I own this watch for over seven years now. I got nothing to say but very good things. It is an absolutely gorgeous watch, a real joy to wear. If I had to purchase it again I would probably go for the stainless steel instead of the gold plated. Not that the gold has faded over the years but I lean a bit more toward genuine metals rather than plated one. The plexiglas cristal does not bother me, actually it gives a special pleasing touch. The old ETA chronograph mechanism is a bit noisy, it adds a little bit to the old fashioned feel. Overall I love Junghans.
❤great review of a fantastic watch❤ I own the Junghans Miester Telemeter and it always get compliments…. Well maybe not always but it does get complements every now and then 😊
Hi Barry, I like this: Junghans is one of those brands that has its own design language: Sinn, Nomos and Rolex also have this. I'd rather have the steel finish: gold PVD has a limited life in front line service, it soon looks ... um ... unhappy whereas the steel will look good for longer. Like you, I don't know how to characterise this watch: perhaps this is what makes it special. Thanks for this Barry, have a good weekend, cheers, Bob 🍻 Oh, and 🍾🥂 for your wife. 😊
I came away from this review really liking the watch and as you say its in a class of its own, as its not a full dress watch nor would I say its a full tool watch either Have a good one chap :)
I think this brand is great. Not especially pricey, reliably good German quality, a fantastic aesthetic. My favourites are the simple max bill watches, but they’re all really good Great review thank you
I really wasn't sure at first but after having it on the my wrist and spending the time to really look at it , I came away really enjoying it liking the fact its that bit different matey
Yep Peter thats your seconds hand the larger hand is the second hand for the stop watch, Let me know what you think of the Meister , I have the new Chronoscope with the yellow hands in for review at the min
I went into the shop and the lady did her best not to actually roll her eyes at me that I had figured out what chronographs do lol. Nice sounds like you've got my watch then? Though there is a green face with paler yellow sub dual needles. I just think it strikes an excellent hybrid appearance of sport and dress. I have my 34mm max bill manual for full dress duties still
It's true the chronoscope is a sort of crossover dress sports watch and has its own personality. PS if it makes you feel better you not the first person to ask the question about the second hand☺️ 👍🏻
