Hello Family welcome to MOTIF THE TRAVELLER
The Mathare Valley is located in the Eastlands of Nairobi, Kenya. It's the oldest and second largest urban slum in Kenya after Kibera. Mathare is over-populated. It covers 157 hectares starting from Pangani, down to Gitathuru river.
Mathare is a collection of slums in Nairobi with a population of approximately 500,000 people, Mathare is the home of football teams Mathare United and Real Mathare of the MYSA.

It's now 16 years since we vacated the area with my parents, I remember well we used to be dropped at math are number 10 from town center, then crossed a bridge somewhere down there heading the other side to mathare North,
