They do now that the controversy has unfolded with Jake Hoback. I made a video about it in my "knife guy" playlis. (Be Transparent is the name of the upload)
WOW all of those knives are amazing and awesome! That SUMO is talking to me. The Choppa is insane. I love the Starry Night scales, they are so Van Gogh. Love all three!!
That "starry night" micarta looks amazing. Its most likely done by layering multiple colors of linen/canvas/etc. Not sure Ive ever seen scales done that way tho. I actually really dig it, I like seeing knifemakers try new processes/innovation with traditional materials.
That fixie is the mp6. The choppa has the straight spine and no hole. They all in the same family though. I love my mp6 for the same reason...looks cool and those sharp edges! Not your typical knife.
@@rebellucy5610 i usually use thumb studs or reverse flick, so the smaller flipper tab shouldn't be too much of an issue for me. Thanks for the info though, didnt even think about the size of the tab being a possible issue
That sumo is a sweet design. Makes me start thinking... but not actually considering... If that 'Starry Night' micarta is from where I think it is, the Knife Junkie did an interview/conversation with the guy who created it. Incredible work. Pretty pictures
The Sumo is definitely available right now at DLT. Just used your link to pick one up. The day after I bought a Brown LHC-X from Knaf Sergeant and I told myself I was done buying anything over $250 for a while. Dammit! haha
@@metal_complex they've got 3 different versions. All in stock at the moment. You should probably go pick one up for yourself, you know you want to haha.
Starry night is sick Ye olde cutlery has a few in stock if you have the cheddar. Nice... I'm a big fan of art... this speaks to me. I hope they do more runs of other artists and school's of art. Love to see some dada inspired knives or surrealist... Like I said very very Kool.
I get lock stick on my sumo that increases with intensity the harder I flip it out...is that normal for your sumo?or should i send it in for adjustment?
@@rskrzz6233 the fact of the matter is the maker was lying about where they were made just because you one of the clowns that got juked by him & don't get mad at others because you spent $600 on a Chinese production knife when you thought you were buying a custom . Maybe you should be quiet you the one replying to my comment no go to your room & play with your draw full of $600 Chinese knives clown 🤡
Starry night as a Siri of 12 paintings by Vincent van Gogh. It’s a complicated math problem that describe turbulence many years before anyone had a theory or consider a exclamation about turbulence. Vincent van Gogh painted those 12 paintings from inside his sell at a insane asylum
These are NOT made in the USA. China OEM.
Thanks for watching! My Patreon - www.patreon.com/metalcomplex
Knife center lists it as made in China

That fixed blade reminds me of a Norseman grind for some reason.
That fixed blade depending on price could make a good gift for my father on his horse ranch

Check out Three Rivers Manufacturing… great knives and they do a ton of scale designs like this
@@justinhensley6465 sweet 👍 finding them isnt so hard, its finding them for less than a black market kidney that i struggle with! 😂 lol

Just ordered my Sumo! Super pumped to get it, it looks like a fantastic knife from a fantastic company
I bought one when they first came out. They are pretty cool, but the flipper tab is very small. I had trouble opening it and ended up returning it.

The fixed blade Choppa is stunning.

Purchased the black and purple Sumo. Didn't even hesitate. Thanks MC
Those sumos look awesome. Wish they were a little bigger. 👍🏼
Agreed.
Loving your content man keep it up👍 hopefully the algorithm pushes your content to more people yo
Really nice. That fixed blade was a real shocker. It takes a lot for me to be taken back by a fixed blade. Props!
Is that a Duckbill spatula?
Can you show some left handed fidgeting of the sumo? Wanted to know how well it works left handed. Thanks in advance.
IF U MISS OUT ON DLT, Knifecenter has a few PURPLE or Gold/Tan ones

Is the sumo in satin or stone washed?
That Sumo is not something that is usually my style but damn is it sweet
Ordered a Sumo from DLT through your IG story yesterday, thanks for the heads up!
😁👍
What are some other button locks you recommend?

The Frenchman laugh at 8:00 😂
Damn it looks nice with the purple accents
Vincent Van Gogh "Stary Night."
C'mon Metal Complex!!!
Awesome I love the last knife. I want one now. Thank you!
Picked up a sumo today, can’t wait to get my hands on! 🙌🏽
I wonder if MC has ever seen micarta scales like that

@@metal_complex They are G-carta by G.L Hanson and Son
Ridges are so whatever your cutting be meat or cheese it won’t stick it the side of the blade as much
Deluxe. That is a lifetime knife. Very nice
could the ridges be a file-type component?
How crazy, I’ve been looking at some jack hoback knife!!
Wow those are really amazing models. Super nice
Sharpened prybar is right, I love it
Gcarta starry night 😂 in case nobody else mentioned it 🤣 that Sumo looks quite nice…
Starry night refers to the painting by Vincent van Gogh
So be carefull weilding the knife, it might cost you an ear.
I love Hoback knives, I have that exact sumo on the way can't wait.
P.s do a review on the Hoback Husky 🤙
Does the ZT0456 still hold up as a good mid range option in the world of overbuilt folders? Have an opportunity to buy one NIB for ~$200
Its a knife I still enjoy but I think u could get it at a lower price. I've seen it on knifeswap on reddit for as low as in the 120-170 range
The first one looks like it would be great for battoning
Can't wait to see the Hoback 5D Diamond scales
Love those color combos. Good stuff. 😝🔪🙌
Another cool thing about the sumo is you can use the studs as a wave when pulling it out of your pocket It's hard not to buy that fidget beast! 👍👊
Stary night is a van gogh famous painting.
I think the Choppa looks like a chunkier fixed blade Norsemen without the recurve lol
That’s what I was thinking
Just got a green a black sumo super pumped
You can also pocket deploy the sumo...super fidgety
Gotta love some van gogh
Did u know Hoback knives are made in china ?
who cares where theyre made in, if you dont like the knife, dont buy it.
you sure dont mind having your phone made in china so be quiet.

How has nobody made the connection look wise to that big fix blade and the norsemen
Lots of people have. The norseman blade has a recurve though
love that small one
shovel knife, and you're the shovel knight!
You definitely should send the purple Sumo to Slicey Dicey to look at, he would loose his mind!
That fixed blade looks like the edc for an Aztec warrior
Sumo available right now on DLT
The Choppa exists ... And people make horse jokes about the Norseman 😂😂
Starry Night is a famous painting
Is this made from Japan ??? Sir
No China.
The Sumo is such a cool knife. That Ps23 is a deal breaker unfortunately.
Sure is lol
definitely based on the starry night painting
Ohhh baby I really need to win the lottery lol, then again the collection I have in my head is massive lol 😘👍 stay safe and healthy M_C

Why does it look like pause the video at 7:56 I just had to be a little childish right their
I like that Sumo but can’t bring myself to pay $550 for a knife made in China.
Black Panther knife.😂😂
Now I want one.
Cool! 🖤💜🖤💜
Vincent Van Gogh's painting of Starry night
Yep. Much better description 👍
Interesting Sumo
No way in hell I’m paying 550 for the SUMO that’s nuts
The starry night scales are by @G.L._hansenandsons on Instagram
I have a knife similar to that. Even bigger. 10x better than using a machete when you're in the sh*t.
YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THE HUSKY!!!!!
Heck yeah
I'd probably get myself the sumo if it wasn't $550
Van Gogh
Im sorry but 500 for that knife is absurd.
Well all you have to do is not buy it. Everything will likely work out fine for you despite its existence 👍
23rd Psalm
Does anyone have any Hoback Sumo they would be willing to sell/ trade? If so let me know, Thanks!!!
