I never comment on YT videos, but had to do in this one. Thanks for your final message, man. I don't know how to even boil a fucking egg. But you made me go to the kitchen and try stuff. Thanks again.
You can really see the hard work going into every video. You deserve much more subs. Keep up the good work. And i wouldnt be mad if you could do some more asian food ^^
Hands down one of the simplest, most useful, and different cooking channels I've come across and easily my favorite. Learned tons so far and I'm excited to see what I learn from you next!
I've got no sunlight for growing herbs outdoors, and my bratty cats will tear apart any plant within reach, so for me garnishing has always required deliberate forethought. But recently I finally installed some LED grow lights in a cabinet, put terra cotta pots in a waterproof $1 container from Target, and bingo bango, I've got fresh herbs on demand.
What can I say? I been looking around the internet for a long time. My father and both my brothers are cooks. It's in our family's blood. My older brother owned 2 restaurants and honestly... I feel so close to your way of doing things. Because cooking is intensely and intimately related to who you are, i appreciate the way you respect and behave with food There's a link between you and something almost sacred. A kind of beauty that resides deep in every person and that manifests when, and it's rare, one manages to communicate emotions through a medium that is not supposed to. You breath soul into your food. Not your recipes. Your food. The way it's brought to life reveals a lot on a chef and I feel so close to the philosophy of cooking you display... Of cours I will keep on following. Can't wait. Thank you Joshua and see you on your next video.
Josh I'm from the future. At this time you have 200k subs, but in the year 2022 you have over 6 million. All thanks to your hard work. Be proud of what you have accomplished. I bought your book and loved it.
I don't now how your motivation keeps going but Im happy for you, but in this message I really want to thank you for your content and the time and effort you put in this! Thank you chef. Really
Hi Joshua, started following you before 50k I'm a professional chef and as soon I saw one of your video I thought that you would had a great success on youtube, and i wasn't wrong! My compliment you are funny and good in choosing music, making picture and ofc cooking, hope the best for you ;)
Being a chef myself, i sometimes get frustrated about how certain restaurants plate their dishes. Just some small things can make the difference. For example just simply throwing some vibrant green parsley on a dish can change the appeal of the dish by miles. So it doesn't have to be all fancy pancy to actually look good... sigh... simple details man.... simple details.... thats it. Great video!!!
Man I love your videos! I try some of your recipes, getting better with every attemp (I'm still not very good) and still learning. You keep me motivated, I just wanna say thank you for all the good work and effort you put in yours videos, Keep it great! Saludos desde Argentina.
I want you to know this videos are awesome and do you ever plan on doing a meet up with your fans. cause I think it would be awesome to ask you cooking tips in person. Also I hope I am not coming off as thirsty I just think your videos and work is great.
You, Alex, Guga, and chef John make things so approachable that I think, oh! Of course I can try that! And I do. And they work, not as beautifully as yours, but enough that my friends and family go, damn, girl! Thank you for your encouraging and informative videos.
I know I’m super late to this party, but that final message really meant a lot to me. I have been devouring your content (after your cross-over with Babish :D ) and your stuff has made me feel so much more confident to just get up and cook. Thanks Josh, you rock.
Dude, you are so awesome and inspiring, i have loved everything i have seen since i susbscribed, i must thank you for producing such amazing content, from the production quality, to the simpleness, to how in depth you talk about cooking, the passion you show, everything about you is awesome, i thank you for providing us with your channel, you truly deserve more subscribers
There TOTALLY is. If you dollop. If you spread over edges. If you spead in a weird pattern. If you keep in the lines and even then you are generally right if your avocado is ripe.
Thanks so much for this, seriously. I really, really needed it. I’ve recently had so much trouble with my appetite that I struggle to eat even my favourite foods. Because of this I looked up tips on stimulating and increasing appetite, and a lot of them are actually mentioned in this video. Pretty colours and textures, big and uncrowded plates, not simply chucking everything in a bowl and mixing it up... all tricks for getting people interested in their food. Proper nutrition is a key component of physical and mental health. It’s *so* important, and I have been trying to cook more so I can eat (and feel) better. A few weeks ago (I’m Canadian, sorry) I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my family. It actually really discouraged me, because while everyone was raving about how delicious everything tasted, to me it was inedible. After all those hours of work, I ended up eating a couple of tablespoons of stuffing, and going home to cry. But I realize now that making food is not the same as serving food. I sat staring at a dozen different dishes on the table, and never actually made myself a plate. All this to say that I’ve been gearing up to try again at cooking myself some nutritious food, and this is exactly the encouragement I needed. Again, I really can’t thank you enough. Edit: all my tweezers are medical tweezers...
While watching this I am cooking my Famous (among me myself and I anyway) Black Chili and Adobo Chicken soup! Yeah, I just chop that black chili pepper (dried, and minus seeds) flesh right into the soup with the mirror qua...(did I spell that wrong?) and it turns that broth into a beautiful reddish color, which the orange and green of the carrots and celery compliment wonderfully...and yeah, it's got that spicy kick that goes well with a hot chicken soup in chilly weather to warm yer cockles! It looks like Christmas in a bowl! Did I mention I love your channel? :D
Love this channel :) love the food, the tunes, the Weissman. That said, let's see a falafel recipe. Also, a working website with written wrecipes, wplease.

Oh and I meant to ask, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you make a video on how to properly cook chicken breast? My meat thermometer is a liar and I’m always left with an utterly dry, chewy, shameful chicken breast. Josh, please save me from crying on my pillow for 30 minutes every time I want a proper Cesar salad or something! 😭😭😭
Yo idk if it's the ✨ouid✨ talking or what but you really just inspired me at the end there, I work in a small town kitchen but I've never worked with meat not even at home (I'm also not vegetarian/vegan) and I've always been scared I wouldn't cook it right so I never tried but NOW? I'm finna cook up some nice chops for vday, thank you Josh ❤️
Hey Joshua. I know you may not see this coment, but I was looking for some videos trying to get inspiration for my cookings, since I'm going on the casting phase of MasterChef in my country, and the outro from this video just struck me on a different level. Thank you for that, really. Plus, I'm going to adapt one of your pureés, if that's okay. I follow you for so long already. Hope you keep it up! Cheers
