1/3 of the time dj didn’t play love the guy and when he plays he is great but injuries don’t stop the older u get but would love to see him back
Sheldon is a beast. Like you guys say, I would still like a proper nose, but i feel like it won't be reader. This has been a very solid free agency period though. Our needs now match the strength of the draft. Who dey!

@TheSokodelic man there are so many ways I want this draft to fall. However, I would really like to nab one of these tackles with our first. But if the tackle run goes early, would you guys be opposed to a JPJ pick or even Nate Wiggins? For second round I would be good with a receiver that may have fallen or an absolute unit to anchor the D line inside. Maybe a Kris Jenkins? After that let's look at a few tight ends, corners, or some athletic line backers. I would be good with drafting BPA from the 4th onward.

Tart has motivation issues from what I've read, maybe a change of scenery will help but I worry about locker room disruptions.
Add DJ Reader on a 3 year 48 mil deal, 32 guaranteed...make the defensive front a problem. Show DJ some love

The Bengals have not pigeon holed themselves in the draft now, other than RT as of now. There not forced to reach to get a TE, a Safety or NT now. There sitting comfortable with room to improve. That's a good place to be going into the draft, especially with an extra 3rd rounder now.
They still don't have a NT.Rankins is a 3 tech.
@KevinSmith-jz5ur lol he's a interior D lineman. It's a passing league and the Bengals needed a interior pass rush. That was my point. They're filling needs. But yes Mr technical they don't have a true traditional NT in him 😆

DJ came to us from Houston. Here's another no#98 from Houston. If he plays anything like DJ we cought a break. Loosing DJ Reader is a very hard good bey. Best always
I like Rankins, but that pisses me off that the Bengals are going to let Reader even get on the plane to Detroit! Reader is still the best NT in the league IMO. Just feels like they should be keeping some off these guys and stop being cheap
I agree. I wonder if part of this move was to undercut Reader’s leverage with the deal. Hopefully they’ll still keep him

Reader and Rankins side by side is amazing. But, if they stop gap with Tart and then add Sweat the rookie from Texas, well then LFG!
I'd be shocked if Reader signs anywhere in March. I just don't see how he can pass a physical a few months after a major injury. Even if Detroit gives him a deal it feels like Larry O with the Bears all over again.

49ers traded a 7th round pick for Maliek Collins - DT that is rated pretty highly in Run Def - maybe we could do something like that to boost the D-Line.
If Bosa ends up getting cut from the chargers like some people are predicting because of their cap issues. Do you think it’s possible the bengals could go that route to line up another top tier pass rusher along side Rankins and Hendrickson?
I doubt they sign a RT. There are so many draft picks at RT that are realistically better palyers than anyone available

He's also led the league in attempts 4 of the last 5 years and was leading in attempts when he got hurt the other year (2021). This Derrick Henry injury prone thing is nonsense. If he's injury prone, Burrow, Chase, and many others are waaay more injury prone
