Nice guide. One thing I would like to add: there is just sufficient wiggle room to unscrew the cap without removing the rubber hose.

And you could break the air filter plastic tube (nozzle) inside the hose if you wiggle too hard. I saw this happened. Better remove the hose from one end.

Is this the cabin air filter? I've a 2010 golf HB and no one knows how to replace the filter. Many ask me 'which' filter. How many filters are there. In my previous Sentra I'd just change the filter myself. HELP!
