halo, I use gold craft wire. I just cost the end with a blob of hot glue and slide it down along the back of the bell and into the ribbon that makes the wings. I usually secure it even more w a small dot of hot glue on the back side of the bell.
The angel ornament is adorable. Enjoyed the tutorial. Thanks for sharing your idea!
I was looking at some other tutors and they just seem harder and more time consuming to make. Yours looks easy enough for me and my sister to make. They are so pretty and you can use different color ribbons. Thank you so much!
She’s beautiful....thank you! 🙏🏽😍😍😍👍👍👍
That is so beautiful. Hugs and God Bless
She’s beautiful 💗💗💗
Pipe cleaner for halo. Love your sight
For the halo you could try the wire you used to close the gift bags with the Santa sleighs. A small piece of the wire should be pliable enough to make a halo and leave a small length to glue to the back of the angel head. Hope this works. I love your videos.
I have to admit, when I saw you staple the dress, then the wings, I thought, No I don't like this, but I kept watching, and it turned out so cute, I decided to give it a try. The first 1 I made was a red, white, and green 2" Christmas plaid, it came out so cute, I ended up making another, then 2 more with a 3 1/2" white with silver glitter snow flakes (glitter every where), and they are so pretty, so I just had to say, Thank You for sharing your time, and your talent with all of us. I have lots of 2" ribbon, so I'm sure there will be many, many more. Thank You.
I used 1 1/8" beads for the heads, and glittery chenille stems for the halo, make a circle, then bend a stem down, and glue the stem to the back of the head with the halo sticking up.
sparkly pipecleaners for halos.. these are adorable
LOVE THIS! Decided to do the first practice angel using red plaid ribbon. It turned out so cute! so am going to do other angels using different colors of ribbon too. They will each be charming with it's own personality! Good instructions and glad I found this. Thank you! Merry Christmas and GOD bless.
ADORABLE. THANKS 4 SHARING. YOUR VOICE IS SO PLEASANT I ALMOST WENT TO SLEEP.
For the halo try it with stronger wire and make the halo shape then glue and glitter, that may work. Good job.
So adorable.
Bertie Sulik Thank you Bertie! :o)
I just saw this and it is Nov. 2021. I love this and will make some this Christams. Thank you for the great idea and video that is easy to follow.
Another pretty angel! Thank you for sharing your God given talents! A possible suggestion for a halo. Little rubber o rings found in plumbing covered in tinsel stem maybe then glued to head at the back? Maybe, I don't know for sure. Just a thought. Thanx again for your fun creations!!!
Susan Fant Wonderful idea Susan! Thank you so much for your feedback! God bless! :o)
So Cute! Yes they looks easy to make! Thank You For Sharing! God Bless Liz...
Thanks for sharing! God bless you too!
Beautiful I love the cute little angels 👼🏻
Great job! These are lovely. For a halo you might try a bit of floral wire. You can wrap the wire around the wings (were the staple is) to anchor then go up string some seed beads and make a loop. When you affix the head it will hide the wire. Good luck, I hope it works!
+violetml Great idea Violetml! I hope you enjoy the little angels. I've made so many of these and they are great craft fair sellers. :o)
If you use the mini Christmas balls (I found mine at the dollar store) for mini trees for the heads, you can use the rings as halos and still use the gold or silver string to hang the angels.
+Cathy Shelton Wonderful idea Cathy! Thank you so much for sharing and watching! Blessings! :o)
So much I cannot do anymore due to severe hand pain, but I enjoy your videos instead. As for the halo, I have seen many angels of all types on cards, paintings etc where the halo is replaced by rays emanating from behind the angel. Glittery pipe cleaners in gold or silver glued at the base and fanned out behind the angel would give that same effect. You also see it in the pictures of Christ as well. That could be the halo of sun rays of a heavenly angel. If you do not understand, I can try to show the fan with a few pipes cleaners, but I am sure you understand what I am saying. My boys love creating with the fancy pipe cleaners lol I hope that helps and I think it would be stunning.
Many "THANK YOU" years ago I had over 100 and they got thrown out never had the know how NOW I DO. More so a really great gift for people who love all types of items on a tree So very thoughtful to share your talents.🌹🌲🐦🐣🍭Merry Christmas My Jesus MERCY 🎊MRS.SALTY DOG
This angel is so cute ..i love it
Love love the angel beautiful😇
We were looking for something easy to make for the clients in the nursing home and this is perfect. Thank you ❤️
So adorable! As someone else mentioned, pipe cleaners work great for halols.
