Some are using the Green Scouring Pads for washing up as sound buffer instead of foam and I wouldn't use any close cell foam, it don't let the air go true.
Seeing as you have one in your hands, why not test it and post a follow up video, even if all you show is before and after clips with a sound meter app on a phone!
I read SMK didnt put a user friendly 1/2×20 thread ? Instead thier suppressor has some obscure thread so you cannot fit another can easily..why so hard?
you should put a layer in front as well or a thin rubber circular plate and shot through it, and probably keep the sound maybe lower, without accuracy as a suggestion :)
@@a.k.3659 Did a somewhat similar mod on my silencer and db level didnt lower significantly or as much as I wanted but the pitch changed which is more pleasing to the ears :)
I’ve just taken my silencer apart. Now I can’t seem to find the right way or order to put the rings and baffels and O-ring back in. Ist it possible for you to show in what order and direction they should come in? And if there is a smarter way to get them in place rathervthen just ”dropping”them and hope for the best result. I’m from Sweden, therefor my poor English plz excuse my spelling😱 //Christer
THANKS great video! I am considering the purchase of the CR600W I already have a silencer and I would like to buy an adapter. Please can you tell me the measure of the outer diameter (mm) of the barrel Is what you see in the video the original silencer? Does this unscrew or is it interlocking? A deep bow CARLO from Italy
The silencer they come with screws on with a M10 thread, there is another variation that comes with a slip on muzzle device that secures with a grub screw, but that one isn't actually a silencer.

Hey. I've just purchased one of these CR600W's (runs by the name Artemis where I am...), and I am grateful for your video. Can you please list out, in writing, precisely what the extra elements are and where you purchased them? Many thanks. I find the sound level reasonable already with the stock equipment, but I might do what you've shown here, just for fun and to see the difference it makes. Alsoy are you certain it doesn't deteriorate accuracy at all? (I mean, not one bit)
@@miguelangellaraaraya7419 Out of the box they are only about 9fpe in .22, less in .177. After mods they are about 16fpe in .22. I wouldn't be shooting Hares with 9fpe personally.
Recording a before and after video for suppressors is a waste of time, the difference can never really be heard as the recording device, you tube and the playback devices all normalize audio. To actually have detailed and accurate figures on a graph would mean very expensive mics running through a very expensive oscilloscope, all for a video that UA-cam won't monetize anyway because it's gun related. Simple sound meters and apps will not accurately capture the peak of the sound every time because they use a digital sampling rate. Airgunning and modding them is meant to be fun, if its too much effort to try a 20 min mod that costs less than a few $, then maybe this isn't for you? Try it out, have some fun, it worked well for me.
hello, I know the video is no longer relevant and my question is also if you help, I will be very grateful 🥹 I already poured boiling water on the moderator three times for 15 minutes, heated it with a hair dryer, but I could not unscrew it 🫣 Help in this situation? thank you 🤗
It's a Weihrauch style silencer, can't get much quieter than that, ther is a reason why it's one of the best on the market. 👍🖖

I'd get rid of the Baffels alltogether and replace them with washers. Check out the Weihrauch Silencer. It's pretty effectiv on CO2 and PCP

It's the same moderator, on the PR900W.
And Diana Bandit
I was just looking for this hehe ive had to fill my in with cloth to..but where can i buy the spacer and the three baffles?
Would have been great if you measure the DB level before and after the mod.
didnt do a before and after test, but you can hear the difference in real life.

@@edaggs1677 Thanks very kind
I have some videos up how to make it quiet enough to shoot in one room of a house and not hear it in another.
Так не надо делать нужно просто просверлить сверлом 1мм в начале модератора на втулке и и на модератора 4отверстия для заброса давления и все
Hallo, hast Du ein Bild ??? Danke im vorraus 😊

Plastic bits are hair curlers and the sponge, well, find some sheet sponge.
Don’t forget round nose scissors and a ruler, probably best if you wait until mummy and daddy get home…
Did this silencer modification make the rifle noticeably more silent?

Yes, with some modifications I would say up to 40m
