Your lesson plans look so much more in depth and complex than any I have ever done! I start student teaching in the fall (Ec-6 gen). I would love if you were able to share your steps or process behind creating lessons!!

This is a great video. I'm having a hard time with creating a portfolio because I got my certification through an alternate route program. And I am soooo not prepared for teaching. I've started subbing in local districts and am learning a lot, but watching these videos of people who majored in education really show me how much I've missed out on. But then again, I knew that there was no way one semester would prepare me for teaching. I'm going to take some undergrad education courses this year though. Hopefully, I don't feel so lost forever.

Hi I love your channel. One of my friends highly recommended your channel for me. I will be student teaching (starting my internship in the fall) I will be in Math and Science classrooms, so your videos have been very helpful for me. I love your lessons plans. Would you be willing to upload a video of going through how you create your lessons plans or what is in your lesson plans in detail? I know that different schools teach it differently, and I want to learn as much as I can!! (:

Each lesson plan template is unique to each college. Ours always end up being around 11-15 pages which is not realistic for how lesson plans will be when you are actually teaching!

Were the lesson plans you used in this portfolio used for your edtpa? Can you do a video talking about edtpa and how to organize everything for that?

Were the lessons you included lessons you wrote during student teaching, or during your previous field placements? I'm starting student teaching next semester and am starting to pull together my portfolio!

I made this before I knew I was going to have to do online interviews. I found out about my online interview the day before so I wasn't able to use it.
