There was deep love for chase before his saga but man watching that locker room press conference was really disheartening. Yikes this is back to chad to antonio bryant wr diva days of 2010 and its very sad
I love jamar. But also love tee. Am I crazy to think.. if we can pay one of them long term.. is the upside of jamar worth an extra 15m a year? I can't decide myself.. but 15m extra for another key piece while still having an elite reciever doesnt seem terrible to me. I do worry about the morale hit if they don't keep jamar tho
Exactly what the worry was is coming true and season hasnt started. In a way the REAL issue has been ignored. We had a Tee saga way before a Chase saga. Tee was never a 17 game guy anyhow and with no long term deal for him suddenly hes DOUBTFUL with a hammy. This is already a double problem and its gonna get worse before better. These 2 guys are REQUIRED for us to win anything. But we likely are going to have to endure this type thing all year it was inevitable without guaranteed money. Our wr core without chase and higgins is 30th or worse in the league. Not a sb team no chance
These Burrow era Bengals have been shelling out a lot of money. Anybody who calls them cheap now is living in the past. If theyre gonna have the highest paid player at the two highest paid positions they better produce. There needs to be at least 2 Super Bowl victories over that six year period or they were both overpaid. The Front office isnt buying lottery tickets here.
Don't forget Palmer & Chad- Dalton & AJ!!! These same complaining so called fans wanted Mixon out because he supposedly was overpaid it's so weird I wanted Tee to stay. Chase is about to sign a huge deal early how is that cheap?
I fear the Pats will be up for this one. Literally no one gives them a chance. Until we prove we can stop the run, they will be in it I feel. Come on D, show us your claws. Whodey!
If Cincy even wins by 3 their in for a probably losing season. They should win by at least 10 points to stay elite or top 5 team. I understand changes to this team but come on it's only been 3 years ago when they made the Superbowl run . A good organization just don't let their team fall apart like it seams like this with our Bengals and that's why they need to payout all their top players. Maybe Mike Brown should sell the team to a billionaire as long as in the contract they stay in Cincinnati. If Mike Brown cared for the city and fans he would do that. Will never make it to the Superbowl, maybe in the next 30 years.
Under center 1st down runs was kind of a meme a couple years ago. They kept doing it even though it never worked. Wouldn't be surprising to see them bust that move back out.
How nice would it be if for once we didn't have player or contract drama to talk about this close to game one. Hopefully either this is done before Sunday or made clear not till next year
I’m sorry, but the call it team friendly if he’s trying to become the highest paid non-quarterback in the history of football just because it’s four years is completely laughable. Let’s be real. This was team friendly if I would’ve been signed and done all already and would agree to something less than Jefferson.😊
Team friendly within reason (meaning long term to allow for moving money around, plus in 6 years when it's paid out he won't be top 10 in pay). How about you go to your boss and say gimme a pay cut because I'm a team player lol
Are you honestly comparing someone supposing in a corporate situation vs Chase? No job in this world other than these privileged athletes could you have a job on guaranteed $$ over the next 6 years independent of performance or organizational profits. If Chase has avg. to below avg. performance he still bring home 80-140million. If you were getting paid in the too 1% of your profession you would likely be required to take a pay cut or be fired if you’re not producing. You certainly wouldn’t have contractual agreements financially with your organization for 4-6 years. How do you not see the difference?
I feel like it’s not Team Friendly cause he still has 2 years left. Like dude, I get it, but numbers are comparable to Higgins at this point and you’re still a rookie. Him not practicing and holding the team back is him acting like a petulant child.
Well JAMES RAPIEN I'm glad yo boy is showing his worth Dax hill at CB all I've ever said was Dax was NO free-safety & i thought Cin's reach 2 high drafting him & battle played better last season but since Dax switched positions now he's proving his worth I've always liked Dax just not at safety

Couldn't quickly find the stats to back that up, but easily found "The Arizona Cardinals have lost the most games by a team, with 803 losses." "The Tampa Bay Buccaneers maintain the lowest regular season win-loss percentage (. 406), holding a 308-450-1 record through 2023. Being the most-recently founded franchise in the NFL, the Houston Texans have recorded the fewest games played (338) and wins (142)." "Here are some of the worst football records in a decade: 2008 Detroit Lions: This team had a winless season with 16 losses. 2017 Cleveland Browns: This team had a winless season with 16 losses. 1960 Dallas Cowboys: This team had a winless season with 11 losses and 1 tie. 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This team had a winless season with 14 losses. 1982 Baltimore Colts: This team had a winless season with 8 losses and 1 tie."
Chase camp delayed the whole thing waiting for everybody else to get their contract and then expected the bengals to rush to get it done before the season. The fact this thing is even close to already getting done shows how changed the bengals are. We’re the only team that can’t do what the Vikings did with Jefferson because we have the “cheap” label on us. Pathetic.
According to ESPN fantasy tee Higgins is questionable for Sunday I'm new to fantasy why would they do that I haven't seen anything to suggest he's questionable.
He’s officially on the injury report but I highly doubt he’s actually “injured”. Maybe some tightness or something. I think the bengals are just covering their butt because of how weird the NFL was about investigating injuries last year.
Roto world has an active/inactive list for all players that comes out 90 minutes before kickoff. It is mandatory to be correct to the best of the teams ability by the NFL. Made so by NFL to keep betting sites informed. Fantasy players should definitely be aware of it
