Our family is just the three of us now!! We love buying the mince at Costco!! It's the best way to buy it!! We get one pack of mince and divide it in two for Mum and my brother and for me!! So we pay $20 each!! It is sooo much better than a pitiful 500 gms for $10 at Woolworths!!
Thanks GYY, I look forward to and value your shopping experiences. 👍 Keep up the great work, as it help guide me to some interesting olaces, products and deals, I would not otherwise have found. Have a great festive season! 🎅🦌🍾🎉
I might have to check out the big packs and pieces of meat next time. A lot to spend up front but could get many meals out of them. Pumpkin pie looks good. Yummy duck fat potatoes! I’ll get them for Christmas as my Aldi hasn’t stocked them this year. I thought those cherry balls would be as big as Lindt balls.
👍👍 I ended up slicing 30 pieces out of that big piece of pork, so I was happy with that. I though it was very good value. I also thought those cherry balls would be bigger, that's why I showed their size in the video. They tasted very nice though 😋
Thanks luv for another awesome video! 🥰 wish i could tag along with ur mum at Costco every week LoL 😆 i just love hearing u tell us whats on special & the pricings! 😍😌 and my 14 yr old daughter lovezz cherry ripe too!! 🍒🍒🍒🍫🍫🍫😋 sending u love & support from Perth WA. 💖
Oh yay! Welcome aboard ❤ Some tips: try to avoid weekend shopping if you can (it can get crazy busy). Do a bit of price research before you go (sometimes Coles and Woolies have good discounts that week that beat Costco). And try lots of samples! That part is lots of fun. Enjoy 😊
G'day once again thanks from Steve at Wisemans ferry you help me a lot being on the pension I have to watch what I buy I will be going to Costco at Marsden park after Christmas 🎁
The meat and fish are in huge packaging, suitable for large families or restaurants/ cafes. There are cheaper options in local butcher shops, weekly specials in coles, woolies and Aldi.
There were a lot of samples today that looked yummy. My cousin cooked up the duck fat potatoes the other day for a family get together and they were delicious. We always stock up on the chicken thigh fillets as they are a good price as most supermarkets charge $14 to $15 a kilo. We prefer them over breast fillets.
No, it’s not like caramel. It tastes like pumpkin but with spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves) and brown sugar. Eat warmed up in microwave and with vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream. Try it. You might like it! My family does. 😊
Hi. I was hoping you could make a video for a prospect asian international students like myself. Showing the prices of the basic staple foods like rice, meats, eggs, spices, pasta sections and fresh produce. And appliances like a mini fridge, blenders and whiskers, pans, utensils etc.
Hi there, I showed the meat and eggs in this video, if you watch some of my older videos I cover rice and spices (it's in the titles) Also, I don't cover too many appliances, mainly food items ans specials. The store is so big I could do a 5 hour video and still not cover half 🤣
Love the meat at Costco, loads cheaper than the other supermarkets and great quality. Need to stock the freezer again. I often look at buying a whole piece of meat but not sure how good my skills are in that department. Might have to give it ago. Tried the pork fillet, really tender and very juicy.
I love the meat there too 👍👍 That pack of mince makes 8 meals for my family. And i got 30 slices out of the piece of pork, so happy with that😊 My Mum gave me a fish filleting knife ages ago for slicing the meat, it works great 👍👍
@ I don’t have a fish knife, I’m shopping there Saturday and will sharpen my knife before hand if it doesn’t work then I’m shopping for a fish knife. Thanks for the tip.
Where exactly are the savings? I don't get it. These prices are no different from the supermarkets. The meat is no cheaper than Aldi and maybe $1 a kilo cheaper than coles and Woolworth if not on special.
Hi there, if I see any I'll let you no. I've never seen canned cinnamon rolls before, but I believe they have had cinnamon rolls in the bakery a while ago
gaday Goody Yum Yum great video keep up the great work Goody Yum Yum COSTCO Australia is good it's a bulk buy wear house great channel im new here there is a COSTCO ware house in Epping
Yesterday when we were at Costco my son wanted a chocolate ice cream. It wasn't listed on the ordering screen but swirled was, so I asked. The couldn't believe it wasn't there but she told me no one was ordering the chocolate and now she knew why! Our Pumpkin pie is $5.99 american.
If it wasn't for outrageous costs of basic, electricity, gas, water, telco, petrol, rates, etc. and how duopoly supermarkets charge veggie items by the "each" and not by the kg, meat would be consumed more often as we once did. You'd be horrified, how in general, our costs of veggies are trending ridiculously high per kg (and how scales have disappeared). $10/kg for tomatoes! Try weighing a mini cauliflower by the each, the sums will drop your jaw for the $/kg. Excessive other costs are why we refrain from buying meat as we once did. Meat is expensive to make, unlike veggies, so should always more expensive than vegetables. Meat proteins, vitamins and fat is one of nature's essentials and should be consumed as required and not restricted by what's left over in the budget. It's just a pity that this is unfortunately our reality, thanks to monopolies, shrinkflation and inflation. Costco meat seems more affordable, enough to attract me to buy from there, with their cut variety looking great. I for one, am re-justifying meat's inclusion into my shopping cart, replacing over-inflated priced veggies. Isn't it strange though, that my Aussie brother in Singapore can buy quality Aussie steak cheaper there than what we can here... we are truly getting ripped here, and it's not just meat!
the mince at 10 bucks a kg is reasonable, but gee the rest of its a bit expensive compared to what I can get at local wholesale butcher. cant believe pork belly is 17 bucks a kg now. and pork scotch for more than 12 is highway robbery.
🤣🤣 I only use an old GoPro 7 that doesn't have a forward facing screen (to see when I film myself), so I've been avoiding being on camera, but my husband bought me a new GoPro for my birthday so now I can film myself. Mum and I are trying to psyche ourselves up to appear on camera in a video before Christmas, so faces coming soon 👍
I think I saw mainly grain fed. I think most big supermarkets do mainly grain fed, best to look at a local butcher for grass fed. I don't think most people could afford the grass fed.
36 for Perth, WA today. You know when your mum loves a sample ,she talks about it straight away. I think that if you didn't get your regular supplies ,your lads would be disappointed, ie hubby and son. 🌤👋💕from Perth.

