Just bought one of these. Decided to test on my tesla rear wheel lugs. Unfortunately I only have a 1/2" 21mm, so had to use a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter. It won't budge those lug nuts. A few months go I had to get a tire replaced and had the shop also rotate the tires so I really don't know yet what they torqued it to. Waiting for a 3/8" 21mm socket and will test again.
I have the first gen and it rips off the lug nuts on my full sized truck off (with 4ah battery) ... But for the same amount of money HT also came out with a 20v mid torque ... 300 ft lbs break away torque. That's more than enough for lug nuts. It's worth a try if you are still within the exchange period.
i got one for work and personal repairs. love how cheap it is. i only dislike how it has the slow ramp up in speed
Great video.
I just watched another video Where the guy took off all 4 tires off his truck With that same driver I think you're underestimate it... I believe he also Still had a full battery left After removing 4 tires.
I like the gen 2 the stupid cut off on gen 1 sucks, The new one does not cut off under heavy load even with the 1.5 amp hr. I would love to see 12v 1/4 impact wrench and 1/2 impact wrench in 12v line.
If u have nice cars don’t use friction ring type impact, the damn socket can fall off and become loose and hope it doesn’t hit your exterior paint
