    how u people can make so smooth and silky hairs?

    • @tedoymisojos
      @tedoymisojos 4 роки тому +4

      Use a leave in conditioner plus a styling cream/lotion that says smoothing or all in one which doubles as a heat protectant. Put some oil on the ends of hair. Dry with blow drier and a gentle paddle brush (I use a detangling brush because is gentler). Finish with a good quality flat iron and a shine spray, or a bit of the same oil you used on the ends. Spray with flexible hair spray the top layer so that the hair cannot stand up and puff up. Works for me :) I use the generic brand knock off of Its a 10 products and for oils I use stuff from Carols Daughter.

    • @tedoymisojos
      @tedoymisojos 4 роки тому +3

      I forgot to mention to use a gentle shampoo and smoothing conditioner. The ones meant for color treated hair are always gentler. I use the Head & Shoulders line for color treated hair. Also make sure hair is dry before applying hot tools, but not so dry it feels like straw. If it feels like straw or like it could snap at any moment, add hair oils and maybe even a bit if a lightweight curl refreshing spray or light leave in spray. You dont want to burn your hair or make it snap. ;)

    Thank you so much for this. I've needed to trim my bangs for three months and couldn't see out from under them, but I didn't have time to go to a salon. Saved me!

    I know this video is a year ago, but you made it seem easy to achieve a successful side swept bang. Therefore, in order to get this right, if I I wear my bangs to the left side, then I take my V to the right to get left sided bangs, correct.? It would be great if someone would verify that for me!! Thanks

      @ChloeGillian  8 років тому +3

      Yes! You are correct! Just take it to the opposite side of whichever side you want to wear them. :)

      lalastar0002 I was wondering if you could do a video on side swept bangs for people with heart shaped faces? Just so I know what will look really good

      same problem!!!

    • @edenrose123
      @edenrose123 7 років тому +8

      it's because you just cut the hair shorter, taking off extra weight that kept it straight. So you're gonna have to blow dry them with a round brush, or just use a flat iron on them!

    You can use the same twist cut that you show in your straight bangs video, for a side swept. Comb to the opposite side, use your cutting hand to decide length, then twist UP, take with your non-cutting hand and finish the twist. Then you cut straight across and end up with a side swept. I've been using that technique for several years now. Great videos for self haircuts!! Thanks!