There were lots of nice samples on this trip 😋 we were both very surprised with the pumpkin pie 👍
Thank you ! ❤have a good day love your videos
The Bestpoke brand potato scollops/potato cakes are delishous. They are mini ones. 10mins @ 200oC in the airfryer!
I was wondering if they were nice, I’ll have to try some next time.
@ yes I would recommend them. If you have a Kmart microwave toasty you can cook them in there as well.
@@merrilday5344 I have an air fryer, so might try that
No lamb loin chops at Costco Canberra for weeks. The saw broke, parts didn’t fit, so the wait continues. Crazy!
That's the first time I've seen a plastic bag in a while most places use the paper stuff now
I now feel tempted to try Pumpkin Pie. If it is similar to caramel, I may like it. Thank you for the video!

Are they going to have dinner when they get home ?
I think it’s cheaper to shop at Cole’s or woolies.coscos not worth the prices.

Hi there, I was wondering if you check on Cinnamon rolls/Caned Cinnamon rolls in your next visit to Costco.

Biscoff cheesecake is divine. Freezes well too

Looks good on the meat, but it would be cheaper just to go to your local Butcher then travel that distance.
Listen to your cardiologist when you go food shopping ! Very little healthy goods in that trolley !
Woolies in my area are all empty shelves at the moment looks like everything is at Costco lol
where is your wrist bone?
ALDI HAVE THE DUCK FAT ROAST POTATOES,NOT SURE IF ITS 5OO GRAMS OR A KILO FOR 3.99,AND THEY ARE GREAT
Did you see a chocolate pie? Or just pumpkin?
I only saw the pumpkin pie, chocolate pie sounds nice though, I'd give that a try 🤣🤣😋
@@GoodyYumYum same lol
Where's the grass fed beef, tastes so much better 😁 bit rich for my pocket.
❤❤❤
How do people afford to eat meat, geeez so expensive
@jeremys.travels + membership has a cost
Exactly🤦♀️
We're usually just a mince, chicken or pork family. I don't know how people can afford those fancy steaks. Maybe for restaurants?? 🤔
Eat only meat and eggs, one meal a day. You don't spend money on other food so it balances out

Must be Friday😀
Costco and most supermarkets have some crazy prices, families cant afford to eat let alone celebrate Christmas🙄🙄🙄
There's been a huge rise in food bank usage this year, the cost of living is getting quite scary for many 😢
@ yes and it isn’t just meats, parents can’t even afford fruit for their children in Australia 🤷♀️

Any turkey buffet? That's no legs, no wings.
I only saw the whole turkeys there
@GoodyYumYum thank you 😊
Do we ever get to see your face 😂 would be nice to put a face to the voice

Haven't brought lamb cutlets in years they've always been overpriced
TIP Nothing to save here same price as local supermarkets Nescafe 500grm wed $14/18 fri 36 xd
I think a lot of meat would be thrown out.
The fresh dolmades are not very nice. They are dry.
😡😡 STILL BLOODY EXPENSIVE 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
This is money from aL and Diana 😝😝😝😝😝
Not worth the membership..
I live near ceduna and the meat isnt much different in cost
Do they have any meat that ISN'T grain fed? All I'm seeing is grain fed.... Grass fed is the best quality.
