1. Since you are in a community with lakes, does the HOA do anything to keep them free of alligators, or is this just something that residents have to monitor for and call Animal Control for themselves?
2. Are there any builders besides Medallion that include hurricane impact windows and doors as standard?

Also, I was looking forward to taking walks around the lakes/ponds in my new neighborhood, but if they mostly all contain alligators and the HOAs don’t do anything proactively to remove them, then it’s not really safe to walk around them unless the individual residents take action.

Oh, it’s safe. I walk around the lakes every day so it doesn’t everybody else. Alligators are more scared of you than you are of them. They don’t hunt people.

no it is not a 55 plus community im 33 i live here the community at the entrance might be but not tea olive. two different companies , william ryan is not affiliated with ryan homes
