I just wanted to let you know how much this means to me, I've been struggling with depression because of the pain I'm in. I asked God to take me home to be with Him, I wanted to die and give up. I just came across your video. I honestly and whole heatedly have to say, this video gave me direction. I have always struggled to read the Bible and understand it, actually I was always afraid of not understanding that I put off reading it. I just recently purchased my first Bible for myself. One I wanted to fall in love with. It's a journling Bible. I have had it for a few days now but was kind of lost of how to put down what I just read so I would be able to look back and re-read it and understand. Hard to explain! Your video gave me so many good tips to help me read it than see it than look back to truly understand it. I love the way you explained how writing it down helps. Also loved what you said at the ending of the video. It really helped me to feel it's not about perfection but he just wants me to spend time reading his word and perhaps when I'm left with questions, he'll answer them in his time. Thank you, sorry so long!
a tip God put on my heart to do: every week memorize and meditate on one of Gods promises! im currently meditating on and plan to study pslam 91:11 ' for he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go' ^^

What a great video! I remember the days when I had no idea how to study. For those who question “how” or is that just for preachers, this is a gold mind. Follow her suggestions and you are on your way....you learn by doing one thing over and over, read and keep reading each day....in a year, you will be amazed at what you know and have learned!
