    I use you guide all the time when uploading. I have a question though. If I want to add tracks to an existing pack how should I do it? I've been looking really hard without finding the answer. I tried to upload a new version but there was an error message about the game engine versions. Since I selected them all in the first version it didn't work. Any ides?

    why do you need to individually set them all to looping? Aren't devs given that option after importing?

    • @adammortonmusic
      @adammortonmusic  7 місяців тому

      You're right, you don't really have to, and devs can set it themselves if they'd like - but I want to make the asset pack as easy as possible for devs to use, so I take on the tedious task of clicking the looping button so they don't have to. Also, if it isn't set to loop and it reaches the end of the file, it abruptly ends and sounds "incorrect". All part of providing a quality music pack!

      @@adammortonmusic what if the dev doesn't want it to loop though? Isn't it based on some kinda assumption whether we loop it or not?

    • @adammortonmusic
      @adammortonmusic  7 місяців тому

      @@walled_city_98 If they don't want it to loop, they can uncheck it. But again, it will sound strange if it doesn't loop because the audio file was designed to loop.
      Another option is to create music assets with a looping and one-shot version, so that devs can then choose which file to use in a given scenario without having to change any settings.

      @@adammortonmusic thanks for the info! Think you can delete from g drive after this process?

    • @adammortonmusic
      @adammortonmusic  7 місяців тому

      No problem! Hmm, I'm not sure if you can delete afterwards. I don't know if they only use it for the initial review and download, or if it's used continually afterwards. Best to check their support page if you're unsure!

    hey bro, watching from my brothers youtube, but have you ever been declined? i got declined twice and it lead me to your video, im gonna go subscribe on my youtube bro, thanks for this! ill always remember you were the one who taught me lol

      Heyo! Yep, I got declined for two of my packs because they didn't meet the minimum amount of music for a pack (minimum 20 minutes across at least 10 tracks). Other reasons for rejection (on packs that eventually were approved) were:
      - I forgot to include a link to listen to the music (whether it's SoundCloud, UA-cam, or something similar)
      - I didn't include links to the individual packs that were part of my "Everything Collection"
      Did they give you any reason for rejection? Mine were thankfully very clear and easy issues to fix (they even sent the checklist and it said what areas were completed and what wasn't complete). Hope you can get your stuff approved soon! 🤟
