What a powerful video. It’s heartbreaking to see the blatant racism and abuse of power, but inspiring to watch Mayor Michael Trent stand up and demand accountability. This isn't just about one officer; it highlights the urgent need for systemic change in our police departments. We need to continue amplifying voices like his and support real reforms that ensure everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Let’s keep the conversation going and hold those in power accountable! 💪🏿✊🏾

I have been hit by cops and arrested by cops and all I had was a head injury, one cop that hit me caused further injuries , because of what he did I have. I Not seen my sons most of there lives and do not know if I have grandkids. The injustice we give our black brother is Very trivial compared to how we treat our brain injured.

I do not understand why people of other races fear black people so much. This man is dress in a suit. Answering the officer question but still he is a suspicious of the man because of the color of his skin. Caucasian people real that they have power over the other races. Why? I wonder.? God gave all of us skin color . We are all God people but we all get treated differently because of our skin color. It is really funny when you think about. Caucasian people feel like they are the gods of this world because of their skin color.

Yeah, so Michael (The Mayor) was already aware of this type behavior and did nothing about it. Now that the ball is in his court, oh, we must take action and put this to an end, before it's one of his relatives. Had he beeen on his job originally, he would not have found himself in that position. And it's the same thing everywhere. No one wants to take any physical action against this type of abuse; but, as soon as it's someone's child, or parent or other relative, it just drags on. Should have nipped in the bud, when his ass took the job at the onset. And with him being at the top of the totem pole, he still had to contemplate how the Chief of Police would respond to it. Now, if anyone can make sense of this false stack of authority, please enlighten me.

The humiliation Thomas endured simply because of his appearance, despite being the rightful owner of the company, exposes the deep-rooted biases that can exist even in professional settings. This tale reminds us all of the importance of respect, empathy, and fairness, and that our actions often reflect more on us than on those we judge. Thank you for sharing this impactful story.
