I love the self talk, humming and little sounds you make as you're working and thinking. I'm constantly mumbling, humming and making odd little sounds while I work! It helps me focus, but also helps me keep my emotions light hearted when I inevitably muck something up. Good to know I'm not alone!
absolutely. not sure why those things work, some people need silence to concentrate. i can't if it's too quiet...hmmm.. now, i hope i didn't already ask you but would you mind subscribing to my channel? it's free, it just helps the channel and me. i assume the tutes are spread further, i know people always ask. anywho, thanks tons in advance! hugs, d
Hi Mrs Donna, Very interesting tutorial. I found the foil part very cool, I haven't tried this technique before. And i agree so much with you regarding the oval jump rings, their cut is on their side making the joining with the piece much safer. 🤗❤️
Gorgeous per usual Donna ❤ I’ve made a number of your projects which turned out beautifully.. this one is on my to do list. I salute you with my margarita 🍸🙏🏽
Happy Sunday Donna, what a great surprise. I love love love watching you create. I've learned so much from you. Your personality is such a pleasure! Thanks for sharing your gifts. I def need to look into taking an official class. Traci B ( Sumter, South Carolina)
Hey Donna, FYI, you have a segment at 19:20 where it repeats the one right before. It's the part where you are rolling the beaded curtain cane. I thought it was groundhog day for a second there! Also, the beep from your device, whether computer or phone is likely a notfication that you got an email. You can turn that off by going to System Preferences (the gears icon) and look for notifications. The next step is look for the email application, likely Apple Mail, and select that, near the bottom there will be a check box to Play Sounds and you can uncheck that. I think if you don't want any sounds playing for notifications, for any applications, you can back up to the first screen in the Notifications and somewhere near the bottomof the panel there is a check box for Play Sounds on all notifications, and you can UNCHECK that. Hope this helps you! Cheers and thanks for your fun class! ❤
@@DonnaKatoArt Yes, there's no rest for the weary. It might be that you unwittingly repeated the video segment by dragging too far to the right. But I'm just guessing actually. It's been a while since I mucked about with video editing.
OH WOW that is just gorgeous. Where i live we have or used to have JAzz festival each year and they reminded me of them not sure why. But you could do these in soo many colours. I wonder though with that off cut of the beaded curtain you had, could you roll that up and cut it so make little circles to add to the piece or to something else ??
Hi Selene, yes, this design could be worked in many colors and different canes, it does go on and on. Now, I'm sorry I don't understand the rest! It's hard to describe what we think sometimes - can you amplify?
@@DonnaKatoArt i am sorry sometimes i can;t describe things well umm lets see. Roll the off cut of the beaded curtain you said * i think* you didnt know what to do with, into a log and then cut it, place the small cuts on a smal sheet of clay and make a venner out of it. Hope that sounds a little better :D
Okay, now, i’ve been buying the foil for nail art and foil that is sold as heat transfer foil. The product was used for tee shirts (remember the bright, shiny tees from the 90’s?) well, that’s it. I buy from Temu but Wish or pandahall will have it. The stuff is cheap if you buy from China. Lisa Pavelka sells some. Michaels sells their own line and they’re more pricy. I hope this helps,,,😊❤️
The sound you hear is the sound on your computer when you get an email. :) The way to know for sure, take note of the time you hear the sound and when you can check your emails to see if you got one at that time. You can change the sound by going to your notifications and turning off the notification for email.
Donna what is Blackout made from? Same or similar to your Black Polymer Clay? I've seen a few other Artists mention it. How do you know how much to mix in, just add to scrap until it mixes into very black clay? And is it compatible with the other brands of PC (in case you might have a few bits of other brands lying around 😅)
Hi Deb! Blackout is polymer clay with a heavy load of black pigment. You add some, mix. Repeat because there is no way to tell you exactly how much you need (that depends on your scrap color). 😊❤️
Hello! You know mine is very old and Jones Tones doesn’t exist anymore. I think Lisa Pavelka sells it in her line. She did and if it’s still manufactured, she would have it. Cheers! D😊❤️
Question about the foil. I am having trouble finding the right product. Amazon sells Mylar foil sheets but it states it is not for transfer? Can you offer any clarity for me. Nothing worse than buying products and finding it's not the right one. Thanks Donna ❤
Hi Nana! I am ordering some from Temu and I will let you know. So much cheaper, I think. Mine is sooo old, Jones Tones isn’t even in business anymore! 😊❤️
