2:04 the sign says “dangerous road, risk of rock fall, use at your own risk”. This road was closed for about 3 years straight due to a huge landslide. It is indeed spectacular but very hard to maintain because of unstable rocks above. Along it you can see, in the distance, the clouds coming over the mountain range and sliding down the slope on this south side.
There is no way I would have been able to jump that grating at 5:54. There is no doubt that I would have stuck the front wheel in it, somersaulted, and landed on my head. I've done it before.
I love this one yes, very nice climb with very few cars. Some of the most beautiful beaches there too! I really like Rua dos Capuchos off Estrada da Serra - any other good ones in sintra/cascais area?@
You can’t, even with a front light, because your eyes don’t have time to adapt to the sudden light difference. Turns out that, until about a year ago, one of those tunnels had big holes (like, at least 5 cm deep). Also, a bit ahead of the spot where Brian started there’s a sign saying “dangerous road, risk of rock fall, use at your own risk” 😬. I rode the same road about 3 weeks ago
What camera mount are you using, because your descending videos look so awesome and mine do not. Oh wait, you have a riding buddy .... *walksawayshamefully*
Can confirm that. The green of the shrubs, trees and plants in the mountains is completely unreal. It looks as if someone cranked up the saturation knob to 11.
you should cme to india, at the lower tip of india theres a popular island called rameshwaram, it would be really cool if u rode by the indian ocean and on an amazing bridge called pamban which connects the island to indian territory, sri lanka is only 15 kms away
Hey Safa long time fan here. Really like your new bike, wheels are nice. I was thinking of doing the Limni Dam downhill in Greece in few days. Tho i just goPro it, cannot be bothered with production quality haha
my grandmother just died, and I bingewatch your videos because they are so beautiful, it makes it a little bit better.
I am so sorry to hear that. I wish you the best; it will get better with time.
May the Lord give you peace in this hard time of you life.
God loves you. RIP your grandma

Makes the decent even more gnarly ngl
Most roads in the mountains are like this. Do not ride in the rain or after the rain when landslide are most likely.
I have never understood what you are supposed to do when seeing a falling rocks sign? Get the umbrella out? Not go through the road? Give no fucks?
Yep, did this decend a few years ago when it was closed. Most scary thing I did on a bike!
Great shots! I´d love to see Safa descending together with Tom Pidcock!
Fr hahaha
hes too chicken cuz he knows he will get dropped
Add Mohorič as well
No way he would keep up with pidcock
@@foldupaudi7645 you might be surprised here.

That was intense! I'm pretty sure my front wheel would have gotten caught up and I would have went OTB haha SAFA is BEAST
I’d die. How come he jump over it like nothing?
you should practice, it's fun
@@nicosf100 show us a video of you doing it first 😃
@@liquidSpin seriously it's not hard to jump a road bike when clipped in.. start doing it and it just becomes intuitive
Speed almost 70 km/h down the hill and you still have the courage warning the pothole.
I love you Safa.
🇵🇹Thank you Safa for the amazing pictures of our Island, amazing to see you coming down, thank you 🙏
Hopefully he goes to Azores next, they have some nice decents down from the Mountians..
Yes , but Madeira its Madeira My friend 👌🏼😎
I can't describe the amount of good feelings that I received from this video.
Bunny hopping that grating at 5:54 cruising over 50kph is MAD MAD skill. This dude got some tungsten balls!
You need to film the second half then to the sea. Rode to the top then back to the sea in 2019. Most epic place ever. Thanks for footage bro.
I did see you, you went past my house
When you’re riding soooooo fast, you go thru two different weather patterns… 😂😂😂😂 #BadAssMan 🍻
Great to see Scott's official endorsements in the videos! Great things for the channel.
truly breathtaking view
That was a delightful descent. Thanks so much for sharing
This was one of my favorite disciple videos and imo one of the best ever. Stellar ride safa. Proper road shred!!!
Pretty gnarly with the bunnies and drainages of death :D
Views being the most dangerous part of the ride haha
Amazing views (very often in your videos...) and insane skills (as always 🤣). Stay safe, Safa!
Watching this was insane, Can't imagine what it would be if it was in the real deal. Great work SAFA!
5:54 that reflex
That grating looks as though it was intentionally designed to kill cyclists.
Been to Madeira in 2021... was talking to my wife about going again soon, I just love it so much. Great ride mate!
Wow this is spectacular, a view that most of us can only dream of

Deeply mesmerizing!
I prayed for speed and my prayers were answered. By this video.
Hi Safa what’s the psi on the 30mm tires?
60psi
Psi for 28mm?
6:16 just... perfect...
🚲 the ride was definitely beautiful - can’t deny that; the potholes would have freaked me out at those speeds 😳
What a beautiful back drop
