Motor Age Tech Tip Autel - EV Analysis - Battery Health Tools

In this Motor Age Tech Tip video, sponsored by Autel, Scott Brown takes on a deep dive into Autel’s advanced battery health software. He will describe the battery health check process and how Autel is leveraging the Hyper Power Pulse technique and other industry standard battery health analysis tools to help service technicians identify batter health issues. He will also demonstrate an evaluation on a Tesla Model 3 utilizing one of the unique to vehicle test patterns where the Ultra is connected to the BMS to log battery and charge data during a level 2 charge operation from an SoC of above 50% to 71% SoC.
Autel’s system currently supports battery analysis on 58 vehicle models, and it is able to produce highly accurate State of Health (SoH) battery reports using AI-driven data analytics.
