    A extremely well-thoughtout boat. Perfect for a couple to sail it and actually live even full-time on it. I like the dedicated Netflix nook and those almost ridiculously oversized countertop(consider it's a 70-foot sail boat!) in the kitchen. I can see the owner live just as comfortable as in his own house without compromising anything like watching TV or preparing food in a proper handy space.

      Furthermore, the specs are listed in a rather unappealing manner at the end of your video
      Most of the World adoppted the Metric System almost a Century ago.

    We just wish Yachting World would reflect the real Yachting World. Real affordable boats that the majority of those that want to live the dream can afford to sail, run, maintain, berth, and have a realistic perspective of owning. Teak decks are a nightmare the further south you go. They retain heat and and need constant maintenance. Complicated electronics are lovely but lack the ability for self maintenance. The last five years you guys have just become a platform for the unaffordable and unobtainable. There is no reality to your publication or output. Your probably just going to delete or block this comment but it would be good if you responded to real sailors that live in a Yachting World.........

      We show all types of sailing in the magazine. The majority of these videos though are from new yachts we get access to at shows and trials. We don't decide the market, but it has certainly become much larger and more and more high end in the new sailing yacht world in recent years. That said, stand by for a couple of more affordable new smaller yachts we're just editing up now!

    Comfort ratio of 17 this boat would be an absolute nightmare to sail in serious weather. With that much ballast that far down it would snap upright when in big seas, most likely sending the crew flying. Pretty yes. Bluewater...LMAO

    2,8 m draf keel up? Well this is not a cruiser I would like to sail...
    Very bad layout for such a large yacht.
    Look at that TV area. So close. And the navi station. What is that? Bavaria?
    This is a day sailer and nothing else...

    It's amazing how I disagree with you on every corner... literally.
    That cockpit is so big because they sacrificed the nav station. And even then I don't see how it's OOOOH SO BIG that you talk about it for five minutes. The galley is not "huuuge". It's a normal size galley for a boat this size. So is the design. So what was it about "boat designed for two people"?
    What Italian style? The galley is ugly. Grey floor, blue cabinets, white countertops, wooden walls, white shelves again. The caleidoscope of badly matched colors. Three doors opening on each other and creating an incredible mess (7:08). The llight from the cockpit front windows is blocked by some weird partition. Placing the galley and the crew in the widest part of the boat has been a controversial (but frequently used) idea for decades. This boat has NOTHING unique about it as you're trying to say.
    What "finish quality" if the HANDLE stayed in your hand when you tried to open the engine compartment (7:27)?! Not a single door closes properly. Equipment covers not aligned properly and hanging ajar (7:09). There is a BLISTER on the day head door (8:00) - right before you say "You can feel the built quality". No, I can't.
    You REALLY wanted to have a go on a carbon boat, didn't you? :-))

    • @yachtingworld
      @yachtingworld  Рік тому +1

      And it's amazing how I disagree with you too! Some strong opinions there, however the ones you choose to specify are all mistaken I'm afraid. That is not improperly aligned at 7.09 - it needs a tool to open it, which I had partially done to show you what's inside. The handle to the engine room at 7.27 I have explained frequently in comments below. It is designed to come off and not be a permanent handle/snag hazard. And the blister is a trick of the light - as if the owner, yard or I would not have noticed one that large.
      Bear in mind this is a semi custom boat so the style and colours are up to each owner. Hence I think it this is unfair criticism. I have been to the yard, seen the build quality and sailed a few different designs from this brand. And no, it's not that I wanted a 'go on a carbon boat', but I do get the chance to go on a lot of them and try to show these opportunities via video when possible

      @@yachtingworld And now I agree with you. Tastes differ. And this boat differs from the good taste. How about a deal? I'll take back half of my criticism if you agree the galley is horrible! 🙂

    See how the handle broke off the door. What will fall of next? The keel. Typical Italian design.

    • @yachtingworld
      @yachtingworld  2 роки тому

      That was not a fixed handle breaking. It is a quick release handle that I did not insert properly - see explanation in comments below.

  • @bobogliddabrun

    Was that handle meant to come off?

    • @yachtingworld
      @yachtingworld  2 роки тому +2

      Yes - that was my mistake! Those handles are used for multiple locking points so can remove easily - same fittings as winches
