Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 - January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

We are blessed to have access to such Godly men and there sermons over 100 years since it was first spoken. I hope many will take advantage of the wisdom of the past, when many celebrated the Bible and being Christian. It feels that light is leaving the world, but we are commanded to be the light for others. God Bless us, everyone.

They may get worse before they see their great need of The Glorious Resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ; but as we Pray and Believe, The Holy Ghost will move on them. Our prayers of faith are Powerful in pulling down strongholds; praying is the greatest thing that we can do! As we Pray and Believe, The Spirit of God does the work!

Thank the Lord Jesus Christ, For this pastor who truly devoted and committed himself to the Lord Jesus Christ. He was devoted to God not himself and money. But he sat his mind on things above and not things of this earth that is perishing. Theses are the only teaching ,I have been listening too. Its sad I have to go back to the eighteenth hundreds to hear the unadulterated word of God. God knew he would theses sermons to bless his people, till his return. Thank you Jesus. And thanks to those who has taken the time to make them available. God Bless all in Jesus Christ name.

My greatest desire would be that none should PERISH eternally, but repent, recieve Christ, & know Him intimately for themselves. Then, i would desire to know God intimately 24/7, be fully aware of Him, and share fellowship as close as he would let any person (even as close as Jesus is to the Father & God Holy Spirit), and then my third greatest desire would be fully free and fully matured in Christ... as we would be when we are fully transformed/glorified. Face to face with Jesus forever. My fourth greatest desire is as Ps. 73:25-26... That God would be my greatest desire/delight above all things in the heavens and in all the earth.

The thing the unbeliever fails to appreciate is that the same God who they avoid created joy;He's the source.He knows what will give us joy.It may not be what our next door neighbor is running after. That the world says,"As happy as a sand boy",puts a question mark on it's own wisdom and values.I believe that,as we see in Romans Chapter one,the spiritual laws are similar to the natural or science. It's all about cause and effect.Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. No one else can truly make this type of promise.
