I saw on another video we’re they put their block in the refrigerator for just a little while to firm up the polymers in the clay. I have not tried, but thought I would share. I love watching what you make and I don’t think you talk to much, cause it makes me feel more apart of what you’re doing. Gorgeous!!!
Yes, that’s a common method, that really doesn’t work as well as you might hope. It’s ok to let it rest/put in fridge for a little while, but you still have to work quickly, because as soon as you get your hands on it, it starts to warm up very quickly. Thank you!
Putting it in the fridge works great for me! Also, making sure you use a sharp blade. Cernit mixes well with Kato, which is a much stiffer clay, also helpful.
I’ve never heard of Shattukite before so I have no idea how close you came, but I don’t really care because I absolutely love the results! You are a master at layering and combinations without getting it muddy. That stone like donut cutter was amazing. I need to check out her store. Thank you as always for sharing your talent 🙏💗🤗
Morning. I'm from South Africa in Johannesburg. I love your humor...and the honesty you display. Your work inspires me . I was a teacher but now retired and love playing with Polymer Clay. We might not have all the products you use, available at our art shop...and I'm quite a drive from them. Hope you have a wonderful day!! Eliza
😂 “It turned out a bit purpleish” - that is literally the main reason why I clicked on the video, because of the purple in it. Good job, thank you for sharing your technique. I like the video!
A wonderful tutorial! I love the colours and depth you achieved in these pieces! Thankyou so much for featuring my cutters - especially love the outcome of the circle stone 😍🧡
I truly love how deep the layers look.. It truly makes sense why the different piles and how they go together.. really gives it so much more depth to the stone. Take a bow my dear girl 🎉😊
If Pardo was just a touch cheaper, it use it so much more often! For now I'm a premo girlie who occasionally grabs a fimo for their specialty clays and Pardo when I want to use a plain uncoloured translucent. Having said that, I'm hoping to place my first order of Kato soon. If I like it (which I probably will having seen others use it) I'm thinking I'll keep Kato as all my base colours with some black out and conditioner as well. I have to agree with others in saying your faux stones are some of the most accurate I've seen! You really have developed a skill for this.
Deb you've done it again. This is another faux stone that is spot-on for accuracy. No other youtube artist has your ability and I am so glad. Judy wants a cabochon of this to wire-wrap for a pendant. Kudos to you. 👌💥💯
Thanks Deb! Love this project! Spent this past week in Vegas at the Glass Craft and Bead Expo for some creative inspiration but not too many polymer clay courses. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!
WoW toujours impressionnée par vos résultats vraiment magnifiques ! C’est toujours une bonne nouvelle quand je vois arriver vos vidéos 🥰merci pour tout votre travail que vous partagez 🙏🏻✨💙
Love these colors!! I find Pardo so difficult to work with. I love the results here, though!! Maybe I just need a bit more practice with that particular brand. Another great tutorial, thank you, Deb!
Deb did I miss it or maybe you didn’t show it because it didn’t come out right but did you show the one you shaved the top off and weren’t thinking it would turn out right? Honestly, you are the best person to turn to if you want to make a stone for a specific piece from polymer clay. I don’t get why you don’t have many more subscribers? Come on everyone, share!! Love your work my friend. ✌🏻🤍🤞
I did show the piece, I just forgot to mention that it didn’t do anything. More subs? I have 29,000. I think that’s pretty good lol Thank you! I appreciate your kind comment 💜
Beautiful! I would love to replicate this. Love the color! Would you know what color clay I could use close to those colors in premo and alcohol ink with ranger or piñata alcohol inks? I don’t use pardo and don’t have cernit alcohol inks. 🤷🏻♀️
Another brilliant tute Deb.❤️ I hope you don’t mind my asking….. on your storefront there is a picture of abalone shell on black clay. Did you make a tute of that piece, or have I dreamt it? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a tute🙁
Hi. I hope you are well. I am still looking for a large tile as a surface, got all the rest of 'ingredients' lol. I do have a large glass chopping board i don't use, can i ask you if i could use that instead of the tile? Thank you as always, i think this going to be way put of my league for years 😮. Take care🤗🇬🇧
You didn’t point out the one where you put the lines in the top. I thought that was brilliant and I want to see the baked version. Maybe you didn’t like it so much?
I used:

It’s so nice to see someone using Cernit and Pardo!
Amazing! Every tutorial is better than the last one. You are so very much appreciated. ❤
Love the colors. Donut is my favorite. Absolutely STUNNING Deb. 😍 ❤Gail
Wow! That was neat! I have never seen making jewelry out of clay. Those were very pretty pieces. You are very talented! ☺
Thank you!

This is just lovely! Thanks so much for teaching us your methods
I love this technique. They came out so beautiful thank you for sharing. I’m looking forward to trying this on my own.

I’m a Premo girl. Cernit and Pardo have their uses. I don’t like Kato, or Fimo. Each to their own.

These are lovely!
Thank you ❤️
Love these colors!! I find Pardo so difficult to work with. I love the results here, though!! Maybe I just need a bit more practice with that particular brand. Another great tutorial, thank you, Deb!
Pardo is harder to work with, but when it’s just small pieces, and it’s being mixed into a softer clay, it’s not so bad.
Thank you ❤️

You’d have to figure that out for yourself
This is beautiful... I am having a terrible time finding a good resin.. what do you reccommend?
It’s listed in my Amazon storefront
Another brilliant tute Deb.❤️ I hope you don’t mind my asking….. on your storefront there is a picture of abalone shell on black clay. Did you make a tute of that piece, or have I dreamt it? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a tute🙁
Thanks you ❤️
There is no tutorial for that.
LOVE!!!!
I like the heartBut the Donut shape is my Favorite would like to purchase it ...hope they sell it on Amazon

Glass is fine
❤❤❤
So was it the first one that had the turquoise translucent on top of it? I couldn’t really tell much of a difference
Yes. It didn’t do anything, and I forgot to point it out.
When you resin a piece with rounded edges like that, how do you get the sides so smooth with no resin pulling away from the edge?
I don’t resin the edges, I sand them.
@@clayboutique Wow, they look so smooth and nice I thought you had somehow put the resin over the edges. You do such nice work!
Thank you.
No, I don’t resin edges, it’s too much like hard work. I resin, then sand the edges to give them a smooth and beveled finish.
Is Pardo softer than Premo?
No. Pardo is harder.
Where did you get that ring?
What ring?
You didn’t point out the one where you put the lines in the top. I thought that was brilliant and I want to see the baked version. Maybe you didn’t like it so much?
It’s the fat tear drop shape. I did show it, but forgot to mention. It did nothing lol
Aha!!! Well it was a worthy experiment anyway. Thanks Deb.
I’ve used that same technique in quite a few videos, but the trans on top of trans just didn’t work.
😂
?
I also wanted to ask, how are you enjoying your new studio?
I love it! It’s so clean and functional!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks!
Wow, thank you so much!
