I don't know anyone who races with Walksnail so this combo setup you are showing is probably only useful for the analog pilot who occasionally does proximity freestyle?
I know at least 2 people here in Poland that use walksnail in racewhoops
This goggles is a good refresh over the previous one. I think this product is targeting mainly people who sticks with analog which is hard to find so it would be intresting to see the price for it. I personally fly analog and I would love to use this googgles.
Surprisingly, a lot of my viewers are still on analog with no plans to upgrade to digital so this might be an option for someone who wants the bigger screens of the O4X PRO.

Interesting that the displays are 1080p but it can only do 100hz in 720p. Wonder if 1080p at 100hz could be enabled later via firmware update?

Small upgrade to some great goggles. I really enjoy my Syzones. Albert has been rocking the gold ones for quite a while now.
What's worse than an over sized FOV my old old FatShark goggles. The FOV I believe is 28 degrees and 35 for my oldest Fatsharks that are now 😵
RR made a review about a year ago with a guy who used cheap box goggles. After letting him use some FS Attitude goggles and some FS Scouts he chose to take home the Scouts. Is there some $ driven snobbery going on in FPV?
Thank you so much for the information. Still using my Skyzone O2X goggles. Seriously considered the HD Zero goggles until I added up the enormous price. WOW!!! Pushing a $1,000 for goggles plus in some cases doubling the cost of a new quad. I don't race, so the faster latency has no meaning to me. Thanks again.

Would love to upgrade from analog to hd
I only use 4:3. If I put the Pro on 4:3 mode, is the size aceptable or should I get the base model instead
I find it acceptable because the screens are already so huge but I'm not sure how other people would feel about it.
The VRX also doesn't do 1080p 100 FPS .
Maybe that's why Skyzone decided to not support 1080p 100hz.

Wow, it's been a while seeing a new analog goggle. Great to see an upgraded analog goggle, for the analog guys. Works with walksnail 👍. Seriously fpv goggles are like sunglasses you have to try them on to see how they fit on your face. Great review Albert. 👍

Great review, just received the 04x pro, totally agree with FOV and slightly rounded corners, the dummy receiver bay on RHSide being extra vent for heat issue is a little disappointing às it limits antenna options especially with a patch, but overall nice improvements and walksnail so easy to add on, the weight is barely noticeable. Nice work Skyzone. Thanks for the great review.
If the IPD could go wider you probably wouldn't have rounded corners 71 is just too narrow for a lot of people
Hi Albert, I have a question. I also received o4xpro yesterday. However, when I go into the TF SteadyView X menu and click on automatic channel search. then a little later, I can see only black appear on the screen. How about your goggles?
It landed on a channel that has a strong signal but is probably a security camera in your area and the signal is likely scrambled. It's not landing on a real analog video signal.

IFly both, as I have a lot of older equipment that's worthless and can't be sold. Where did you get the nice porous face foam, that's not like a slick stock stuff for the Sky Zone 04X?

Please tell me, at full HD resolution, how many FPS do these glasses give? I saw that DVR is written in 60 fps, but I can't understand how many fps you actually see on the screen. The same HDZero give 90 FPS only at low resolutions.
1920x1080 resolution at 100fps.
As a beginner, analog compatibility is insane. I know less the more i read.

Many products come in different versions. If you want to go with analog as in the SKY04X and PRO, then you need to choose the drone in the analog version (assuming it is sold with one). The control link also needs to match. If you have an ELRS Pocket, the drone needs to have an ELRS receiver. On the product page there will be different options to select for the different systems you want to connect with. So just choose the ones that match your gear.
Probably can't see the edges because the IPD is too small, I also can't buy them because of the too small IPD all goggles should at least go up to 74 IPD too bad they look like nice goggle. Nice review as always
Not in my case. I have the lenses close together and the IPD range is not the issue for me.

Is the 52 degree FOV in 16:9 mode or 4:3 mode? If it is in 16:9 mode, the FOV is probably going to be smaller in 4:3 mode. This is similar to what it shows up on HDZero goggles.
It's for the whole panel which is 16:9. So yes, the 4:3 FOV will be a little smaller.
Definitely a weird offering considering all of the hd options becoming more and more affordable
It's still the best analog FPV goggle out there but it can now handle 100hz for those who want to use it with their digital VRX.
Good review. Skyzone has really good goggles. Since 2018 the sky02X /w rapidfire have been my main analog goggles. Since I fly hd primarily, they're used for micros and LR now.