So beautiful, thank you for sharing!
You can use a loop of glitter pipe cleaner for the halo. Just make a circle with a stem and glue the stem to the back of the head/wings..
Love your Angel's thanks for sharing ❤
Beautiful! I love it! Seems simple enough…I’m going to give it a try.
I love your work! I find your voice and process to be relaxing and encouraging. Iv learnt so much from you. Blessings.
Miss the group, but still enjoying your videos. Wish I had your talent
They are so cute! I’m not that crafty but I might be able to do this!!! Thank you! I was looking to make an ornament to go with little gifts for friends.❤️😘🎄
Thank u for this video I absolutely love it ! The angel is so cute & I'm definitely going to try this ! Plus u have the most soothing voice to listen too .
Thanks so much for this video. We are have a craft/bake sale at work to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network. This is what I'm going to make. Happy Holidays!
I love these and I will try to make them for my grand daughter to put on her tree.
Thank you so much for this great idea.
Hi! Very pretty ! I love your angels just the way they are, but if you really wanted a halo you could try using a tinsel stem that would match your colors--silver, gold, or iridescent white. I usually cut one in half and wrap it around something round that is the size I want--a sharpie or a large dowel works great. Then I twist it a couple of turns next to the dowel and slide it off. This gives me a "halo" plus two long ends. Either twist the ends together or just hold them together.
Beautiful. And petite.
Yes. I'm going to make a bunch n give them out as gifts
This is stunning! Please stay safe and well and GOD bless you and your family. :)
Super cute! For the Halo, maybe gold or silver wire would work😊
IT IS VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Beautiful projects. Just as yoyr butterflies are. Thank you.
You make the most amazing tutorials, so easy to understand and beautiful crafts. Thanks so much
For the halo, you could try a round gold sequin or if you look in the beeding section at Michael's they have several connector type beeds or I think they call them spacers...? Anyway check it out and see if that would work for you. When I finish mine,I'll send you a picture. Thanks for sharing. BR
Absolutely precious, figures, I ran out of hot glue today!
Hi, thank you for this video, I made this angel and used a large pearl for the head. I put the folded edge of the hanging thread through the hole in the pearl and then put the wings through the same fold, pushed the pearl to the top of the wings and then glued the head and wings on top of the angel body. For the halo I used tiny self adhesive rhinestones or tiny pearls if desired, tied a knot at the top of the hanger and it's done. (you could also reverse the knot to sit under the pearl head before you glue it all to the body. I'm sorry for being so long winded.......when it comes to crafting, it's a compulsive labor of love, thank you for sharing, God bless,
Michelle
Beautiful idea Michelle! I LOVE it! You aren't long winded at all. I really enjoy hearing suggestions! :o)
Wish I could see a picture.
Hey Im back! :) Thought Id share something with you that I tried wile following your cute little Angel tutorial, ok, you know the ribbon you cut off for the dress? If you take that cut part, open it up (stretch it out I mean) and cut any little bit o the ribbon off leaving just that wired glittered edge, then cut off a little piece of that wired edge hot glue the ends together to make a "ring" shape, then hot glue to the Angels head, makes a great halo!!!!! Ive done 4 so far and I think they look pretty darned cute :)
April, I love it! Brilliant idea! I'm going to have to try this at home because it sounds just like what I was looking for. Thank you so much for taking the time to post this! :o)
you are very welcome! :)
C & A. R That's a very clever idea for a Halo. Perfect. Thanks for sharing.
I did this....worked very nicely. And i also could not get any ribbon with the wide edging so i bought what I could find and it worked just fine. Its so cute. Shes standing on the manger to tell the world of The Birth
@@ca.r1334 Awesome idea!!! 😉😉😉😍😍😍
You can use 18 gauge Wire for the halo...Wrap wire around a dowel or something round to create the halo, cut leaving 2” stem; you can even put a bead onto the stem, then hot glue it to the back of the bell head! :)
for the halo, you could use a piece of wire...make loop , leaving long ends and hot glue to center back of angel, centering loop above her head.
That is such a sweet little decorations. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! So excited to start on them.
You are so very welcome Sweetie!
Love Love Love this .. easy enough for my class at church thank you for sharing
This angel is real cute and you made so easy to make. I will try this. You did a great job.
