I am so glad that you have a bathroom to go to to pray! The work place can be brutal! I did Medical Data Entry for almost 10 years...one of the most stressful jobs that I loved! God gave me three Christian sisters to work with me! The first had to leave for health reasons. The second went to the same nursing school that I did, years before me; so we had that in common too! 💜🥳✝️🙌
Hello Cat, I never thought of writing my prayers the way you do. The prayers that I write on my bibles are a few lines then I write the date and time. Your video has shown me a different way to write my prayers. I was thinking of creating a prayer journal. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas.
Thank you for this video. I gave my heart to the Lord at about 8 yrs old, but still at 62 I struggle with praying. Sometimes I can pray & my mind doesn't wander, but then sometimes it does. I feel bad cuz with my health issues I'm not able to get on my knees, so I end up either praying while sitting in my recliner or laying in bed. Sometimes I've even gone into the bathroom to have a quiet place to really pray & cry to the Lord. He's brought me thru so much. The pastor I grew up under always had sticky notes & markings in his Bible. Before post-it notes, he would have slips of paper or something marking places in his Bible, so thankfully I've never had an issue of being afraid to mark, highlight or write in my Bible. He was a non-denominational pastor & was very good at explaining things. Of course that's been years ago & I feel sometimes I've never actually learned how to pray. I know the Bible says to start your prayers with thanksgiving but sometimes if a situation is bad I'll end up thanking God at the end of my prayer. You'd think at 62 I'd have no problem with praying, but I still feel I'm not exactly doing it right. I really enjoy your videos. You've helped me in a lot of ways already. I pray you & your family have a blessed Thanksgiving Day. In Christian love! 🕇
I am also 62 and still have difficulty with prayer as well. I have health issues and I know that God blesses ALL of our efforts . He knows us and loves us and meets us Exactly where we are !
The Lord hears all our prayers no matter how well we phrase them. But He dwells in the praises of His people. Dwells....lives. I think this scripture gives us the best key to how to enter into prayer/conversation with the Lord. .....We GO to His house, His temple. Psalm 100:4 King James Version 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. .....i picture myself in a throng of rejoicing, grateful, praising people entering His gates, crossing His courtyard, and entering His temple. Using the keys of Thanksgiving, Praise, thanking Him, and blessing His name. ....i guess this image helps me to focus and come into the richness of His presence

Read a different bible or such" I thought that was so helpful, although I apologize I didn't get your exact quote right word for word. The thought was good! In this video, you have many many thoughts for me to ponder on such as post it prayers and underlining the verse that coincided with our prayer. As always this is a wonderful video. My life has been so blessed by listening and reading what you have to say. I know for certain God wanted me to find you to encourage me. I am a seasoned Believer, but in the last two years, I have had a little personal revival happening in my heart ever since I watched my first video about the Blooming Bible. another idea if you find your time in the bible dull or boring is to start a protect. one of mine is to literally speak the entire bible out loud from gen to rev. another idea is to write the bible.
I have a bible that a complete stranger blessed me with...I told myself..dont mark in it...but I thought and thought..asked and asked God what should I do...took about a month then BOOM!!...I have decided to use it as my "blessings" bible..because I was BLESSED with it...I am currently going thru it with the help of a bible app lol..by highlighting all the blessings verses that the bible has and using that bible in that particular way..I have several devotionals that also help me do that too..I copy the prayers from them into it...im not that good at "willie nillie" prayers..even though God does know WHAT I want to pray..its just hard to form into words
I like your idea of a specific prayer Bible. I write scriptures and prayers daily in my spiritual growth Journal. I like writing my prayers and gratitudes in bullet points. It's faster, I can fit more ideas into the space, and I feel I can use the points as jumping off places to keep my prayers personal, flexible, and fresh. That's how I was taught many years ago. I like turning scriptures into prayers daily also. I was blessed as a child with wonderful teachers. ****** The best method is whatever is comfortable to the individual at the current time. I just don't like to share my videos outside of my own group several admins get upset. But I know not all my girls have seen my videos either. I always it's the Lord's timing when someone finds my channel and best of all the right video for them. I have been blessed enough to help men & women of all ages throughout the years. All scripture is inspired, God breathed life into it, that is why it is living word. Having a relationship with our Bible is having relationship with the Author, our living God. When we open ourselves to His word He speaks with us. What joy, what wisdom learned, guidance and correction received. Thank you for your sharing. I've been marking etc in my Bibles for over 60 years. Sadly too many are taught it is too sacred to write in and should be given a place of honor and periodically dusted but never read. That is neglect. It is living word and a gift to further our personal relationship. I'm glad He has inspired you to share writing, decorating, using His word daily. The company Illustrated Faith was started because the Lord inspired Shanna Noel, a scrapbooker, to take those skills and scrapbook paper, stickers, and ephemera into her Bible a number of years ago. He seems to give the same inspirations to many people all over the world when He wants His people to think certain thoughts.
I bought a bunch of dollar tree notebooks for prayers and whatnot..im not good at willi nilly prayers so I just my devotionals and copy their prayers...I looooovvvveee to write anyways lol..

I received THE MOST BEAUTIFUL cloth cover nkjv journaling bible for christmas..im actually using this for deep deep study ..words translated into hebrew..im mean IN DEPTH "technical" study..if that makes sense im not rushing thru it just writing down stuff to fill up the margins nope im going to take my sweet time . Thank goodness for the wide margins that are lined..otherwise I wouldn't have room lol

I have been praying and praying and asking God if I should write prayers in my bible a stranger gave me asking him to give me SOME KIND of sign..I just didn't want to mark in it...idk..call it gods will...the holy spirit..I am completely drawn to writing prayers from my devotionals in it...I dont want to but im being pushed hard by God I feel ..to write them in that bible...its such a pretty bible...to me anyways lol...I pulled ur channel up cat woods..and boom!!! I watch your videos quite often and I think you have a kind and sweet spirit. The Lord uses His people in various ways to get His message across to others and to show His loving-kindness.
