    Nice Vid. I too got a 2019 Triglide and I love it. The first thing you notice is, you're having fun again riding. No worries at U-turns, slow traffic or anything. Just fun riding again. And once you learn to keep your feet up at stops.....you have it made!! I rode from Michigan to DC on it, and it was the best ride ever. Even the Old Lady decided to come with me and she have not rode with me in over 15yrs.The only bad thing is, I'm still learning how it handle curves at speed. I ride with a MC and I take the curves on the Freeway a lot slower in the pack than I like, but I can and do catch up easily.Anyone with experience riding a Triglide and can give advice on Taking Curves At Speed, I will appreciated it.

      Gary I live in Pa with lots of twisted roads. Hard to explain but I will try. Best to push & lock elbow going around bends.pull as well.Going around I slip weight just a little opposite away from bend. Once the wheel is planted she will hold that apex. Seems odd but it works well when really jammin' hard... Figured that out on a run down in w.va. with several 2 & 3 wheeler's. Told the other trike riders to just slip their weight about an inch or so & both began enjoining the twisties... L turn slip wt. to R
      Ride one.

    Absolutely love mine. There is a little learning curve. Just as much fun as two wheels.

    I rode for fifteen years from the mid 1970s to the early 1990s. An "event" ended my riding career in 1991. I have a lot of metal in my left leg due to that "event", and frankly, I don't trust that leg to support a bike any more. A trike could allow me to return to riding. Thank you the video. This gives me something to think about.

    Great video, but I disagree on the going slow in corners. After you get used to it you can keep up with any of the baggers through the twisties. The best advice is just point the front end where you want to go, and expect it to take more effort the more you push it. They also rock back and forth a bit because of the relatively narrow track and the solid rear end, but that's normal. Some folks think it's unstable. Not.
    Edit: Our first trip on our '14 was from northern Ohio to Sacramento, CA and back. Had a blast, despite spitting snow and a desert sandstorm at 113 degrees!!!

    Great entertaining video. Got a Tri Glide last year after riding motorcycles for 40 years and absolutely love it. So stable and no worries about the weight when stopped and the luggage capacity is fantastic

      Most of the time it is going to our static caravan in Wales which is a round trip of 100 miles. Have been to my sisters chalet on the west coast of Wales which was over 100 miles away and found the trike extremely comfortable and relaxing to ride there and back

    8yrs. Riding Triglides after riding 2 wheeler's most of my life. Luv them, they are a blast.Had a'11 then updated to a '18 because of issues with heat. New rear shocks smoothed the ride out. In the Wind.

      Is it really much more fun than 2 wheelers? I am in the market for one. Is it a stable ride on the highway?

    • @budirwin9825
      @budirwin9825 4 роки тому +1

      E. 2wheelers give you a thrill all its own in bends which I called the dance. Trikes are very stable & I'm much more relaxed on the road against rain & cross winds. I would never go back, triglides are wider so your more visible to others. Living in N/W Pa plenty of twistes, my 2wheeler friends can't lose me. Great out on interstate too
      They are turning up everywhere & been seeing younger folk riding them probably cause they are a blast to ride. Ride on

    Great Video! Based on your review I bought the exact same Year and Paint . Love it. Traded my 19 Roadglide Ultra and do not miss the concerns of balance and off camber parking concerns at all. I've already put the stage II S/E kit with the Torque cam in it and actually am so impressed with the performance and fuel mileage. Have 1200 miles on it already and am running all synthetic thru out. My mileage riding 2 up is now between 43 and 45 MPG. Thanks for doing this great review.

    I own a 2009 Street Glide, and had a kid wipe me out after one year of ownership, the bike was rebuilt from frame up and now 10 years later its hard to ride anymore and brother you just sold me on getting this bike.
    I am gonna sell mine and get me one of these, I don't know if I am gonna wait till I get out of Kommiefornia or get it now. but i am getting one of these.
    My only worry was handling curves and you showed me the way. THANK YOU! Thumbs up to ya.

    On the 13th of October, 2020 I traded my 2010 TriGlide ultra in on a 2020 TriGlide ultra. Spent more than I was hoping too, but love it. My 103 had a stage 2 kit and the torque of the 114 stock is equivalent to the 103 with the stage 2. My wife has MS and the leaning of the motorcycle causes her vertigo. The trike fixes that and keeps us in the wind! And the trike is an upper body workout. The 2020 changed the rake angle which makes it steer easier than my 2010.

    • @garyjubar5733
      @garyjubar5733 3 роки тому

      On the older trikes (like my 2012) you can add a loft kit to your rear shocks. Raises the back end 11/2 " which changes the rake angle and makes it steer easier. Also lets you go over speed bumps without the exhaust tips hitting and it just plain makes the machine look better.

    Man you are one of the BEST..your video is so understandable even a dummy would get it..this video is like being in a classroom your delivery is so on point. Ok I have been interested in trikes for a minute,been to a H.D showroom and took a look. I have NEVER rode no kind of motorcycle before so this will be my first dance.I thought at first I wanted the Honda Goldwing trike but then I found out those trikes don't come from the factory trike built and I live near Augusta Ga and to my knowledge there are no Honda motorcycle dealers but on line there are some for sale. My thing is I would rather buy from a dealer. I plan to take the class cause I have NEVER RODE before and the trike is the only way out for me. I am 73 years of age and there is no way I'm gonna wrestle with a two wheeler so I need to get all the schooling before I make a purchase which I plan to do by the grace of God in April or May of next year,by then I should have all my ducks in a row lol. The Harley Davidson Trike is gonna be my choice..I know there are 2 that I like the Ultra Glide and the CVO trike but the Ultra Glide is the best route for me. again I gotta say your video is a str8 up winner and I just hit all the buttons in reference to your video.

    The steering dampener also limits your left & right turns to about 45 (or so) degrees which also helps prevent rollover.

      I suggest any upgrades done with deal. They will give you break on cost of parts & labor & will be covered as warranty items. Of coarse keep the parts they take off...
      Heated grips are a must when rain & cold out. Luggage rack if planning on long rides.Rear Bumper might save ya scuffing up body when backing in. Ride on
