      I thought your only allowed to do it for only 1 week once a month ?

    • @liselove_262
      @liselove_262 9 років тому +4

      Dana Cole I think she just meant aside from the inversion method, she also didn't wash her hair two weeks after, which made her gain extra growth. Because your right, it's only 1 week once a month.

    • @erinnwright6511
      @erinnwright6511 9 років тому

      You're also able to do every other week, or for 3wks straight, then off for like 10days.. Then do it again..... I didn't think it would work!

    • @liselove_262
      @liselove_262 9 років тому +16

      Also the "no shampoo" challenge helps encourage hair growth being that it isn't stripping the natural oils from your hair. You just wash your hair with conditioner of choice or cleansing conditioner. I did that for about a month and I seen results, about a solid inch 👍 My hair doesn't get extremely greasy so not using the shampoo wasn't a big deal for me but it was definitely kind of weird at first

    Hey! Ive been doing the inversion method for possibly about 5 months now. I do it a little differently. Here r some thing I do including this to induce hair growth: (1) whenever I shower my hair I leave my hair upside down and rub each product in my scalp throughly (2) every morning I rub my scalp to kinda wake up the follicle (3) I also do this method with a hair treatment and masque. By doing this my hair has grown about 4 inches which is so much for only 5 months. I have a similar hair texture to yours so im sure it could work for u nd wont hurt to try my hair is probably bra strap lenth now nd at the beginning of summer straightened it was touching the top of my arm pits hope this helps!!!

    Okay. I have a lot of thoughts about the inversion method, since I cut all of my hair off 2 years ago. I was looking for a way to grow it long and fast, but always thought that the inversion method was a scam. in feb of this year I was feeling desperate, so I tried it out for a week. I wasn't expecting 4-10 inches of growth like some people advertise, and i didn't even do it for a full week. BUT I GOT RESULTS!!! My hair actually grows extremely slowly, about 1/4 in. a month instead of 1/2 an inch. But since February, my ear lobe length hair is now down to my elbows. I do inversion for 5days- 1 week every month, and use coconut oil at least once, and every time my hair grows at least 2.5 inches. I'm amazed.

    Oh my goodness! We have the SAME hair! Length and everything! Mine is just darker, but I had to get half of my hair chopped off because it was super damaged and now my hair is the same exact length as yours was in this video and it is killing me! I can't even put my hair into my big bun that everyone recognized me for! LOL My hair came down to the middle of my back but it was super shredded at the ends and really needed to be clipped off so I mustered up the courage to let my cousin do it. Thanks so much for posting this video! I am about to try it this week along with taking hair, skin and nail pills or biotin. Hopefully my hair will perk up some speed in growing. I just really want healthy, long hair.

    I did this once like.. kind of.. like I did it 3x but not back to back days and I did the green house method all the time bc my hair was SUPER short like barely a tiny fro and then suddenly I HAD BIG LOOPY CURLS AND FORGOT HOW THAT HAPPENED BC I WAS SO INCONSISTENT. But yeah I use coconut oil all the time and not that my hair is almost to a mini bob after shaving it all off in August, I'm massaging in my scalp a lot more to keep my curls from matting up

    I've tried this before and it worked. I started in August as well and my hair grew 4 inches through December, BUT in Jan, my hair didn't grow and neither had it in Dec so...for this month, especially since it's a short one, i decided to abstain and will do so starting next month. I used to just warm a bowl of ACV and EVOO and pour it into 4 sections of my hair, allowing for a hot oil treatment hours after the inversion. After I stopped doing that, doing it at night and the winter being so cold, my hair hasn't grown since. SO, I'm hopeful. I usually get an inch every month!
    PS: my hair never returned back to normal after my 3rd keratin in July, so I haven't cut it, instead I want to grow it out...give it the full year to wash out, but If it doesn't I'll just grow and trim. We did so much research and I was super excited when this was done...oh well :(

    I've done this before, I strongly recommend olive oil or vegetable oils, for me it's the consistency that matters because my hair is not as curly but it is indeed curly and very thick and about the same length as yours without straightening it and I used very slimy gross oil, the more it can soak and not dry quick the better, don't wash your hair, you can inbetween the week but I recommend dry shampoo if you don't want it to smell or look greasy, because it just discontinues the process for a bit. And it'd be better if you get your whole hair so it concentrates more.

  • @Jade-ku5ri

    I've done this before too but everything I saw said to stay upside down for 4 minutes while massaging the oil on your scalp, not to just apply the oil then invert yourself, maybe next month you could try it this way and see which has more progress. :)

    Omg I'm sooo trying this!! I'm transitioning and my natural hair when pulled is longer then the relaxed but when I dont pull ut down its like half that (the shrinkage is real😂) hopefully this can make my transition faster
