He was the best director for HP, and especially for Prisoner of Azkaban. I found the book quite boring (compared to Chamber of Secrets) when I first read it, to the point where I actually stopped reading about three quarters of the way through and didn't pick it up again for about three months. But his way of telling the story made me appreciate the book a lot more.
