Lovely video - thanks for pulling it together. In my 53 years of supporting West Ham, Billy was simply the best player I've seen wear the shirt. Some were close (and I only saw Bobby Moore for a short while) but Billy always delivered.

I've supported west ham for nigh on 57 years and I've yet to see a more committed player ever to pull on the claret and blue...mooro was coolness and class Peters the first of his kind to ghost into the box and Sir geoff goals in abundance. ..but this guy was your engine and ball winner for over 700 games and he never let you down....billy you are in my eyes the greatest hammer of all time!

I went to every home game in 81 I was 11 we didn’t lose a game at home? ahd we was promoted with a record point tally I think it was 2 points a win then . Watching that brings a tear to my eye makes me feel so nastalgic⚒️
So did I, we lost 1-2 at home v Luton.
