Great video Thunder! Ya push them cars to their limits! My buddy picked up a non exb Kraton 6s and ran into a light pole at a slow speed. Probably less than 20mph? The whole car was destroyed. He needed to buy a roller. So many parts were busted. This was the Kraton's first and only crash. Legit, I was at his house when he unboxed it My maxx has hit trees, walls, and rocks at full pin. It has only ate trough that thin hub bearing that was rough since the day I bought it. That bearing took the end of the drive shaft. Less than a 15 dollar fix and 5 mins at the bench it was good to go.

That was worse than the Hindenburg accident. Seeing the wreck in slow-mo was horribly gut-wrenching; you can see the energy shockwave pass thru the Outcast. Well, time to get a new chassis. I guess the outcast is out of commission for a little while. And that was more like you snapped the front Quarter of the RC. She snapped at the weakest point where all those endpoints converge at the thinnest spot and there are so many bolt holes. But it looks like you had a lot of fun out there with our newest friend from Germany. Tell our friend: "Hallo, guten tag!?!" for us please. As Bill and Ted would say: "I hope y'all are having a most excellent day." If he is still there this weekend, maybe we 3 can get together for a crazy bash session. My outcast gets here tomorrow. The new king!!! Now you flipped back to all it drives good but the xrt is a better basher? 🤦♂️ why do I even bother watching. People come to the channel because you put the trucks through the paces but once you start flip flopping people stop watching because they get confusing info. Now I’m torn, was a xrt a better basher? I wanted something 5th scale. The best but now I’m clueless!! I’m about reliability in as bashing toughness
@@luisfontanez1770the Outcast and Kraton are better bashers. I’ve broken tons more parts on my Xrt than my Kraton. Literally had to put $3k into it to just equal the durability of the K8s exb. I didn’t have to swap my chassis on my K8 but I did for sh!ts N’ gigs. All in all I have $2100k into my Kraton and $3200+ into my XRT.
@luisfontanez1770 For Good landings I'd give the advantage to the arrmas for speed height and Maneuverability. But when it comes to horrible bad landings the xmaxx/ xrt will walk away way more often than a Arrma. I always tell people if you enjoy dumping money into your rc cars and enjoy major overhauls and making regular repairs (basically ever big air session) pick Arrma. If you don't plan on big air or death ramps. Traxxas will give you almost a maintenance free experience. I'm a Arrma fan boy and enjoy big air. I always build x-maxxs and end up selling them. I always keep Arrmas around. But I also understand I will be breaking them and working on them. But it's also what I enjoy doing almost as much as the bashing aspect.
2 and a half months,sledge outcast exb 8s just unboxed and xmax 8s. I’m googling how to bind remote. So yeah haven’t land a backflip yet with my sledge and I’m over 4k $ In the hole 😂 🤦♂️
Only thing we have consistently broken on the XRT is the Steering bellcrank, but that was only when THEASHING it to death with huge air and BAD landings. Problem has been resolved with the one available from M2C racing. Some guy we didn’t know broke the hex on one of the wheels, said it happened when he smashed into a light post in a parking lot. I have stuffed the X-MAXX and XRT into the ground or straight into rocks, trees, light posts etc. I’m not going to lie & say they never break, of course they break, but more often than not they are fine. Parts are cheap enough to keep a good selection of spares on hand. In the end it’s the brand and model that puts the smile on your face.👍🏼🔥🏁

Have to add one more comment. In all fairness that poor Kraton took MAJOR abuse before it gave up the ghost. That chassis snap is from fatigue. Like bending the tab on a soda can back & forth, back & forth until it breaks off. I personally prefer Traxxas (sorry people) but the Kraton 8S V2 “AINT NOOO JOKE” so if you own one, your rollin with one of the very best. Another awesome vid⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That was brutal took chunks of Concrete out😱😱 That 7075 Arrma uses us better than stock, but nothing close to even what Corally uses, and M2C is next level with the certifications they have to the quality.... But EVERYTHING has its limits. Bro that was insane, that avc was causing some crazyness... And that ramp, you gotta send it without a risk to concrete landing....reposition or something. That XRT took some crazy hits though to be fair. You pulled some crazy front flip recoveries😎👍.... Some of that was the avc helping but AVC is like 80% it's gonna screw ya when pulling wild stuff like that..... It's guessing what your trying to do and can be often wrong as you know, we all never use it when sending sucks that you caught after some brutal hits. Great video, your bro was landing some suck stuff as well, that's always fun!

Lawn dart onto pavement off death ramp...death landing. Not sure many stock chassis would survive that! It did survive a lot of big jumps from previous vidoes tho! I wonder if fatigue of the aluminum helped lead to that chassis snapping 🤔

I know people will talk trash about the arrma chassis, but I doesn't matter traxxas or arrma or whatever...you send cars hard over and over....you're bound to have issues. Add a bad day of driving which we all have...and you get catastrophic breaks. It's the way it is. I don't care what you have in your car....asphalt nose landings will usually be the nail in the coffin to at least a few parts on a car. The ultimate definition of high risk high reward.

XRT for the win..! Say what you want about Traxxas and their rigs, but you cannot deny their durability. Had an outcast EXB 8s and it was a good handling rig, but could never take abuse like my XMAXX could. Sold the Outcast and got the XRT and never looked back. Throw some better tires on the XRT, stiffen the shocks and you’ll have the handling similar to the Outcast but with Traxxas durability. I put sledgehammers on mine and it’s ridiculous..!!

Have to add one more comment. In all fairness that poor Kraton took MAJOR abuse before it gave up the ghost. That chassis snap is from fatigue. Like bending the tab on a soda can back & forth, back & forth until it breaks off. I personally prefer Traxxas (sorry people) but the Kraton 8S V2 “AINT NOOO JOKE” so if you own one, your rollin with one of the very best.

That 7075 Arrma uses us better than stock, but nothing close to even what Corally uses, and M2C is next level with the certifications they have to the quality.... But EVERYTHING has its limits.
Bro that was insane, that avc was causing some crazyness... And that ramp, you gotta send it without a risk to concrete landing....reposition or something. That XRT took some crazy hits though to be fair.
You pulled some crazy front flip recoveries😎👍.... Some of that was the avc helping but AVC is like 80% it's gonna screw ya when pulling wild stuff like that..... It's guessing what your trying to do and can be often wrong as you know, we all never use it when sending sucks that you caught after some brutal hits.

I know people will talk trash about the arrma chassis, but I doesn't matter traxxas or arrma or whatever...you send cars hard over and over....you're bound to have issues. Add a bad day of driving which we all have...and you get catastrophic breaks. It's the way it is. I don't care what you have in your car....asphalt nose landings will usually be the nail in the coffin to at least a few parts on a car. The ultimate definition of high risk high reward.

XRT for the win..! Say what you want about Traxxas and their rigs, but you cannot deny their durability. Had an outcast EXB 8s and it was a good handling rig, but could never take abuse like my XMAXX could. Sold the Outcast and got the XRT and never looked back. Throw some better tires on the XRT, stiffen the shocks and you’ll have the handling similar to the Outcast but with Traxxas durability. I put sledgehammers on mine and it’s ridiculous..!!
