  • The tie-rod and drag link on your steering system is one of most vulnerable components on you Jeep.In this video Quinn Thomas form All J Products in Big Bear Lake, CA explains why you need heavy-duty steering and how to install the RockJock CurrectLync Extreme Duty Steering System. This system is much stronger than the stock tie-rod and drag link. Serious rock crawling really requires a an upgrade like this.

Instead of drilling out your steering knuckle to accept a adapter and making the knuckle weaker, why didn't you just Rheem to the size of tie rod end, seems like the better way to go

So question...Does the tie rod rub against the brake rotor at all at full turn? Because I have a 2014 JK and installed this tie rod, cut away a piece of the brake dust shield, and the tie rod still rubs my rotors at full turn. I have a good little groove dug into both of my rotors because of it.

Dear Jeep 411 I am on the verge of upgrading my steering system on my Jeep JK. I leave in UAE and do a lot of dune bashing (desert driving) almost every weekend and I want to know how does Synergy jk steering system (the one used in the video) compare with Rock Jock JK 9703 Modular Extreme Duty steering system. Is it worth paying double the price for the Rock Jock.

Synergy is better than stock. But for extreme off roading like rock crawling or dune jumping, the RockJock is far stronger. Well worth the cost.
