This is a amazing knife and I want it so bad. Honestly I never thought I would find a knife that is this interesting but subtle while super flexing at the same time. This guy can really make a knife! Thanks for the video man.
Way out of my price range and not exactly my style, but boy do I LOVE those thumb studs and that flipper tab; especially the way those thumb studs align with the scales when opened.
Stud alignment, decor etc...look great when done with care and attention,as we've just seen. If they're done in a haphazard manner,it doesn't help if it's the best knife ever made,it'll still look like shit! Expensive shit but stil...........
I would also never go for this aesthetic, but after watching this and getting an idea of the deployment, build quality, etc .. I would LOVE to buy this knife! Amazing tool there. Price isn't that bad for what it seems to be! Wish they were in stock! Also, love that it looks small and has a 3.25" blade!
At least the Barnes that is $600 is made by reate. Still overpriced I believe but it is a quality oem on that one. And it is an integral so maybe not as bad as I initially thought
Sounds about as dumb a statement as I told my buddy lol. I told him I only use my knives to open up other knives that come in the mail. It's rough man lol
See and for me this was one of the knives I had to have. I swear it felt like years had gone by before I received mine. And I prefer this knife over so many I own. I even put my CKF knives away. I will admit though I have a TwoSun that I have fallen for. I go after unique designs. I left traditional knives behind somewhere back in the late 80's. This one is well build and is make by a precisionist as far as I am concerned. Every aspect is well th thought out and executed! Yep this knife is for many people a very expensive knife indeed. But let me add a bit to my last statement and give you something to think about. I have been collecting knives forever. Many knives you order , they come in and are interesting for a little while. This is one knife that will take you so far past ordinary that you will never grow tired of it. It is a worthy investment! I assure you.
Everything was perfect about this knife for me except the pocket clip. Very hot spot into my palm. A little tweak is all it needs. Bothered me so much, I sent mine back.
Agree. Worst feeling clip I've ever encountered. I can't believe this was the final design. He could have done it like the Kwaiback and it would have been fine.
I actually LOVE this aesthetic. I’m from ‘72 so I was a young teen in the 80s and this really has the angular feel of what was cool then. Add on to that all the excellently implemented features you’re showing and I so want this to be my first big ticket knife. Of course I’m going to give it some time, but it really is so cool. I’ve bought a few “budget” knives to figure out the kind of features and blade types that would actually be a good fit for me and how I use them. Trying to avoid buyers remorse on anything north of $100. :)
@@njo9966 I just meant that it was sleek, minimalist probably wasn't the best term (to say the least). It has minimal pokey bits that will tear clothes, fingers, other pocket denizens.
Wow... NJO and Panorama, you two need to back up. How about you let him define what he sees in that knife his own way? Both of your responses were ridiculously elitist. Really hard to read. Seriously, get up from your pretend throne once in a while 🤦♂️
A tool a viewer made out of an f150 truck spring. I have a series called "quest for the perfect unboxing knife" that will explain why i have it. Its in a playlist👍
I'm pretty surprised you didn't talk about the clip as a hotspot. The edge of the clip is quite sharp and slightly angles upwards. I wish he would have used the Kwaiback flat design or even something like on the Begg Bodega. I'm on the verge of returning mine.
This may have jumped to the top of my list. That new Spartan 3.25" though is I'm the lead at the moment. This thing looks sweet. Love the multiple forms of deployment! Great video, thanks!
I think that is super bad ass! So unique and good looking. If I had the money right now id buy one immediately. It’s futuristic looking with out sacrificing functionality. It looks amazing. I’m gushing as if I’m holding it. I’m sorry but dam that’s beautiful!! Love it! love it! love it! So my style!
Now that is a very nice knife. Definitely agree the aesthetics are a bit odd, but it still looks amazing, and that has to be the single smoothest deploying flipper I've ever seen.
That knife is stunning in its quality and if I had not seen it I might not have "Gotten it ". Some things are just so well made that they impress the sh!t out of you. Just looking at a picture wont cut it.
Ps. 23 is not the blade steel, but it means Psalm 23, one of the most well known passages in the bible. The company making these knives is Christian, and is not afraid to show it in their work. A lot of respect there.
Why do the better made knives not close well? ALmost every time you tried to close it the blade kept bouncing back out of place. I see this in a lot of reviews and the reviewers all seem to ignore it. Having a knife that doesn't stay closed when you close would drive me crazy.
If you close it like a normal human being, it's fine. We're all doing the completely unnecessary "fidget close" and the action is so smooth, the blade bounces back out of the detent hole due to the impact. There's nothing wrong with it. That's why it seems like we're all "ignoring" it.
That blade is frickin beautiful...I bet it costs WAY more than it's worth though...if I'm wrong, I apologize, but I'm guessing at the 3:07 mark that it's in the ridiculous 200 dollar range.
I’m sure someone else mentioned it, but I didn’t see it scrolling through the comments. It may be a reference to Psalm 23. “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death ..” Some religious business owners include this reference somewhere on their products. In and Out famously printed it on the rim of the underside of their cups. I noticed someone mentioned Ps 23 as a steel type for barrels but the spec sheet says CPM-20CV, so maybe that’s not it. I’m still really new to the knife scene so I have a mountain to learn, but my first association to Ps 23 is the chapter from the Bible. Edit: I guess I should have finished the video before writing a comment. Doh!
Very cool knife. I love my Hoback Snecx Buster. I know people already told you what Ps23 is, but it was a little misleading on this knife since he usually puts it on the handle but he put it on the blade this time.
Nope I have kids that need a lot. I have a prepaid cell. But back to the knife? Is it heavy? I have several Hoffman richter knifes that I love. But looking for something durable but also sleek, but most of all light, my Hoffman flip feels like 2 pounds
These are NOT made in the USA. China OEM.

How does this guy upload so much gees
Strict schedule
I love your vids though the showcase is really awesome
Doesn't look like a hoback but love it, and the ps 23 is for psalm 23 (The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.) he does this on all his knifes
@@TheJudgeofLevelstm don’t be so sensitive.
@@TheJudgeofLevelstm What's disgusting, the Psalm 23 reference?
@@TheJudgeofLevelstm haha what a troll. Or a ding dong!

There are plenty in stock now
I can feel how smooth the knife is through the video. Watching that blade drop out when hitting the button was amazing
Tell The James Brand to take notes
You mean bond
I hate the James Brand’s prices

Psalms 23. I Love this knife!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
How come you don't see if it is sharp if the edge is a little toothy or polished, shaving or working edge? Paper cut test?
How does it fit in hand? The handle seems smaller for larger hands???
Ps23: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want”
Fitting since it's a sheeps foot!

Great seeing another grown man get so excited about a knife. Great video
“Ps23?!! I’m gonna guess that’s the steel…” 😆😜🤪
Check the date on the video. I figured it out a while ago 😉

Love to get my hands on one of these based solely on your reaction. Not totally my aesthetic either but that action looks like baby oil across silk.
Is your watch a Sumo (Seiko) as well?
Beautiful craftsmanship
Agreed!
Told my wife that I got my Hoback, now I need a divorce lawyer
😂🤣
You wouldn't need a divorce lawyer if you hadn't made the mistake of getting a wife.
Yer better off with the Hoback!
@People’s Voice How much does SHE spend on shoes, fake-up, jewelery, corks etc...??!!??

Is that blade polished or stonewashed. I’m new guys sorry

Wow, really nice looking knife. I love the functionality with the -minimalist- sleek nature of it all.
What about this knife is minimalist? It seems about as far from minimal as a knife can get.
