CORAZA Shawl - Full Crochet Tutorial

- In this crochet tutorial I show you from start to finish how to make my Coraza Shawl! The Coraza is a super fun and easy 5 point crochet shawl that works up super quick and makes for an easy breeze fall project! Here I work it in the beautiful Noro Kumo fingering weight yarn (2 skeins for 1 shawl), but you can make it any type of yarn and yarn weight. Perfect for a Whirl and even better is some lush silk!

Just finishing my first one, started two days ago, and planning on more and more for gifts! Lots of suitable yarn in my stash and only one month to Christmas so got to get going. Also half way through a 6” (15cm) mosaic pouch and of course planning more!! Have ordered some zips from eBay. I am so loving your wonderful designs, Tinna. Love this pattern. I used some partial cakes of some fingering weight wool to make it. I only had enough for 45 rows, plus 2 rows of single. I used a solid and a variegated and it is beautiful. Thank you for such a fast, easy, gorgeous design.

Don’t start this pattern unless you are willing to crochet at least six or more 😂😂😂. This is so easy beautiful and addictive (sort of like her mosaic purses 😂😂). Once everyone sees this they will beg to have one too as it’s deceptively simple and sophisticated. I’ve made three for myself in various weights each beautiful. Thanks for another beautiful shawl pattern & tutorial.

When you say a "skein" of yarn what weight of the skein are you talking about then? 50g or 100g or even larger skeins?
All yarn stats and info in the pattern and on the Ravelry pattern page ❤️ but this silk I used here is 100 g skein = 690 m

Do you have a pattern that keeps the " misdibg cake piece" shape to make a short cape shawl? Or, how can I use this beginning and keep the wrap around the shoulder shape? I am looking for a short capr shawl pattern to wear for work. I don't have to hold to stay in place and my hands are free to work.

I don’t know about yarn shops in the UK, but all yarn stats are in the pattern and on the pattern ravelry page.

What is the name of the Silk Yarn and where can I find it please ?
You can use all kinds of silk, but I used something called DYE FOR YARN, hand dyed silk ❤️
