Bro, Bolt, they literally pointed out the fact that they're fairy tales in the FIRST movie- not a very good argument against the (clearly very bad) GBA games
I unironically loved Shrek Super Slam on the PS2, it was a simple but fun 3D arena fighting game with pretty cool mechanics and various fun challenges, but the GBA version... damn, Street Fighter II on the original Game Boy played better than that.
Hey, great video, as always. As proof, I stuck around until the very end... and it was great hearing you thank me for that. Keep up the good work, minimme! Looking forward to the next one.

I had that Shrek racing game... the first one. I don't remember it at all, I just remember that I have it. Since my DSLite is broke and I don't have a GBA, it's just sitting around.
I had one of the vicarious vision games. It was two in one game: Sherk (not sure which one) and penguins from Madagascar. It was for gba and I just found it on the playground at school and never turned it in like my mom told me to. I remember always being confused and never got very far in it.
You all heard of "it's all ogre now" and now, get ready for "a hastle in the castle"😈 *shrek memeingly stretching the f*ck out in all directions with a huge ogrephile smile while maintaining eye contact*
I despise that "Single Player co-op" thing that was mentioned. It's all over GBA for some reason. So many cartoon, tv, and movie tie ins end up having you control multiple characters at the same time to solve puzzles and platform through levels. Then again, I also hated Lost Vikings, so maybe that explains it.
Lmao Hastle At The Castle was one of the 5ish GBA games I had back in the day. Didn't think it was that bad, though I do remember being pissed off at Shrek's measly jump and Donkey's lack of attack power.
Lol I helped my little sister get through Shrek the Third back in the day. That music was actually a nostalgia trip haha. I remember Prince Charming got a lava surfing upgrade and my sis wished that Puss in Boots got it instead because he was more fun to play.
When I was young I wanted Shrek 2 on Gameboy. My dad took me to Walmart and I pointed out Shrek 2: Beg for Mercy. When he saw the one next to it, he repeatedly questioned the workers on why one was so much cheaper than the other. He got me the one that came out first, and only recently have I played the second. Still a good choice.

I’m honestly shocked that the GBA Shrek 2 game is so reminiscent of the console versions, which were developed by Luxoflux (they made True Crime: Streets of LA)
I'd say that the best of the Shrek games on any system has to be Shrek 2's PS2 release, made by Activision - It's great fun to play and really good for multiplayer - anyone can join or leave at any time provided they have a controller, and it's really fun to run through levels beating the crap out of anything that gets in your way and completing the Hero Time minigames.
When I was a kid I wanted a GBA so badly and the reason was because of the shrek games. I would look through the screenshots and box arts and dream about playing these games. I printed out screenshots and stuck them to my bedroom wall. Wreaking havoc, superslam, and one you missed that had you play as four characters on the screen at once to solve puzzles. Maybe my memory is wrong though. My parents never did buy me that GBA.
I picked up and played that Shrek the Third game a few years ago because I thought it was a bootleg game. Tbh I enjoyed it quite a bit somehow, I enjoyed the puzzles, and spam switching so they'd say LET'SGOLET'SGOLET'SGOLET'SGOLET'SGOLET'SGO
I still have hassle in the castle. You forgot to mention the best. Part of the game, the multiplayer fighting mini game. My brother and I played the shit out of that
I can't say I hate Shrek 2 and Shrek The Third on GBA. I remember having fond memories of both those games with the music and the levels. I even 100% Shrek The Third as they give you one last level to complete controlling Shrek, Arthur, Puss, and Donkey. I even have the game's soundtrack on my channel. I love it!
The Lost Vikings had a port to the GBA. You can also download the PC version for free on Blizzards site. Also, there was a Shrek game on the DS that was even more similar to the Lost Vikings.
I bought Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway in 2003. I still have the damn box for some reason... I even did some of the requirements to unlock the bosses to be playable, and THEY WERE NOT FREAKING PLAYABLE
I've played that penguins game and it was fun. Weirdly, I've played that, and a few other GBA games on an emulator on an old Nokia smartphone from 2007 (N95).
I know that it's irrelevent but blizzard and lost vikings didn't originated the idea of multiple characters with unique abillities that need to work together. "Gobliiins" went out a year before lost vikings and had this concept with point and click gameplay. So i guess it's better compareable to lost vikings due to the similar platformer puzzler gameplay but just wanted to point out the fact
They call the fairy tale characters in the Shrek movie (Pinochio, three little pigs, etc) as fairy tale creatures/fairy tale characters. It isn't calling the world fiction in the 3rd game, it's sticking to the source material.
