When I first started making them years ago, I made so many that I donated them to a lady who was selling them to raise funds for neck coolers to send to our soldiers in Iraq. She sold every single one of them! You have a very Merry Christmas Hun!

FYI for your DIY....keep a small bowl of water on your craft desk. When you glue anything with hot glue, dip your finger into water & the glue will not burn you.

Oh yes! You can certainly use ribbon without the wire. I removed the wire because it was "in my way" when I did the first one. The wire was always poking out.
